I think young signing is a gud one for 16 mil? Back to gud old fashioned wing play wiv toni on right like wiv becks n giggs! Rony was a special forward player neva jst a winger. Sanchez luks like he cud b special but he choose barca! I think modric is the player we NEED so sir alex shud realy try. Id like ninis??? Pogba ando cleverly fletch carrick r all gud players n morison luks special so two more buys n we b gettin 20 ? We've got a gud settled squad while our rivals r overhauling! P.s nani shud b given 1 more season to get consistant! United99

Three signings:
-Hazard
-Young
-DeGea

+ Jones, Torres (caused by other interest)

Young to play more central, with Nani, Valencia and Hazard rotating on the wing.

Ashley Young and who next

He wasnt my first choice however it is a logical choice. He offers something similar to Valencia and can do it on the left which means we will have more balance than before. He does work back and is less likely to be as profligate as Nani can be. Young had the second highest assist numbers over the last five years not half a season like Nani. So as I said Nani had a good first half of the season but started running down blind alleys and trying to cut back in to shoot too much. So I can see Young and Valencia playing but Nani not being first choice which could well mean he will leave.
I remain convinced that Berbatov should leave which to me leaves us needing a central midfield player and a striker. A striker because Hernandez still has some work to do and as he is still playing for Mexico is going to need a rest or face burn out, plus we dont have many options of a good enough similar style player if he is out. I am not convinced we can rely on Welbeck so my hope is Higuain or as an outside choice Danny Sturridge.

The midfield player is what we are all waiting for. We have a couple of very useful kids in central midfield but they are a couple of years away and there is no guarantee they will both make it.
Young had the second highest number of assists in the Premier League over the last 5 years, who has the highest number? Cesc Fabregas. There may be an opportunity whilst Barcelona seek Sanchez and Rossi. The main point with Cesc is that he has to clear his head of Barcelona altogether as we do not want it to crop up again in 12 months. If he can do that and we can agree something with Arsenal I remain convinced he is the ideal option for our midfield. I can already hear the injury excuse being trotted out. However he played for Arsenal because they were desperate, he was desperate to win games. He is experienced in the premier league, young and creates goals.

So for me Fabregas and Higuain/Sturridge , then with Morrison breaking through this season I hope, bring on Barcelona.

is there any truth in this KAKA rumour? ive heard a lot about it and hes still got something left in him but not for any more than £20million though. He hasn't passed it as everyone says hes just had less chances at Madrid as they have given Di Maria, Ozil etc extra playing time

SAF has found the perfect replacement for Giggs. Lewis Holtby a now German player who could have represented England but Capello didnt pick him up early enough. Anyways SAF has decided to sign this promising youngster from Shalke 04 starting with a £16m bid.

Jones and Young done. De Gea is coming as a.t madrid are lining up a move for Thibaut Courtois as a replacement. wont expect any bids for Rodwell , A.O.C etc unless another club puts a bid in like the jones situation. eric torres will be bid for and if succesful will go out on loan. berbatov to leave and hopefully replaced by benzema or higuain as real look for more strikers after securing neymar. ideally would want wesley S but his demands are ridiculous, modric wont be coming i think he will stay at spurs another year. pastore would be a great signing also de rossi. lass diarra i think would be a big mistake..comes with ALOT of baggage and not worth the hassle. In my opinion i want nani gone and sanchez in his place. also we need a player that will be in the first 11 who can take free kicks ! since ronny weve been missing a good set piece player and losing out on vital goals.

As Berbatov is going out looks like SAF is set to go for former Reall Madrid striker Huntelaar. Huntellar also being tracked by Tottenham. Hes more likely to go to Spurs as there is a guaranteed starting place there, and not even a guaranteed bench place here. PRice was being reported at about £8m

SAF sais he was bringing in 3 players. Jones and Young now signed. De Gea almost signed (hopefully). However, Jones was not planned as his hand was forced by liverpool. That leaves one more! Hopefully a quality creative CM.

Kaka rumours are just terrible. At least make a rumour make it believable. For some reason, we all knew that Scholes was leaving real soon but i don't know why we'd be looking this late.

Sneijder- Miracle if we get him now
Diarra- Last card signing
Hazard- Ideal choice. SAF can develop him real well.

Ashley Young £15m, Watford have £800k of that fee!

Phil Jones in, David de Gea to follow on July 1st or 2nd!

All good young signings who have many years still on the clock. SAF wanted our age to creep down a little, although I suspect he may opt for value and experience for his next midfield signing.

Kaka to be at united by 28th June, Year loan with option to buy at the end. Diarra also following him by start of July
-----------------------------------------------------
Kaka on loan? What a load of rubbish! Why would Madrid loan him out for a year (meaning he'd be 30 and less valuable next summer) when they could just sell him now. If he's not in JM's plans then I'm pretty sure he will go somewhere this summer - but it wont be to United (as much as I'd like to see him at OT).

Diarra looks increasingly possible which is unfortunate as he's not very good. I'd sooner we signed Charlie Adam which says a lot about my opinion of Diarra.

If we purchase anyone from Madrid I'd like to see it be one of Benzema or Higuain. It's looking very likely that Neymar will be heading to RM (especially after Pele said it was the right move to make) and there's still a good chance that Aguero will make the move across Madrid as well.

That would surely leave one of Benzema and Higuain available? They're both great players who are pretty much the same age (9 days in it!). Higuain has a great scoring record in La Liga whilst Benzema has as of late failed to recapture the kind of performances in the orange league that saw him move to RM (although he has a great record in the champions league).

From what I have heard JM is not a great fan of Benzema (which was indicated by the loan signing of Adebayor last season) and as we all know Sir Alex is a long term admirer. Part of me wonders whether he might snub us for Arsenal if he were to be made available - but I would welcome him or Higuain gladly to Old Trafford.

Manchester United's two midfield berths are expected to be filled next season by promising youngsters Paul Pogba and new signing Phil Jones.

The departures of Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves has left room for the young starlets to occupy and the feeling within the camp is that these two players are ready to fill in the gaps.

Youngster Pogba, a United academy player, reportedly said
" I am ready. I am ready to summon the spirit of Drogba if it means that I get to play in the first eleven"

Manchester United negotiate with players and focus on that signing until they get him. It usually takes a week unless it turns into a transfer saga like Alexis Sanchez, who will not be joining us, we have 4 good wingers so there no room for any more.
Phil Jones negotiations took a week then he signed.
Ashley Young negotiations took a week then he signed.
David De Gea is due back after Saturdays final and negotiations will take a week and he will sign on Friday the 1st of July. That leaves 2 months to get a Midfielder and United will look into that after July 1st

Any word on De Gea 2 sign after the U-21 tournament?

{Ed019's Note - Most reckon De Gea hasn't signed for one of two reasons. Either he wants to wait untill the u-21's is out of the way. Or else he has to wait till Jorge Mendes becomes his agent on the 1st of July, personally I think it's the latter.

He's not getting many games at madrid and with real looking set to sign some new players in his position it looks like he'll get even less games next season. A spanish buddy for De Gea maybe. any news on Javier Pastore do we have any intrest ? {Ed002's Note - Pastore may well be moving this summer - it seems to be on/off week-by-week. Palermo is a difficult club to deal with (to say the least) and money is not something they are short of. They crave success and I would not be surprised to see him stay another season. Juventus have been knocked back with their standard offer of ‚Ǩ20m in cash plus Raffaelle Palladino, Amauri and Sebastian Giovinco in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership as part of the deal. Chelsea are looking for a long-term replacement for Lampard and Manchester United are looking for a long-term replacement for Scholes. He is certainly not top of Chelsea's transfer list but they will keep a watching brief. The rejected bid that was publicised was certainly from Manchester City. Liverpool had shown an interest before Christmas but will struggle with the price - which if he is sold is likely to be the highest of the summer. Atletico Madrid are also interested buy I suspect that they will be priced out of the market.The fee will be in the region of £50M or a part ownership deal may well be negotiated. If I had to suggest a destination Barcelona, one of the Milanese clubs (but they have potential non-EU player quota issues) or an outside chance of Chelsea.}

Just wondering if anybody else is thinking that the signings of jones and young, and our interest in players like chamberlain etc. Is down to the bristish player to foreign player ratio rule, seeing as Giggs will be retiring soon, Scholes has reitred, Neville retired, Hargreaves looking likely to reitiring or leaving. All being british players, surely we need to bring in new british players. Seems its more of a need and a must to bring in the best british talent, so hopefully we may see some decent foreign players arriving aswell.

The current Sanchez speculation can only be good news for United if it's true. If he has said no to City it's not only good news that a rival isn't getting a top talent but also a win for football. Obviously he's going to get a big contract whoever he goes to but i think it shows he isn't a mercenary who is only looking for money. He clearly wants success aswell. Hopefully we can get him because he could be sensational but I still think Barca are favourites.

regards varane in my opinion he would have been better off going to paris. More playing time and would have formed a good partnership with sakho. Only the other week he was saying he'd only move to play not bench warm then he goes and signs for madrid so he's a hypocrite. And any frenchman that madrid wants will sooner or later find zidane on their doorstep. So should we employ beckham in a similar role? High profile every player knows him he could help sell the club. I know some would suggest scholes but think he's happier coaching. And giggs will coach too. So maybe beckham working with sir bobby as club ambassador and eventually taking over. Let face it sooner or later it'll be sir david.

Possibly, the poilitcs behind this move are terrible, but i think Pozzo might be to greedy and end up shooting himself in the foot. Wouldnt suprise me. they will either have to take less than they want or the player stays and moves next summer for less again. Thoughts?

Sanchez is a straight fight between Barca and United. Barca are currently 10 mill short (offered 17 mill cash and Jeffren valued at 10mill), if they cant find a makeweight or the extra cash then United will swoop.
Player doesnt want Citeh so its irrelevant what they offer.
United arent out of it and for those saying hes a winger? Like Young he can play out wide but like young he is extremely versatile and that is the kind of player SAF wants {Ed002's Note - It is not simply between Manchester United and Barcelona.}

As fans I think we all like to dream, but sometimes we need a dose of realism. We are not going to sign Sanchez or Sneijder or any other player whose clubs are asking 30M plus. The transfer policy is clear, talented young players who can be bought for sensible money on sensible wages who retain sell on value...

I would be surprised if we sign a Centre mid like Sneijder, look at Fergie's team history the creation in the team comes from out wide up front with the midfield being solid rather than creative.
