Has anyone else read the interview given by the equalizer. I think he answered all questions honestly and just like Moyes acknowledged that we have a lack of world class players at the club currently. He also confirmed what Ed02 told us about the Ander Herrera deal that once the club were told that only the buyout clause would get him, the deal was off.
He also confirms that Moyes changed the transfer targets and he needed time to assess the squad before making decisions. He also says that a lot of people tried to insert themselves into different deals which probably explains the apparent deadline day farce.

Ed02, do we retain an interest in Baines? Can't see Everton accepting a £15m bid in January after rejecting bids in the summer and anymore is a lot of money for someone who will be 29. {Ed002's Note - I suspect Baines is one possible option that will be considered, and Coentrao perhaps another.}

We should get in a decent LB then play Pat on the left wing in some games because he's been great going forward this season, his cross for Chica's goal was inch perfect and he seems to take on the full back with more success than either Nani or Kagawa.
