I did say a few weeks back Lucas Piazon would be an amazing player, i know it's match of the day but already he threaded a beautiful through ball to ramires's goal. We need to allow our youngsters to show their worth for 20 minutes in games though, we don't want to lose them to other clubs, let Powell come on here and there.

Powell is nowhere near Piazon's standard, Chelsea, City - Guidetti, Suarez -Liverpool - Suso, Sterling, Wisdom, Yesil etc - and even clubs like tottenham all have better academy players coming thru, we lost pogba and morrison, not that he'll go far with his attitude

We never know though, maybe letting the kids have a taste for 15 minutes when we are 3-0 up against Sunderland instead of bringing on some old guard, would be much more productive.

First poster, what do you mean academy players coming through then mention Suarez, and Suso with Liverpool? Neither of which came through their academy.

Powell is a super gifted player. Him and Petrucci i think are the two players that NEED to be thrown into first team games more often. With you on this one Jakey boy.

Cheers Ozwald! Yes if we need some midfielders to come on to add some energy in the last 15 minutes, we have Powell, Petrucci and Tunniclife who can all show they're worth surely?

Also instead of playing Carrick at CB why not Michael Keane, City are letting Rekik play, he is 18 and starting over Lescott, he did a good job as well.

Agree, give them 20 minutes to get first team football and see what they can bring to our game.

Sterling also came from another club to Liverpool. He was in their youth system for like 2 years. Barely a real youth product.

United has the best academy in the league. Chelsea 2nd best. Piazon came from brazil for lots of money.

its a sensible question. I'd sell him in the summer, his fitness has gone might as well get what we can and get some big wages off the bill too. Get in a younger better player.

Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus and Spurs have shown an interest in Isco and he came close to a move to Dortmund, who may still follow up the matter. Chelsea had someone watch Isco in a recent game against Granada I suspect AC Milan might look to the player as well. There were rumours of interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal. Malaga want 21M euros but will likely accept 15M euros if they are forced to sell - and they don't want to. I would suspect Juventus and Manchester City are best placed right now. A move in January is by no means certain as Malaga are looking to have Isco sign a new contract.}

Dont think teams "steal" targets mate, they just happen to be interested in the same player as one another and will obviously try and persuade the player to join them rather than anyone else...

Neither Madrid nor barca shown any interest in isco, so it makes u wonder why?! {Ed004's Note - As Ed 2 said Barcelona have? Madrid have enough players for the role he plays. Kaka, Ozil, Modric, Callejon etc and more can play were Isco does.}

We are only interested once their value goes over 30 million pounds and nothing less than that.
