I heard an incredibly stupid rumour that Pep Guardiola was assessing the managerial status at Manchester United and Manchester City. I don't believe this because it would be stupid to get rid of Van Gaal now considering he has only had one season. I just wanted these rumours to be confirmed as false.

Think he's said in the past that he'd like to manage United in the future. I think what these rumours are hinting at is that he is looking at the possibility of taking over after Van Gaal, maybe not straight away. I think he knows that if he ever managed City, he'd unlikely be able to switch to United after.

Argentinian site Ole.com reckons United has a deal for Otamendi's contract, probably still to sort the 50m euro transfer out.

Reports are saying Sterling is not on Manchester Uniteds radar

Gareth bale is not on Uniteds radar at the moment, although if madrid give any impression that they are willing to sell bale then United will do whatever it takes to get him to old Trafford

I doubt we will go for Bale, he'll stick at Madrid another year I think.

We Have Depay, Januzaj, Di Maria, Young and Mata all for the wings, that's plenty in my opinion.

For me Mata is not an option on the wing far to slow and doesn't get behind the defence which is why we struggled to create chances. All out great team wer built with pace and power down both flanks and with Depay signing and talk of bake it stirling it look alike that's the way we are looking to go. mata needs to be playing Central where he can cause more problems with his passing and movement.

Sorry did u say mata doesn't get behind the defence he's scored majority of his goals by getting behind the defence he's not quick but he times his runs well!

I meant he doesn't go down the wing passed a player most of his time is spent drifting into a more central position. Can't remeber him going past someone to the byline. We are very one sided when it comes to crossing from deep positions only really happensdown youngs flank. Valencia rarely takes a man on either and when he does his cross is a hard low ball in. Valencias pace and strength with mata's technical ability would be a dream

No no no Ed, I think as Bale is Welsh they want to be paid in leek, the national vegetable. Wouldn't 1 leek be a world record leek deal?
