I have heard from my Dads mate who is a cabbie in Manchester that we will sign De Gea by the end of this week and that we will go for Modric or Nasri, and have had nothing to do with Sneijder and have given up on Sanchez.

Aparently Man city are the new favourites to sign Alexis Sanchez from Undiese as they have offered the most money. If he is a true Manchester United fan like reports are saying then he would definatly go to the blue side of manchester and come over to the glorious title winners red side of manchester and bath in glory. But that is what the undinese president said that man city have now emerged as favourites

Sky Sports News:
"Speculation:

Reports in Italy claim Manchester United are to make a big-money approach for Napoli's highly-rated forward Edinson Cavani. It is understood the Red Devils had the Uruguayan watched on several occasions last season."

Not sure I'd fancy us paying his E50m buy out clause. Will probably cost around £35m. Probably worth it given that he is a better striker than Suarez who has been excellent for Liverpool since signing in January.

SAF is preparing £20 million deal for Nasri. If this is true that is a bold move by SAF and if it works we would called him a genius.

Still, keep your eyes on De Gea this week and hope for the best.

News of the World reckons we are about to make a £20 million bid for Nasri - could be a good deal for us, but price a bit on the high side for only a year left on his contract.

We have just paid between £16-20 million for Young so you would expect to pay similiar if not more.

Gone are the days of getting a players on the cheap who has a year left on his contract. There will be alot of clubs interested in signing him

"{Ed002's Note - I can tell you that another offer will be made by Chelsea.}"

Is this because VB has arrived or was it always the plan? Because Chelsea were knocked back for him in January weren't they?

Matthew...

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained Chelsea have kept a watching brief. Discussions have been held with advisors who were in Brazil and who are now in teh United States about how to proceed over transfers and Villa-Boas was party to at least some of those discussions. We now see Falcao in the picture for Chelsea as well. The result was that a decision has been taken to make a further offer for Sanchez.}

Thiago has just said he would be prepared to leave barca for the good of his career... Surely we should test the water with a 15m bid, Barca i feel would sell to free up funds he is exactly what we need. What do you think ed? {Ed002's Note - I would guess he will stay at Barcelona with a loan possible.}

Sanchez deal is still on the player has to put in transfer request to force a move to utd they are willing to offer 3m more which would take it to £30m that will be utd's final offer they will make offer before end of next week by next week it will happen or not as i said before Udinese are putting us bidding war with clubs. Player will only join us or Barcelona no one else. Believe me or don't i know my contact very reliable.

Thiago at barca
Tug of war taking place. Some at camp nou feel he is the one that should be promoted and don't buy fabregas. Pep wants fab and if he gets him then thiago could come to us giving barca cash for Sanchez. On Sanchez fergie and gill refuse to deal with pozzo and Sanchez instead of standing up for a move to utd has blown it by saying he will go even to city. Fergie now not interested
Thiago is our target the next xavi
Utd also monitoring higuain as Madrid looking at portos falcao

"I can tell everyone now that Jack Rodwell will be signing for Manchester United on Thursday for a fee of around 14 Million. Wes Brown and Michael Carrick will be going as part of the deal."

Wes Brown, Carrick and £14 million for an unproven and overrated player who's come off the back of a terrible season? O....K......

I'm told signings of Schweinsteiger 38mil and Ganso 26mil will be announced. Berbatov is off to Bayern for 16mil, Gibson is off to Sunderland, Brown is considering 4 offers, one is Newcastle. They have received an offer for diouf, but would like to keep him. O'shea is looking at 2 offers, utd would like him to stay. Benfica look like potentially bidding for Anderson, however Ferguson really does see major potential in him still. Pogba has the biggest future out of the young players, and he may well get a couple of run outs next season.
As much as I could gather in my current drunk state, but from an interesting person!!

i would really like 2 see hazard at utd great player!!! any truth in the rumours hes coming to utd ed??? {Ed002's Note - There is a significant difference between a player being looked at and him "coming to utd". Me personally think it is stupid to sign thiago from barca.as our main targets r Sanchez and sneidjer.
If we did pay barca say 20 million for thiago would that not give them enough spending power to sign Sanchez?
Barca are stuck between fabregas and Sanchez. This is gud for us so stand a greater chance of landing the Chilean international!?
What do you think Ed?? {Ed002's Note - I disagree I am afraid. I have already made my views perfectly clear about Sanchez.}
----------------------------------------------------
Who says Sanchez and Sneijder are our main targets? Last time I checked nobody from the club has indicated that we are even interest in either of them. I'm aware that David Gill supposedly flew out to Barcelona but not sure if it actually happened or if it did how interested in him we really were. I would love us to sign Sanchez but would be very surprised if he did not end up at Barcelona.

I do however agree with you that signing Thiago would be 'stupid' - but probably feel so for very different reasons.

Thiago will become a world class player if he is not already considered to be so. Unfortunately I am positive that were he to leave Barcelona that we would see a situation similar to the one we are seeing at the moment with Cesc Fabregas in about 5 years time. As such we would not be buying him from them - but loaning him until he reaches the top of his game and they decide they want him back.

Traditionally the best Spanish players have rarely ventured outside of Spain and those that have seem to find their way back there over time (Fran Merida, Gerard Pique and soon Cesc Fabregas to name but a few recent examples).
