SAF has been watching Garay of Benfica. Rumours suggest that £15m bid could be made for the centre-back in January.

Kevin Strootman is another name being linked with United in January aswell.

Believable14 Unbelievable15

£15m is too much for Garay

Agree1 Disagree0

Strootman's off to Milan....and a steel at less than £10m

Agree0 Disagree0

Garay wasn't good enough for Real Madrid, so, he isn't good enough for us. Also, at his age, he would have to be a far better player than he is for us to show interest.

Forgot to put name again!

Hi Ed? What do you think that Sir Alex would consider if Senijder would be available for low as 15m GBP ?

Aly {Ed002's Note - His wages.}

Believable4 Unbelievable19

There were also strong rumours that last time we were in serious discussions with him he wanted a private plane to fly him home after matches. SAF gave him a short response on this demand!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, is there anyone out there that would pay his reported wages of 200k.

Shahram {Ed002's Note - Yes, but there remain other potential options that may be attractive.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Any chance of getting him on loan?

Damian M {Ed002's Note - I would doubt it.}

Just read that Malaga have been banned by UEFA for entering the next European competition they qualify for for one season and potentially longer if their debts are not paid.

Would love United to take advantage of this and go in for Isco and Camacho. Surely a great opportunity to get these players as they would I imagine want European football.

To be honest I'm really hoping we sign Isco next summer,he's available at a great price and is a fantastic versatile attacker and all round player.does Sydney or anybody else know of we are still watching him with interest?thanks guys

Agree0 Disagree0

I expect Malaga to appeal this and be successful as the punishment is ridiculous so if they come it won't be for that reason.

Wow, Fergie says that Giggs can play on for two more years. What is wrong with the man.

Fresh!

Believable42 Unbelievable8

Alzheimers he can only remember when Giggs was good. ;)

Mad Hatter

Agree2 Disagree0

Complete bs if you ask me, we need a new manager if he offers them contract extensions. No one out of the top 30 clubs in europe would even consider them as viable.

Agree1 Disagree1

Trust his judgement or dont support united

Agree1 Disagree2

Complete nonsense statement from no name. Why should fans trust SAF's judgement and who do you think you are telling people not to support United ? I will continue to question SAF's judgement every time he plays Scholes and Giggs. They are well past their best and should retire now, regardless of whether they are club legends. Every time they play, the team looks vulnerable due to their age. Suggest you think for yourself, form your own opinions and don't always blindly trust the judgement of others. This is an opinions forum.

According to football site fichajes.net, Milan are close to reaching a £6.5m deal for Strootman..

this has to be bull....

does anyone have any info on this and our current level of interest in the player please? {Ed002's Note - You were to of Milan's interest months ago.}

Believable1 Unbelievable25

If he is going for 6m then we must go for him, he is better than giggs, scholes, fletcher... maybe even anderson and cleverley..

no value in the market apparently..

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we did go for him but he chose otherwise?

I'd rather have Fletcher. He's been loyal to us all his career, and I respect that.

Agree0 Disagree3

Id be loyal to united, id even play for free, doesn't mean im good enough..

Agree2 Disagree0

Strootman is a player we have looked at extensively so unless we have decided on another player or Strootman has chosen AC, then I think we may go toe to toe with AC for him this winter.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather have Fletcher because he is loyal. What a load of crap that is.
I cannot believe that you have just posted that.
If that's the case give Scholes and Giggs new 5 year deals then.
Unbelievable!

You cant afford to be sentimental at a club like Utd. That is becoming the problem and has been for a while.

Ed, is it true that we have secured a deal to bring Lewandowski at the end of the season? {Ed002's Note - There can be no pre-contract before January but it seems perfectly possible that there will be then.}
