A possible transfer from David De Gea is still on the cards. Don't believe all this talk from him and his club about staying, it's just the usual nonsense.

Don't want to say that this transfer will definitely happen but there is a very high possibility of it to happen but just for the next season and not in january.

What does the Editor think about Schweinsteiger's future? {ed's note - I believe he is the replacement for Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid.}

@You could be right Ed, although Pastore is still on Real Madrid's cards and i doubt Jose will be allowed both? Could this open the door for United to move for either Pastore or Schweinsteiger? I know Pastore would cost 30m but its not as though we have not spent 30m on a player before is it? This time the player is just 21 and his resale value would be near that of Kaka's in his prime.

Palermo turned down a 21m offer for Pastore from Real Madrid and their president made this public knowledge so i believe is was trying to start a bidding war? I think 30m would me enough, that's €36m to minnows Palermo. Their whole club is not worth that amount.

Ed Fergie tried to sign Kaka when he was at AC Milan in his prime, he got knocked back by player and club so if he had a thing for Kaka then he must be looking at Pastore,

I can't see Kaka leaving though, Madrid's squad is very weak overall, they have little to no back up for the first team.}

They weren't letting go of hargreaves, were they? Who got the better of them in that bloody transfer saga? The more they come out in the press saying we want him to sign a new contract and he is not leaving etc. (without him actually have signed a contract) the more i see these statements as a sign of desperation and hopeless efforts to put pressure on his agent. Their current league position doesn't help either. They may be prepared to pay the wages but what he really wants is consistency in challenging for the top honors in the league and europe and also a good manager to work with. What better team to do that than man united?

We can certainly get him if we show even half the amount of interest we showed in hargreaves.

and this will all happen in january.

@Why would United sell Anderson? And for 8m, you are joking aren't you? Rodwell could be signed although it won't be in January, you are right about one thing, Cleverley is coming back in January.

Someone posted this on the main site which is worth sharing
"I work in the financial services industry & a former colleague of mine who now works for a bank has informed me that Man Utd have quoted for a forward contract of €20,000,000 to pay a German company. Make of it what you will, but here's to hoping it's for a certain pig mounter!"

I have dealt with forward contracts in the past but if I recall normally you have options to buy forward for a currency to fix the rate of exchange in future i.e. not at spot rate, however I don't believe you have to specify which country it is for, only the currency; so to me this is a little flawed. Anyone have more in depth knowledge ?

Manchester United midfielder Ji-Sung Park has emerged as a transfer target for Sevilla.Park, who has two-and-a-half years left on his United contract, is wanted by the Spanish club who are making a concerted effort to land the South Korea star.Sevilla technical director Victor Orta was in England last week to meet with Park's representatives, with a view to signing the 29-year-old in January, who joined United for £4million from PSV Eindhoven in 2005.Sevilla director of football, Ramon 'Monchi' Rodriguez, has been scouting Park for several months and the club are ready to test United's resolve to hold on to Park by making a bid.United are unlikely to offer Park another deal and may choose to cash in on him next month, although Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to wait until the end of the season before making a final decision on the player's future.
