Hi eds, thers lots of rumours for hernandez and welbeck leaving but do u see any strikers coming in or will players like di maria, januzaj, n upcoming wilson be used as back up for tht role?

Castaignos is another player who was expected to move this summer and is known to LvG. Perhaps a little something to keep us busy on Monday afternoon.}

Out of interest James Wilson has been added to the first team squad

I hope to see James Wilson used this season. I think he is ready to step up and needs game time. Any signings we do make up top could impact his development. I do like the idea of JW and AJ backing up our first choice strikers.

One thing that is a slight concern for me is that RVP is at the age where strikers especially can decline. Seems that football has taken its toll on his body over the years.

Perhaps Viktor Fischer?

If Reus is available surely we could be in for him?

Promte wilson, agree with remy, think he'd be a good addition to the sqaud

I still think we'll come to regret it if Welbeck leaves.

He's perfect cover for Roo and RVP, and he's been improving rapidly. Another year or two and he could be really pushing Roo and RVP for the starting spot.

If Arsenal or Spurs get him he'll do well, and we won't get a suitable replacement without spending a fair bit more than we get for him.

It's all happening, apparently Dortmund and MU have agreed a deal for Kagawa.

Get Hummels involved as part of the deal!!

Hope it's true, hate seeing him on the bench, and it will ease up our finances a bit.

I wish to god that we would push for some kind of deal with Reus or Hummels. Dortmund have been funny with us over deals - why sell them a quality player for less than he's worth? The same goes for Chico/Evra and Juventus.

I hope this is true! Kagawa is a class player but he was wasted with us, never had a chance after we signed Mata. Hope he does well in Dortmund.

If true, selling Kagawa is the right decision. A shame, but he has not lived up to his billing whilst at United.
Hopefully we've agreed first refusal on a couple of Dortmund players!

manchester united have agreed a deal with aston villa for tom cleverley. a fee of £8million has been mooted for the england international.

United to pay in installments apparently.

BBC reports that Valencia and Juventus have made bids for Hernandez.

Hernandez is close to a move to Juve apparently, that's according to Mexican media. I think it will be separate to any Vidal deal. Kagawa to Valencia perhaps. Maybe just maybe Welbeck could stay put? Would make sense to have Welbeck and Wilson as back-up to Rooney and Van Persie. Have Welbeck and LvG kissed and made-up?

I think the Carvalho rumours are to put pressure on Juve to accept our offer before DL day. I think hell end up in a red shirt before Tuesday morning.

Appreciate the post but confused after your previous post stated the deal was done. What's changed?

I'm getting bored of all this Vidal talk now. if he really wanted to come to man utd then he would have forced it through by putting in a transfer request.I would rather go in for carvalho and then hopefully get strootman at a later date

No matter how much he wants to move to United
He won't push for a move as he's stated he's happy there and he won't dare upset the fans and be in their bad books

Utd will give up on Vidal and end up buying Carvalho for £27m and blind for £18m.

Still need a centre back but doesn't look like that is going to happen!

Tough times ahead.
