Ed, isn't Barcelona seriously interested in Jordi Abla? I can't see him wanted to move abroad if Barca are looking at him. With Coentrao only recently signing for RM, and doing very well i cannot see him moving anywhere. Are city not too impressed with Kolarov and Glichey at the mo then?
Ozwald {Ed002's Note - Alba there is little on in terms of interest from Barcelona and speculation only about interest from the Manchester based clubs. I would hazard a guess he could spend his near-term career in Spain - certainly he could well worry about the impact on his international prospects. I appreciate that Coentrao has only moved recently but Manchester City have expressed an interest.}

I read so many rumours here about Ozil having problem at RM but couldnt find anything regarding this anywhere else. Dont think Ozil will go anywhere, he is one of the best in the world and RM should know that. If Gotze goes there, it would be to replace Kaka.

SUPPOSEDLY... United have agreed a deal to sign Jack Rodwell for 15 million and exchange of Biram Diouf. United also in the news for their interest in Gaitan, a 25 - 20 million deal is required, but PSG are also interested. Reports are saying terms have been agreed between United and Benfica and Gaitan will join in July. However PSG recent signing Pastore has recently claimed he wants to realise his dream and move to a bigger club, a mere four months after joinging the French Giants. is Gaitan a ready replacement for the Argentine Playmaker in The French Side and if so Is Pastore available again come january?
I am a united Fan and my view is that Rodwell is not good enough and I would rather see Huddlestone Come to United Instead of Rodwell. I believe Gaitan, Oezul, Pastore, Sneijder, Gotze, Modric are all to expensive for United and we wont buy big in January but may sell some dead weight. Owen, Macheda, Carrick, Evans. Funds will be made available At the end of the season but due to United losing cash from The champions league knockout, United will not be buying big in January but id say around 10 million would be made available for fergie to bolster if he needs to.

I dont know about zero chance. The likes of Pogba, Cleverly, Vermijl and Fryers are more the enough to take the place of Carrick and Evans. Cleverly is already better the Carrick and Vermijl and Fryers playing wingback will allow smalling to play center-back, Which in my opinion is his best position. United will sell some one in January.
Carrick wont be going anywhere. Also Evans is becoming more consistent and Fergie likes him so i doubt he'll be going anywhere either. The one person i could see leaving is Berbatov, but if it happens it will be his choice and not the clubs.

Vermijl isn't anywhere near good enough for the senior side. Fryers is no wing-back either as he isn't that effective going forward. Pogba will replace Carrick, but that won't be for another season yet. Carrick will be here for at least 18 months, especially as he has found his form over the past month or so. I am not sure why you think that it's unthinkable to have Pogba, Evans, Vermijl, Zeki, Cleverley & Carrick all here, it is a squad game after all.
The players who are likely to leave are the players who are struggling to get regular games when fit. Players like Gibson, Kuszczak, Berbatov, Diouf & Kiko.

Why wouldwe get rid of owen when hes on a pay as you play yearly contract? and carrick and evans wont go anywhere as we are plagued with injury in def and mid. macheda is surplus to requirement but if he goes anywhere it will be on loan.

I have rumours this morning both saying MUFC are going to sign Nicolas Gaitan in July 2012 and we might move in Jan for him, also saw that SAF is looking at Sami Khedira as he is out of favour at RM. Edd's do you know anything about this?
Also i saw that RM have given Mesut Ozil a ultimatum and liverpool are on the hunt... we wanted him a couple of years ago surely we would be interested in him at the right price?

According to dailymail united will sign nicolas gaitan next summer and according to Caughtoffside united will sign him in january which one is true ?United are also intrested in samir khedira {Ed002's Note - Manchester United and Barcelona are both interested in the winger but PSG may be the first to put an offer on the table. Asking price is an issue. My understanding is that Manchester United and PSG have spoken with Benfica but no bid has been made (as of December 15 morning). Barcelona are also interested but I suspect would like to wait until the summer. We should have an update later on Wednesday.}
