Hello lads.

As it stands. anderson is going out. I m disappointed that he has not fulfilled his potential. I m a big admirer of his passing though. But rest of his game is never upto the mark in such long time. while scholes will move out again.
Near sources and some coaching staff is saying fergie has short listed 2 players to replace both and as it stands saf has won there signatures. One is strootmaan and the other is scholes moulde christen erriksen. He has high hopes with strootman and believed he is batter at this age than carrik was at then. Erriksen's movement and passing reminds him of young scholes.

I m happy to hear this story from some in knows. and wishing them to be true.

From what I've seen on tv Strootman would be a good buy. Less sure about Erikkson.

He is 'batter' alright.

Nobby.

In centre midfield I think Scholes and Anderson will go but only one coming in, Strootman according to many on here. Powell to step up with another signed when they give up on Fletcher.

ROONEY

There is no way Rooney will be a United player next year. On his salary, he would have to be an automatic choice for United to keep him.

United have always felt that, because of physical attributes, his best years would be before age 30. Some of his performances this year have proven this.

PSG want a "name" signing for 2 years, and he fits the bill. {Ed002's Note - PSG have a number of players they have particular interest in - Rooney is not one right now.}

If, in my place of work, I was the highest earner yet, chose to be absent from fullfilling my responsibilities - specifically as they employed another high ranked employee & i'd reverted to hiding within my shell (as opposed to rolling my sleeves up), i'd be either out the door or demoted.

Love Rooney, yet never had him down as a Mary Anne - c'mon Wayne, get in gear son!

Regardless of stature, you play for your place. From amateur sports up to professional & on current form he's lucky to make the bench. Much prefer a grafter to a nomad

Did you guys not see us against Chelsea in the FA Cup without Rooney? We looked a complete mess, Robin is quality but he can't help set the tempo like Rooney does when he drops back and creates space for others to move into. He is valuable, chances are his next contract's wages will be performance related so he earns his money, surely?

Again the other day when we played Stoke, Rooney in midfield made more passes and a higher success rate than Carrick who has been nominated for player of the season in that role. Yeah he has his bad games but not many players don't, it's just with him you notice it more because he's usually such a big influence.

He said in his recent book that he expects to move from being a forward to a midfielder in his career to accommodate his loss of speed and agility, isn't that what Paul Scholes did, turned out alright for him.

Yeah but Scholes did it at 14 so had plenty of time to adapot and get used to it. You can't do it at youur peak/ on the edge of declien. Hughes and McClair both tried it and flopped, and i've seen nothing so far that suggests Rooney could cut it in midfield either, 1 game against Stoke isn't any sort of proof.

Rooney
By far is my favourite player

Agree0 Disagree1

You think Rooney has only played one game in midfield? He played in the same role against Otelul Galati and also Everton. Its not going to happen just like that but he's got a good footballing brain, good range of accurate passes. The only player who could hit a 70yrd ball like Scholesy. Just needs to work on his positioning but then look at Carrick, at Spurs he was more of a CAM its only in his last few seasons he's become fantastic at breaking up play and controlling the tempo of the game, don't think it'll happen overnight with Rooney but that's the way he's heading it's obvious.

Ozwald

Ozwald you are stretching it mate. He can't play there because you need great control and touch in what is generally the most crowded space on the pitch. He is not going to suddenly find sublime touch and control at 28. He also will struggle for pace and lot's of guys will run past him.
