I have confirmation that Gaitan will definitely sign for Man United this summer.

Redrick

Believable13 Unbelievable49

Ok, thanks for that....
HERBIE

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance will gaitan sign. We are after hazard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Portugese top agent as said his likely destination is old tfafford

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not allowed to say who my source is, but he is very closely connected to the player

Redrick

Agree0 Disagree0

If its true..bummer..

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i was told by someone that United were in talks with Benfica and that Benfica had looked at Ocampos as a replacement. So i'm quitely confident we'll see Gaitan in a United shirt next season, there just seems to be getting more and more to this transfer as time goes on.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

Course you do mate, if this is the case you wont mind proving it will you Redrick

Agree0 Disagree0

I've got confirmation that you haven't got a clue who's going to sign for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im his source and im not scared to tell you that its true! im actually gaitans left foot and i was the one who told redrick this info. expect me in a man utd sock next season!

Agree0 Disagree0

And I'm his right leg, I never get used and have no idea if I am ever going to be used.

In my opinion not good enough and don't want gaiten. I don't understand why he would be on saf list of players when clearly there are younger and more talented players that will be available.

Abs

Thanks to you everybody on here has got confirmation that there is a serial FIBBER on the loose!

The only way Gatian will be at United next season is on this kids Football Manager team!!

Where is everyone getting this confirmation from. i want some

I have confirmation that reading all this made me LOL a little. :-)

Abs was giggs never good enough then considering he only had 1 foot and still does?

giggs trying to kick the ball with his right foot is like watching a cow giving birth........

Robbo

Agree0 Disagree0

Where can i buy some confirmation?? iv been after some for ages but theyve sold out at my local Lidl!
duggo

Agree0 Disagree0

So your comparing a legend to a player who is 24 and has not even laced giggsy boots. Giggs was performing since he was 17 at the top level and still is. What the f**k has gaiten done and did you even hear of him before the story broke in the papers. He played against us and Chelsea and did s**t all and even got subbed. Also has he set the great Portuguese league a light no. Giggs is a natural winger so he only needed to use his left foot same as toni v. Gaiten was a attack minded midfielder but his coach deemed he wasn't good enough and moved him to the wings. If you go to all the united forums I am not the only one who will be disappointed with signing gaiten. I'm just saying there are better players out there we can sign for more or less the same price. So get off the gaiten bandwagon.

Manchester United want to sign Athletic Bilbao young striker Iker Muniain in the next summer transfer 2012 . Sunday Express reported the Red Devils will try to bid £ 20 million for Muniain. Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United, would not mind taking him off.Muniain is still 19 years. He dubbed as Spanish Messi, and a key player who ousted Manchester United from the Europa League.

Fergie impressed with the game was shown by Muniain. He believes Muniain will be more developed in Old Trafford.

There has been no response from Athletic Bilbao. Basque community club that would certainly be very busy when the summer transfer market is openned. Iker Muniain is one of four Bilbao players who became the target of the English club. Fernando Llorente, Javi Martinez, and Ander Herrera, also on the shopping list of English clubs....! :p [sorry for copy paste]

Believable16 Unbelievable15

I really hope its true. He seems to tick all the boxes, and i think i'm not mistaken in saying he is left footed as well?

Really hope we dont sell Nani. I know many wat to sell him desperately but in my opinion , he is only one of the very few United players who have that 'fear factor'. Somethig we lack in and desperately need e.g when we had rooney tevez ad ronaldo.

TRUMORS

Believable35 Unbelievable5

Well said mate, Nani is a crucial player for us. Look at his finish on the weekend, and that was his first game back.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if we sign gaitan or hazard i dont think we will sell nani because i think they will be playing as a cm/cam instead of a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani is available for sale and has been for the last 2.5-3 seasons. Very over rated by many and only performs once in every 5 games. Good player but nothing more. If a good offer comes in he's off.

United Till I Die 1987

Agree0 Disagree0

What if we sold Nani and used the money to fund a bid for Hazard? would you still feel the same way then?
rp

Agree0 Disagree0

United Till I Die....
Nani's been available for the last two or three seasons has he?
What absolute codswallop.
You might like the idea of him having been available, but clearly, if you ever actually get the games you'd see that Nani is one of a very limited number of players we have that cause the opposition to get on the back foot. One of our most dangerous attackers, despite his inconsistency.
What short memories some of you so called United fans have....Who was our player of the season last year?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only fear factor nani causes ,is to the fans in row z who are in danger of 1 of his freekicks or crosses hitting them :)
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani was easily one of our top players last season. He can be frustrating at times but selling would be a massive mistake. He is a player with a bit of magic about him that you sometimes need. He is happy here as well. If we got Hazard he will be off to Spain within 2 seasons.
Woffsta

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani was available in the summer.

i like nani but i think he is a much better RW than he is LW.
For me Valencia is first choice RW so im not sure we are going to get the best out of nani.
Nani's best form has been when valencia was injured
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with Jred. Nani was excelltent last season when playing on the right with Valencia injured. He is probably th eone player in our squad with that bit of magic to put players on the back foot and do the unexpected. Personally I would rather have Valencia on the right with his pace, power and much better and more reliable end product as well as the defensive work he does. So the options are it seems to play him on the left, convert him through the middle which I cant see him being consistantly effective and reliable at or sell him. Personally I wouldnt like to lose Nani, he is an exciting player and can make things happen and with quite a few outgoing players already probably I dont think he will go either, but I could fully understand if he was to be sold, however people saying he was for sale in the summer or for the last three years, rumours and nothing more

copy and paste but here ye go...

Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira has admitted it is flattering to be linked with a move to a big club after Manchester United reportedly sent another scouting mission out to Spain.

Chief European scout Martin Ferguson, brother of United manager Sir Alex, is understood to have been in attendance on Sunday as Granada lost 1-0 to Real Zaragoza in the Primera Liga.

It is believed to be the third time in a month that Siqueira has been watched by United as the Premier League champions consider their transfer options for the summer.

Siqueira, 25, is under contract with Granada until June 2015 and is thought to be valued in the region of 12million (£9.8m).

Speculation in Spain suggests that Granada would be prepared to listen to offers at the end of the season, with a number of other clubs also in pursuit.

Valencia are reported to have joined the race, while Barcelona and Benfica have also been linked with Siqueira in the past.

The Brazilian-born Italian is aware of the transfer talk and says he will have to think carefully about his future.

He said: "I am very happy with this news. If a good proposition arrives I am open to studying the subject."

Just had a chat with a mate, and Raul's name came up which is quite interesting really. If you think about it, he could come in and be a really good fourth back up striker who also helps the likes of Welbeck, Keane and Chicharito to fill their potential by passing on his masses of experience. Now i am sure that SAF would love Michael Owen to stay on for another year, but realistically, would it make any sense what so ever? I don't think so as he has been more of less permanently injured for the past year or two and does not really offer the 1st team much at all. Raul on the other hand would, he is generally injury free, finds the net all the time and would be a great option for us on a FREE. With Berbatov, Owen leaving probably, Keane and King may go on loans, we'd be left with 3 strikers, Raul would make a very nice forth i think. If we were to get Raul, Clyne and Kovacic on free's (nominal for the younger ones) then that would be 3 great players coming in and we could then spend on someone like Martinez/Strootman, Hazard/Muniain.

RedDevil19

Believable23 Unbelievable11

I think it would be fair to have a look at Del Piero if SAF ever wanted to complete a deal for that purpose, the guy was class and is also on a free. Just think about the shirt sales on of those two would bring in, its a glazers wet dream.

JWalk

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh, Owen is play as you play, so, he doesn't really need to go.n Raul will be in a contract of a year or so.I think what we're looking for is..obv a cm,and Lm. Jus that I think. Or maybe a faster pace of an experience striker before berba. That's wt I think

Raul is a great palyer and to back this up i pick out a few facts from his profile:
-400th goal of his career
-77th goal in a European competition
- 44 goals in 102 caps
- 4 Hatricks in two years
- 34
Compared to del piero at the rip old age of 37 i rest my case

the rumoured extensions on OT to make it a 95 000 seater stadium could be true with the talk of a singing section being placed it will most likeley come along with the extensions on the stadium.

i read that on some site.
do u guys think it is true?

Believable27 Unbelievable5

Singing section would be nice maybe some decent songs can be made to the beat of a drum. its needed

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw a bit a while ago about utd buying up the houses behind the train line on a google images pic u can slowly see houses going! someone mentioned about 1 house wont move as he listens to game from his house! be interesting to see what comes of it all!

ms85

Agree0 Disagree0

The singing section is happening, but nothing to do with the extension of the stadium.

The away fans are being moved from S22 and E30 up into the top of North stand (like the practised at the Villa game) and where the away fans used to be will be a singing section. It will only be about 3000 fans and I have a feeling that they will not be letting anybody in with a drum when you aren't allowed in with an Umbrella or a bottle with a top on!

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely the guy who wont move could be offered a free season ticked for 5 years, then he can go the games! - i bet he would sell up then

Agree0 Disagree0

'ms85'

I am not sure it would be difficult to shift anyone from their home. If their house is worth say £70k, United would offer them £80k/£90k/£100k. What would he prefer? Move to the next street over or live in a street on his own with all of the other houses knocked down around him?

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

They should make it more than a 100 000 seater stadium to sh*t in barcas face

Agree0 Disagree0

They should make a roof around the whole stadium so that the sound makes it an amazing atmosphere

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd

i agree there if it was me money talks but the old skool folk are different! he may be happy alone you just never know!

Agree0 Disagree0

The biggest problem is the scale of the job. If the benefits don't outweigh the risks, of which there are many, no development will be made.

Until they reach a point where they can eliminate many of the existing risks, it won't happen, I don't think many people realise that this isn't something that will just happen in the couple of months off season, it would likely mean closure of several parts of the ground during the season.

TM

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd there is a man from where I live who lives in half of a terrace house as they knocked all the houses down on his street he refuses to move as he has lived there all his life he must be 80+ and refuses to sell for any price, the old people don't care for money they just want their home.

Anon {Ed007's Note - That happened a lot in Glasgow when the local council issued Compulsory Purchase Orders to develop areas for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Some people were getting a lot less back for their houses than they actually paid for them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a sponsorship on the South stand if it was redeveloped. A ten year sponsorship deal with Nike for £50m or so. That would pay for half of the development. Or a combined sponsorship of Carrington for £100m. There are options that can be looked at.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see the stadium being extended we cant sell out most games at the moment and tickets easy to get if you dont have a season ticket.would prefer the money if availible to be spent on players
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

'John'

This is something that we will need to progress to sometime in the future. There are 177k United fans signed up to MUST, many are too stubborn to go to OT until the debt is removed from the club. Then you have the FC United of Manchester lot who have a following of 3k. If the debt was removed by floating 30% of the club and money was spent on players then MUST's work will be done. United would have no problem filling the 95k stadium against the top clubs in Europe/EPL.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd dont believe everything you read,im signed up to must but go to every single home games as im sure a lot who are also signed up do,fc united have a hardcore of about 2,000 out of which some still go but mainly to away games.this season we have been advertising ticket packages and availibility on the local radio stations and some websites something we have never had to do before.most of the people i go with or meet by and large are still match going as well even after 30+ years.
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

The main reasons United aren't selling out OT is:

1. The economic situation at present;
2. The high ticket prices; but mainly
3. The drab football (compared to the Ronaldo years).

I think you have to understand that United's purchase of those houses and all the property around OT, is part of the long-term planning, as in 50 years, and unlocking the potential for further growth in revenue and therefore the Glazers' sell-on value.

I don't foresee United expanding the stadium in the next ten years. But I can see a fanpark, hotel and other money making ideas appearing near the ground.

according to ....'The Star'
Fergusen is luking to snap up the deal for munain....with in few weeks !

Ed002-is he perfect of manutd? {Ed002's Note - Muniain was touted around the clubs on behalf of Bilbao - and the two clubs in England that were approached were Chelsea and Manchester United. The asking price was 40M euros. They won't get it because I don't think clubs would risk half of that on a player who is young and has had some off field issues. If the price comes down to a reasonable level I can see interest from several English clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool. Roma interest is still there but perhaps an eventual move to Barcelona beckons.}

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Muniain is good but ever since ronaldo we need a star so only hazard can fill that gap for me

Agree0 Disagree0

McCarthy from Wigan and Dempsey from Fulham is all we need next season

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he'd be the perfect signing as he is so versatile. If we can convince to go down the outside more on the left then we have good width down that side so Muniain, who likes to float would do a very good job for us. Muniain, Nani and Rooney would give us great movement, we'd have so many more options if we had Nani, Young, Valencia, Muniain and Young i think. He seems to suit Man Utd as well, more so for me than Hazard does.

Did no-one see his interview on MUTV the other night.... says he wants to establish himself in the first team and become a legend like Eric Cantona, who is also french. RED73

Agree0 Disagree0

His agent has supposedly denied these rumours. But I have to agree with the above comment, I am sick to death of hearing about a player who as of yet has achieved sweet FA in the Manchester United first team.

Agree0 Disagree0

While the story is becoming drawn out, Im surprised at anyone unconcerned about the outcome! Some people regard winning the FA youth cup as an achievement... so he has achieved something for us! On top of being the biggest prospect to come out of our youths in a long time, SAF is also trying very hard to keep him.. which says it all! So ignore the stories if they annoy you, but you should be very disappointed if he isnt here next year.

Gar

Agree0 Disagree0

Gar

It's boring now.....this kid has had enough chances to sign.
It's not as if it's Ronaldo were trying to keep. He's done sweet FA to hold the club to ransom like he is doing, if he doesn't want to sign then do us all a favour and f*ck off and give another player in the reserves a chance who really wants to play for the club.
All i hear is it's his agent turning his head...why, does Paul Pogba not have a brain in his head to decide where he want's be.
Some of these footballer are that fickle they even need there agents to wipe there own ars*s.

After that rant im off!

Simmo

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say "its hardly Ronaldo"? Who was Ronaldo at 19? He hadnt achieved much either. The whole point of trying to keep Pogba is that the guy is going to be one of the best midfielders in the world and we need to try our hardest to make sure that happens with us. I for one will be disappointed if the lad isnt with us next season.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like him to stay as he does look a good prospect but I'd be worried what he'd be like if he did become as good as people think. Maybe another tevez or even balotelli. Just remember over the years we've had lots of hot prospects that went very cold when they stepped into big boys football. As Morrison even got a game at west ham ?

Agree0 Disagree0

TK-RED

How do you know that he is going to be one of the best midfielders in the world..please tell me??
Do you have a crystal ball or maybe you have the Almanac from the film Back to the Fututre.
People are becoming obsessed with this kid, if he wanted to stay at Man United and loved this fantastic club then he would of signed.
He's a bloody reserve player and yes has bags of potential but to say he's gonna be one of the best...please, nobody can say this.

Simmo

Agree0 Disagree0

True SImmo, having the potential to be on eof the best and fullfilling it are different things altogether. I bet virtually every top team in the premiership has had fans drooling over a youth player who was to be the next big thing that has ended up playing football at a much lower level. Dave Jones I remember people raving about a few years ago, more recently as mentioned Morrision who still may make it who knows, but not looking promising. Yes it would be a sham to lose a player of promise, and one Ferguson is fighting hard to keep it apepars but the guy hasnt achieved jack yet and there are no guarantees he ever will, he is getting far too much coverage for a player that is CURRENTLY nothing more than a talented youth player on the fringes of the first team

Man utd will Bid for hazard around 35 million in july instead of w.sniejder !

Whats ur opinion ed002-syd ? Please comment ...i m die hard fan of your website !
:) {Ed002's Note - I would not be totally surprised but they will need to be wary of the issues the boy has with constantly talking to the press so will likely seek a chance to ask Lille for permission to talk to the player before formalising any bid. This should not be an issue as another club are looking to do something similar this summer.}

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Morning Ed, if United did make an offer to Lille who do you see as the main/definite clubs to rival United's bid at this moment in time? Thanks.

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - Whilst Real Madrid or Barcelona remain his preferred destination PSG, Chelsea, Spurs, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are all interested to one degree or another. I said over the summer that I would not be surprised to see Manchester United through their hat in to the ring with Hazard as well. Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest but one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem (primarily related to previously well-publised issues). However, Chelsea have recently discussed the player with Lille and a firm offer by Chelsea is still a possibility. Arsenal spoke with Lille before the last summer window and, I am told, proposed a "derisory number" and suggested taking the player would be a risk. Bayern Munich apparently remain very keen on Hazard but the player is seemingly not interested in a move to Germany. Inter would find the transfer fee too high and their only hope would be a part-ownership deal with some cash and a player or two moving to LIlle. Spurs are interested but may need the price to drop significantly to make a move viable. PSG would have the money available but again the player does not want such a move. I really don't see Hazard moving to Liverpool, Juventus, AC Milan or Arsenal for that matter, although with other clubs frustrated at his questionable attitude means it is getting harder to tell where he will end up so a move to pretty much anywhere cannot be completely ruled out. His constant speaking to the press and his recent statement that a move to England would be a stepping stone to Spain will make several clubs think twice about making an offer.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Ed, so although anywhere is still possible due to his debatable attitude, you think Chelsea are the more likely team at present? I know things change quickly and United, RM, Barcelona or City could come in at any time, but with Chelsea interested, Chelsea ready to part with the cash and Hazard happy to move to England, at this time Chelsea look best placed?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I think you must have read something different than I posted Syd: "one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem" so the concept of "more likely" is simply not possible to quantify. Are you having a soft brain day Syd?}

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL, I did read that, but Chelsea are still interested regardless so surely they are at least one of the favourites surely? Or is it because of the 'worry' about his attitude Chelsea are not willing to do a deal at the price Lille want? Therefore if Lille do not drop their price Chelsea will no longer be interested?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - It seems to be very complex inside your head this morning Syd. My recommendation is to accept the words as written and not try and make more of that there is.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, anyone who reads your first post will see that out of the team's currently interested, Chelsea are (currently) the team best placed to sign him. Arsenal, Inter & Spurs will not pay the money Lille want, Hazard doesn't want to move to PSG or Bayern so surely you can see that Chelsea are better placed than the others mentioned by what you wrote? I am not saying Chelsea will sign him or that none of the others will not sign him, just that Chelsea look best placed from what you wrote. Ideally Chelsea will pull out and we will enter negotiations, but still a lot of ifs and buts.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see and agree with Syd on the fact that Chelsea looks to be his most likely destination currently! It's news to me that he's just recently spoken to the media about 'England being a stepping stone to Spain'. I don't think SAF would be to please upon hearing that, although Ronaldo had similar ideas early on the fact Hazard has stated it to the media before a transfer has happened. The press will always be asking him about that while at United etc (if he came). Chelsea on the other hand need special players at the moment to get back to being a 'feared' team and Mr.Abramovich will have money to spend and will do so without hesitation after this seasons performances. Hazard like you guys mentioned, would not want a move to Germany, a different French team or even Italy. I think maybe in England, surely Spurs would be considered? We know they will want to spend money to keep up with other top teams and i reckon a few players could be leaving at the end of this season. But then again i think after it looking more likely that Adebayor wont stay with them next season, a striker would be their priority? Loic Remy to throw a name out there!
