Watching the PSG vs Marseille game and Lucas really does look the part we missed out but maybe for the money he is a little over priced. add the fact that Zaha is a third of the price do you think the money differance will now help us or do you think we would of been better of with Lucas. I am glad we have Zahe and the 24m extra. Katef

But only if the "spare £24m" is used in other areas. Else I would want Moura ahead of Zaha.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree3

The lad wanted more money and decided to play for a middle of the road club in a crap league.
Best place for him the greedy little sh*t!

I would take psg over united if I was 18. more game time. Even though i'm a united fan {Ed002's Note - And of course they offered an acceptable amount to teh club he played for - which MU didn't.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Oh please behave, you would pick PSG over United?
So he wouldn't have got a game for United, we were prepared to pay 30 million pounds for him, what so they were going to leave the kid on the bench, somehow I don't think so.

People will judge zaha on the fact that he plays for palace, but if you put palace against Sao Paolo it would be a close game

Agree3 Disagree0

I'd rather have all the money and no Zaha.

Sorry, just laughed myself a hernia at Sao Paolo vs palace being a close game.

What do people think of the rumours about Real Madrid wanting Chicharito? I love the kid, his personality, work rate and finishing are fantastic. However he could demand a large bid and it would make it something United would have to at least consider. i'd be pretty strongly opposed, but the fact remains that he hasn't yet developed into an all around striker and might not develop beyond an effective sub. I wouldn't sell him if given the decision, but I'd be curious if any of you would, and what price you would expect. -KG

Believable5 Unbelievable34

He is one of the best impact subs out there scores most of the time an loves the club an has a great atittude would sell rooney instead but more so welbeck

CAIN

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell him and bring in lewandoski

Agree0 Disagree6

I disagree with you here, I think he has developed and is developing. He comes much deeper for the ball recently and links up really well with all out other strikers. To sell him would be pointless, plus he wants to stay.

Agree4 Disagree0

Id only sell him if,
1: part of a ronaldo/ozil deal.
2: buy lewandowski

Agree1 Disagree1

Keep him, get rid of wellbeck, he might run all day but just can't score, 2 poor misses yesterday when he was way too slow getting shots away. and also get rid of cleverly, most overrated player I have seen this year. sd

Agree2 Disagree7

He's one of my favourite players. I love that something different he gives the squad in terms of his poaching ability but also his work ethic and enthusiasm. Wouldn't want to sell him unless we got a silly offer - don't think we could hope for a better 3rd/4th choice striker and he still seems to be developing.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way. Anyone saying sell him and get in Lewandoski, get a grip Chicarito is at a similar level, albeit as a dedicated poacher rather than all rounder. Also, Lewandoski would not be content to sit on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewandoski is a far better player than chico. Outside of the box, despite some improvment this season, Chico is weak. His control is below average, his passing is poor. However, his movement and finding space is top notch. Lewandowski is a far better player outside of the box and he's as good, if not better in the box. having said that I think we should be consentrating on strengthening the positions where we are weakest - midfield for instance. A strong ball winner like Wanyama and a Scholes like replacement - Gotze, Eriksen or the like.
Mik

Agree0 Disagree0

Cleverely overrated? Behave

Agree3 Disagree4

Chicharito is a bit streaky at times. He will have one great game, two good games, a poor game, and then will need two to three game rest. Saying that, I would not sell him to any team unless it's too of reduce the cost of superstar player.

Agree0 Disagree0

With the way he is treated as second fiddle to Welbeck at united, I wouldn't be surprised if he moves on. Welbeck is a local lad and clearly the future in SAFs eyes. If we could get Ronnie/Modric/Ozil/Di Maria as part of a deal I wouldn't complain, but, I don't see why he would move there to compete with Benzema, Higuian and maybe Cavani next season he will be 3rd or 4th choice again.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

If chicas happy on bench keep him defo a great player to have around the squad who could still improve.
But there have been rumours that he's not happy on the bench

Agree0 Disagree0

20m + would be good and fair for his strike rate, but realistically I think it will be between 15m-20m.

Agree0 Disagree0

DDG, Hernandez and £20m for Ronnie?

DanW

Agree0 Disagree1

DDG, Hernandez and £20m for Ronnie?

No way. DDG and Hernandez are the future. Obviously Ronaldo would be amazing to get next summer but he will be nearly 29.

I for one would not sacrifice two crucial parts of our future and 20mil for a star at the back end of his career.

Agree0 Disagree0

People saying Ronaldo is too old, he is 28 with another 5 years at least at the top. Medical condition has advanced, look at Giggs. Ronnie could peak in his 30s.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ronaldo could have 5 years or so at the top. so?

Hernandez could have 10 or more, ddg could have nearly 20.

Agree2 Disagree0

Oh, and Lewandoski isn't as good as some of you think, try watching German football every week. He is good, better all round than Hernandez, but he is absolutely not as good in the box.
