Ed, is there anything on the rumour of a bid been made for clyne? And that a deal could be made

Believable11 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - A new contract at Southampton is on offer but interest from Manchester United remains as he is seen as a much cheaper alternative to Coleman. The previous interest of Spurs has gone.}

I'd rather have Clyne than Coleman.

And isn't clyne a lifelong utd supporter?

{Ed002's Note - That makes no difference.}

I'd love to sign Clyne! We'd have two great young full backs for years and years to come.

Is Dragovic looking likely? Hearing different things from different media outlets.

Also, are Spurs trying to get Depay in this window? If they are then I do hope we make a push for him too and don't just leave it. £15 million for someone who could be a real world class start is excellent.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - I explained about Dragovic yesterday when Dinamo said they knew of interest from several clubs but had only had the one offer at that time. PSV's Memphis Depay has attracted interest from a number of clubs with Manchester City, Real Madrid, Newcastle, Spurs, Marseille and Manchester United looking to see of a deal can be struck this past summer. Marseille signed Batshuayi and dropped their interest in Depay and UEFA sanctions will block any move from Manchester City before next summer. Newcastle and Spurs are known to still keeping an eye on the player with Manchester United and Everton being suggested as possible destinations as well. Someone very knowledgeable about football in the Netherlands has suggested that a move to Newcastle would suit Depay better than the likes of Real Madrid or the Manchester sides as he would need a couple of years to establish himself in the first team and sitting on the bench will not help him at all. He has also advised against a move to Spurs, and his views are well enough thought of to likely remove them from being an option for the player himself.}
