Long time reader and posted a few times in the past on the main website in the past.
My reliable sources inform me that there will be no signings this window, nor will any loan players be recalled. I was also told that Fergie said in his programme notes yesterday that this was the case - can someone clarify?
In the summer however, big changes are afoot. Edwin Van der Sar and Gary Neville will retire and Wes Brown and Michael Owen will be released. Owen Hargreaves' future is still under consideration with the very slim possibility of a pay-as-you-play deal being mooted, but my source does not believe this will come off. Tomasz Kuszczak, Ritchie de Laet and Darron Gibson will all probably be moved on as well. Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs will continue, and Patrice Evra will not be sold.
In terms of bringing in players, expect to see the long-heralded arrival of Steven Defour from Standard Liege, as well as reinforcements in the shape of Craig Gordon (Sunderland) and Ashley Young (Aston Villa), proven Premiership players who will add depth to the squad. Reports of Benzema/De Gea/Busquets are wide of the mark.

Tim Howard to return to united in the summer. Talks underway. Uniteds goalkeeping coach spotted Howard when he was in the states and united now see him as no 1 material with plenty of premier league experience. And he is affordable'
@Tim Howard makes howler after howler mate. He may save a few penalties but he gives most of them away in the first place. I do rate him but he is no better now than what he was when he left us.

To clear a few things up.
‚ĢAguero's Buy-Out is £38m not 35 or 45.
‚ĢTorres will not join United, out of Gratitude for Liverpool FC, but will most likely go to Spain, but would not go to Real Madrid (as some are suggesting) out of respect to Athletico Madrid.
‚ĢRooney will not be leaving Manchester United. Don't even know why anybody would want to sell him? Even for 50m, I don't know why.
‚ĢKrancjar will not be joining Manchester United, full stop.
‚ĢAn interesting point made was that if those who bought G+G scarves, T-Shirts etc. were to have bought normal scarves from the Megastore then it would have went towards paying off the debt.
‚ĢRed Knights taking over would have been Disastrous for Manchester United, most likely Debts in excess of £1.2bn.
‚ĢDarren Bent £24m is not Crazy at all. If £50m is being banded about for Rooney then why is Bent's equal goal tally (thanks to Man City) not worth Half of Rooney's price.?

That is why Alex Ferguson said he would like to bring in one player this window because Chelsea made a move on Sanchez they plan to replace Owen with him our new no7. Thats all people you will not hear from me again.

Man Utd will sign David de Gea to replace Van der sar in summer deal is done with him and his agent this is very reliable so all talk more goalkeepers is rubbish.
Also they will try to replace Scholes with Luka Modric the deal will happen if Tottenham don't get Champions league football if not Man Utd will sign someone else don't know who this is very reliable because United want Modric.
Patrice Evra is not leaving Man Utd he will sign new contract in summer also very reliable he wants a better contract.
Rooney not leaving at meeting he was promised United would spend big in summer also very reliable information.
I said the other day Man Utd would try and sign Sanchez before window shuts this was to happen if Chelsea bid would get him they would act on it the deal is done for summer united want him then.

SAF still wants Benzema and money being saved for him in Summer.
Player he thought he'd got was Defour. Now on for summer.
Rooney offski in the summer- we as a club didn't promise him big signings we promised him just like we did with Ronaldo that if you give us another year we will then let him go.
He was happy to sign new contract coz put him on more money for now and both he and Utd benefit from the big Transfer in summer.
SAF retiring in next 18mths that's what he's told Gill. So could be this summer.
