Cross Bale of the list he's signing a new contract.

Falcao, However is leaving Athletico Madrid been confirmed by the club, let the rumour mill start up again.

Andyp MUFC

Believable34 Unbelievable25

Falcao has said himself he is not leaving and monaco rumor have no ground as if it was for financial reasons why wouldn't he go to psg, man city or chelsea who have already established a firm competitive base and monaco have seemed to stall somewhat!
Jam

Agree1 Disagree1

Everyone knows Falcao will leave this summer, where to is the question. United are not in the running.

Sydney!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd be surprised if its not City

Melwing28

Agree0 Disagree1

Could this not be that, IF United did give AM money for first refusal on Falcao, it was because that they knew Rooney would be leaving this summer?

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't think we have first refusal on Falcao. Not at all. Think we've paid a fee to be kept aware if developments and be allowed to match terms of any bid before its a done deal. If Monaco agree a £60m fee tomorrow we could agree same figure with Athletico and be allowed to discuss personal terms with the player at same time as them.

Edd could u plaese give me a list of moyes transfer targets? {Ed004's Note - No and I doubt anyone could but him}

Believable13 Unbelievable13

20 May 2013 18:55:11
Ed what are the chances of United signing Marchisio? he'd be perfect for us!

Nat {Ed004's Note - I think very unlikely}

Believable6 Unbelievable23

20 May 2013 18:29:37
Ed do you think there's even a chance we would go in for Bale now?

Dan {Ed004's Note - Possibly}

Believable26 Unbelievable18

Possibly? Is he not welsh? Is giggs his hero! why would he NOT want a move to man utd! Thee most sucessful club in england I hasten to add? the only factor which may affect this is daniel 'bloody' levy!

Agree2 Disagree0

Now that spurs have failed to qualify for the champions league I think (as a United supporter) Man Utd will step up their interest and will be prepared to bid high against other power house like Real or Barca.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hasn't he just signed a contract extension?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's possible he won't want to move to Manchester because life in Madrid, and particularly the weather, may seem much more appealing.

Agree0 Disagree1

It's the independent reporting this contract extension, ABUs and London lovers I wouldn't take much notice of it until it's announced by Tottenham.

Dan

Agree1 Disagree0

Spurs are very good at using sections of the press to influence transfer dealings. I wouldn't be too surprised if this wasn't a pre-emptive shot in negotiations with potential suitors for Bale - "Look, we want to keep him, it's not a foregone conclusion he'll leave" etc, and then, afterwards "Well, look at what we offered him, he's a shark. "

Levy, as I've said before, is a very astute businessman. If somebody offers him £55m / £60m for Bale, he'll take it, on the basis that one bad injury could reduce his value by half that amount overnight.

Agree2 Disagree1

A new contract now means this could get sticky for any intrested parties give him an improved contract will act as a deterrent to intrested clubs or will it will act as a negotiation tool should a bid arrive. This ether way is typical of mister levy but I still think weather a new contract is signed or not bale will move this summer. He strikes me as a normal young guy an now has a young child a wife/girlfriend and a life in england now if he does want a big team wit champions league football an does not want to completely uproot his life he will play for another english team an I can't help but feel that we are head of the que

CAIN

Agree1 Disagree0

To the person who cited the good weather of madrid as a factor in bales decision have you never been to souyh wales he's use to the rain and cold
justpij

Agree1 Disagree0

The funny thing is, he doesn't actually want to join utd

Agree0 Disagree2

Justpij

I grew up with fine drizzle most days. Doesn't mean I wouldn't move somewhere sunny given the chance.

No name

I think he'll join Madrid, but just because he's once said he wouldn't join us, it doesn't mean he won't. He's hardly going to say he loves us and wants to join us while he's at Spurs, is he?

Agree1 Disagree0

Justpij

I actually live in South Wales now and know all about rain. Not many people here would give up the chance to live somewhere that's sunny and warm instead of here or in Manchester. He's a young man with the world at his feet and lots of factors will influence his decision as to where he plays.

Edd 004: kurt zoumas agent has said his client would welcome a move to Liverpool do you wrecking we could step up our interest as I know he has been on our radar.
Cheers
Dc {Ed004's Note - Possibly I wouldn't be surprised if we did}

Believable9 Unbelievable7

Ed do you think Ronaldo will come home

CAIN {Ed004's Note - Not this year unfortunately}

Agree0 Disagree1

Kurt zouma has an easy choice to make! I know i'm bias but its a defo easy decision to make!

I've just had an Evertonian customer come in who apparently knows some people at Everton. He said they are expecting United to come in for Fellaini.

He doesn't have any links with United but Everton are apparently expecting us to bid for him.

Believable34 Unbelievable19

Well of coarse they would. Dosn't mean we are going to though. It is common practice for managers to want players from their old clubs. Moyes has a much bigger pool of players to look at now so there may be no Everton players coming our way.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have never met an Evertonian yet who doesn't claim to know some people at the club. This is then used to back up some wild claim that's come to him in a dream.

My bet is that this is all being fed by Felani's agent who wants a big payday. A bit like when Joey Barton was linked with all top four clubs in England before being handed to QPR for free

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellainis agent is his dad, a complete gobby person by all accounts
Cheeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines will be only Everton player. Fabregas and Bale to sign

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see Baines coming in if Evra does move back to France. Baines would be a good addition, great attitude and footballing ability so why not.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not a real brain teasing revelation, we need a strong mid fielder, plus the player can walk soon. AND. MOYES loves him.

I bet the bookies odds are poor.

Bale looked fed up yesterday u watch rooney stay
when Bale signs for us in July!!

Bfro

Believable27 Unbelievable27

LOL.

Rooney is being nudged out, the club are not begging him to stay.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree0

The only way we would have any chance of signing bale is if rooney was to leave. We would need his transfer fee an savings on his wage to be able to entice spurs to make a deal happen. But i'm sure levi won't deal wit us again unless we give in to his lotto numbers in which he expects for the likes of bale. He should put in a request to leave it would still be very expensive but what a catch

CAIN {Ed004's Note - My issue with signing bale is depending on transfers we need a left back, 2 centre mids and atleast one forward player possibly 2 if Rooney leaves. So Bale would take a massive amount of the budget. Though Rooney, Nani, Anderson, Evra and Young IMO would raise a good amount}

Agree0 Disagree0

Bale wasnt fed up, he was gutted! He will NOT be joining united! There are four factors why he will not join! 1, if he goes its to madrid 2, he doesn't want to leave 3avb doesn't want him to leave & 4 levy won't sell him!

Agree0 Disagree1

Ed004 I can't see Evra or Young going this summer and we'll be lucky to find anyone to buy Anderson {Ed004's Note - Unfortunately I agree}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree ed but if it became known tat he was to leave it would be foolish not to snatch him up. Midfeild needs sorting as does left back an if I had my way I would try get lewandowski baines bale strootman an bring in Powell to fill out tge Midfeild I know most peopke want to loan him out but the best experience is first team wit united not off the bench wit a championship side an I for one think he is up to the task

CAIN

Agree0 Disagree1

Give Rooney to Tottenham, they can pay him the supposedly 170k a week that Bale's going to be offered in the mean time we pay a little extra, sign Bale. happy days. Spurs fans won't be too hard done by if they sign Rooney.

Ozwald {Ed004's Note - Would Rooney want to move to a side no competing in the Champions League though?}

Agree1 Disagree1

I'm hoping Moyes will use the opportunity to clear out players who aren, 't up to utd standard. young, nani, Anderson, macheda, bebe, Fabio, valencia, lindegaard.

I agree with ed 004 in that we need to buy a left back and two midfielders, but also two wingers.

for me, cleverley, evra, rooney and well beck have one more year to prove they can still play to the standard required at Manchester utd.

Andrew b {Ed004's Note - I disagree with Rooney and Evra also Valencia who I think deserves another season at the club}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Andrew is forgetting this is a squad game. If it wasn't for our deep squad we wouldn't have won the league this season.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree0

Rooney's already in a snit as he lost his place upfront to van persie and in the hole to kagawa. If and its a massive if we signed bale that's another position for rooney blocked. What would we do stick him at left back? Agree Ed we need about four to six players in but its too much all in one summer both financially and in terms of disrupting the team. I think it'll be half now and half next summer. So what do you prioritise? MrE {Ed004's Note - One left back, one midfielder and Rooney's replacement and maybe one more signing. I'd love Baines, Strootman, Bale and one of Bender/Gundogan, Sanchez/Isco or Lewandowski (Only if Hernandez leaves)}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the Rooney situation will be sorted out before the transfer window re-opens and I hope he changes his mind there is no better place for him to play and I am shore we will sign Bale early on in the summer along with Felliani Baines and Zaha already signed if we get these three in we will have a much better team than this year on paper anyway. Felliani the midfield general we have needed Bale will be in the top three players in world football for years to come can't think of anyone I would prefer than Bale Felliani and Baines they all tick the boxes and will greatly improve us were we need it. Katef

Agree0 Disagree5

No winger ed? As we don't have a single top quality winger I'd prioritize that over even cm, as we at least have Carrick there, with clevs coming on nicely.

Let Nani and tony go, young as backup, Zaha to get some time rotating to keep players fresh and bring in 2 wingers, that would do nicely. Add a cm or two, and either keep Rooney or get a replacement (i'd keep personally), we're in business.

Thorne

Agree0 Disagree0

Who the hell is this Spurs fan that keeps commenting on any Bale related post here? Stop worrying you can't do anything about it, whether he joins us or not. The fact you feel the need to consistently come on here to say he isn't moving shows you're obviously insecure about the whole thing. Stick to the spurs page.

Dan

Agree3 Disagree0

Why would he stay because of another signing. He said the club lacked ambition the last time he wanted to go. We got the best striker in England to join us so it is not ambition that we lack. He needs a new challenge and I feel we need to let him go. We spend a lot on his wages and I don't feel that can be justified anymore. If we can get a good price for him then use the money to attempt a big signing ie Bale. Sadly Rooney is not the player he once was if only he was more like Giggs we would still have a gem.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - Would Rooney want to move to a side no competing in the Champions League though?}Why not? If he dosn't sort himself out he won't be playing in the Champions League even if he stays {Ed004's Note - The man appears to have a big ego and high opinion of himself so I honestly can't see him not wanting to play against the best}

Agree1 Disagree0

Kate, your naivety is frightening. You could be a very disappointed fan come September.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree0

Could be syd but she is takin a stab at what will happen an in fairness she has good points so if she is right I hope you say sorry because what she is saying is a realistic outcome like it or not

CAIN

Agree1 Disagree1

CAIN, so you think Bale is realistic do you?

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree1

Cain off emmedale

Agree1 Disagree0

30m + Rooney?

Agree0 Disagree1

Ed004, it seems that Rooney is more annoyed that he has to put 100% in to get in the team, he wants the transfer because he's been subbed in most of the games in the second part of the season because quite frankly he's lacked fitness and motivation.

I know he won't actually go to Spurs but I hope that if he doesn't see sense, doesn't sort himself out and we do sell him, that the money is spent on Bale because he is without a doubt the most dangerous player in the Prem. Mata is fantastic, obviously we know RvP is dangerous, Hazard is individually great too but Bale is the one player that can consistently create something out of nothing. IMO he should be our top target this summer.

Ozwald {Ed004's Note - I agree Bale is a fantastic player but I can't help but think the money could be spent better. For example the cost of Bale would near enough buy you Di Maria, Isco/Sanchez and Gundogan.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical utd your not playing football manager on the xbox besides he says one day he would like to play abroad

Agree0 Disagree3

I think we will see Sydney remember when I told you it would be Moyes and not Jose like you were saying it would be. All the signings I have said have plenty of real facts behind them like Baines and felliani already worked for Moyes and Bale will be our big signing I think more likely him than Ronaldo anyway let's see before ya start calling people names Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets see Sydney you been saying Lewendowski and Di Maria I have been saying Bale Baines and Felliani let's see who gets things right. Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

Kate, I have have been saying Lewandowski and more recently Di Maria because we have a huge interest in both. We had huge interest in Baines last season (hope we still do). I have said it's highly likely Fellaini will be of interest to Moyes and wouldn't be surprised to see interest shift from Strootman to Fellaini. The player I think you are dreaming about is Bale. I do not think we will go for Bale as we have shown no interest.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kate, calling you names? I wouldn't dream of it ;)

I never believed Jose would be the next manager, I thought it would be Pep and it may well have been if he never decided to join BM.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope my predictions on the transfers are correct and not dreams we would be a much stronger team with Bale than Lewandowski who is very good but not as good as RvP Bale is better than anything outside Messi and Ronnie and younger than both, he is the right player to go for no matter the cost and I think we have the cash for him Baines and Felliani so explain how its naïve to think we would go for a player of his calibre we are UNITED and we do things our way the right way was it in your opinon that I was being naïve when I said months ago it would be Moyes or just good old common sense. Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

Rooney is obviously having trouble realizing which side his bread is buttered.
