My observation. . . His 6 month ban will be up by then and the board have said that the will let fergie have input into the new manager, just a thought! !

Friend of the family works for a Spanish newspaper and it appears that Utd actually did talk with Barca about Xavi this summer!
*What are other united fans thoughts on this? I can't help but think that as world class as Xavi is, it wouldn't have been a prudent move by the club. He wouldve cost us atleast £25million but he is 29-30yrs old. Sure he can probably play at the top for another 6 years but i would much rather see that amount spent on the Jack Rodwells or Gareth Bales of this world.
I honestly can't see Man Utd spending £25 million on a player of his age, world class as he is. Like I have said on here on numerous occasions, I personally think AF missed the boat on VDV and Joe Cole this summer. VDV especially. Just my opinion though.
