SAF has been watching Garay of Benfica. Rumours suggest that £15m bid could be made for the centre-back in January.

Kevin Strootman is another name being linked with United in January aswell.

£15m is too much for Garay

Strootman's off to Milan....and a steel at less than £10m

Garay wasn't good enough for Real Madrid, so, he isn't good enough for us. Also, at his age, he would have to be a far better player than he is for us to show interest.

From reports It looks like we wont get isco or sneijder but looks lik we sealed strootman and nani is going to inter also Ed do you think Rodriguez would com if Porto are knocked out early of the champions league also do whe have interest for schienstieger. {Ed002's Note - The window will be shut by the start of the CL.}

Just read that Malaga have been banned by UEFA for entering the next European competition they qualify for for one season and potentially longer if their debts are not paid.

Would love United to take advantage of this and go in for Isco and Camacho. Surely a great opportunity to get these players as they would I imagine want European football.

To be honest I'm really hoping we sign Isco next summer,he's available at a great price and is a fantastic versatile attacker and all round player.does Sydney or anybody else know of we are still watching him with interest?thanks guys

I expect Malaga to appeal this and be successful as the punishment is ridiculous so if they come it won't be for that reason.

According to football site fichajes.net, Milan are close to reaching a £6.5m deal for Strootman..

this has to be bull....

does anyone have any info on this and our current level of interest in the player please? {Ed002's Note - You were to of Milan's interest months ago.}

If he is going for 6m then we must go for him, he is better than giggs, scholes, fletcher... maybe even anderson and cleverley..

Strootman is a player we have looked at extensively so unless we have decided on another player or Strootman has chosen AC, then I think we may go toe to toe with AC for him this winter.
