Hi eds, thers lots of rumours for hernandez and welbeck leaving but do u see any strikers coming in or will players like di maria, januzaj, n upcoming wilson be used as back up for tht role?

Believable12 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - If Hernandez and Welbeck leave do not be surprised by a bid for a striker. I am not aware of interest but Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is looking for another club but probably wants Champions League football. Castaignos is another player who was expected to move this summer and is known to LvG. Perhaps a little something to keep us busy on Monday afternoon.}

Would prefer remy :)

I posted something similar yesterday talking about Remy however I wouldn't say no to Luc Castaignos

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be surprised if it's a quick winger/forward.

Agree2 Disagree2

Anyone in mind syd?

Agree0 Disagree0

Out of interest James Wilson has been added to the first team squad

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope to see James Wilson used this season. I think he is ready to step up and needs game time. Any signings we do make up top could impact his development. I do like the idea of JW and AJ backing up our first choice strikers.

One thing that is a slight concern for me is that RVP is at the age where strikers especially can decline. Seems that football has taken its toll on his body over the years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps Viktor Fischer?

Agree1 Disagree2

If Reus is available surely we could be in for him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Promte wilson, agree with remy, think he'd be a good addition to the sqaud

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Aug 2014 04:46:10
Ed002, what about Viktor Fischer? He would fit the bill wouldn't he?

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - Clutching at straws man.}

29 Aug 2014 05:02:03
Ed002 - Is Aubemayang still available - and if so - have we expressed an interest?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Clutching at straws man.}

I think it will be Depay if anyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah something to keep us all busy, been a quiet summer so far for you ed eh :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Is messi available! worth a try!

Agree0 Disagree0

I still think we'll come to regret it if Welbeck leaves.

He's perfect cover for Roo and RVP, and he's been improving rapidly. Another year or two and he could be really pushing Roo and RVP for the starting spot.

If Arsenal or Spurs get him he'll do well, and we won't get a suitable replacement without spending a fair bit more than we get for him.

hearing rumours that tom cleverley off to villa for £8m zaha on loan to palace and kagawa back to dortmund these reports via sky and bbc is this correct. Love this site long time reader and occasional posts well done eds keep up the good work thanks

Believable23 Unbelievable5

Zaha's is a loan with a view to a permanent deal. I will be surprised if he returns to MU.

Agree2 Disagree2

Sorry to put another Q. forward, but is there any interest in Valencia's Daniel Parejo? Valencia have apparently bid for Cleverly. Could there be a potential swap there?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there any update on the Lucas Silva situation Ed002? If Vidal dosent materialise, i'd really like to see Lucas Silva bought.

He may be raw potential, but at least we know he won't have to mature on the pitch. His game is already about vision and passing.

Carvalho has similar qualities, but this Silva strikes me as a unique player. Do you think United are in a good position to win negotiations ahead of other interested clubs?

Thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It would be in at the deep end stuff. I would not hold your breath about seeing him in the first team in the coming weeks.}

It's all happening, apparently Dortmund and MU have agreed a deal for Kagawa.

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Get Hummels involved as part of the deal!!

Agree2 Disagree1

Hope it's true, hate seeing him on the bench, and it will ease up our finances a bit.

Agree0 Disagree0

mbd

I wish to god that we would push for some kind of deal with Reus or Hummels. Dortmund have been funny with us over deals - why sell them a quality player for less than he's worth? The same goes for Chico/Evra and Juventus.

Agree2 Disagree1

I hope this is true! Kagawa is a class player but he was wasted with us, never had a chance after we signed Mata. Hope he does well in Dortmund.

Agree1 Disagree0

If true, selling Kagawa is the right decision. A shame, but he has not lived up to his billing whilst at United.
Hopefully we've agreed first refusal on a couple of Dortmund players!

Agree2 Disagree0

Reus has just been made captain so it's VERY unlikely at all he'll be leaving anytime soon

Agree0 Disagree0

Melwing - No he hasn't? Are you confusing Reus with Hummels?

Agree1 Disagree0

Red
Yeah sorry, I deleted too much from my message before posting it seems. He was made captain for their friendly not long ago. Hummels yes is to be the captain for the season

Crystal Palace sign Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United on season-long loan

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Boom boom.

Rumours rife that Vidal is staying at Juventus and Carvalho will be signed in this week itself.

At the reported 24 million pounds I think Carvalho will be an excellent signing.

Believable24 Unbelievable11

I bet u've never seen him play!

Agree4 Disagree0

Half the people raving about vidal won't have seen him play either shutts, its all just one big bandwagon that everyone jumps on when a players linked

Agree1 Disagree2

I support manutd want to sign Carvalho. Good, young and has technical skills. Better for our long term plans. Rather we only stick to Vidal who is 27 years old and having injured problem even expensive. Go Manutd go for Carvalho.

Agree0 Disagree1

hey eds, a name I don't recall seeing mentioned on here, sorry if he has, is Antonio rudiger, do you know if we have any interest in signing him?cheers ed.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - There was interest a while back - I don't know if any remains.}

28 Aug 2014 12:09:30
eds
Are madrid interested in vidal?

Thankyou

Believable5 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - They have been in the past but turned there attentions elsewhere - if they cannot get that deal does perhaps they will look again to Vidal.}

BBC reports that Valencia and Juventus have made bids for Hernandez.

Believable21 Unbelievable2

Hernandez is close to a move to Juve apparently, that's according to Mexican media. I think it will be separate to any Vidal deal. Kagawa to Valencia perhaps. Maybe just maybe Welbeck could stay put? Would make sense to have Welbeck and Wilson as back-up to Rooney and Van Persie. Have Welbeck and LvG kissed and made-up?

Aston Villa have bid for Tom Cleverley and Crystal Palace want to take Zaha on loan with a view to buy.

Believable21 Unbelievable4

I have a real good feeling we will sign two more midfielders this window. Many players leaving.

Zaha - Cleverley - Kagawa - Hernandez - Welbeck - Anderson - Lindegaard - Rafael - Varela - Fellaini - Vermijl - W.Keane.

Can we find them all a club though? Not long left now and so much to do. Doubt all will go, many will depend on incoming players too. Then there's the loan outs too.

Agree0 Disagree2

Cleverly is a very Aston Villa type player

Agree0 Disagree0

Yh
Zaha has left for Crystal Palace now on loan

Hopefully he does well!

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Aug 2014 12:25:15
Redseven. U must take this opportunity to drive cleverly to villa park by yourself. Just to make it sure that he won't come back without signing there contract

Agree0 Disagree1

I will give cleverly a piggy back to villa park myself and strap him to the villa park gates and throw away the key

Agree0 Disagree1

We will sign Vidal and Blind.

Syd I highly doubt all of those players will leave Fellani is injured so unfortunately isn't moving, I hope rafeal stays unless we can get another RB in which I doubt. i'd keep welbeck due to his age he can stil develop loan would be good!

Who do you think we could get syd hope we get a midfielder and cb those two positions are i'm urgent need of attention if we want champions leauge this season. Who are our cb targets?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mo21, there will be a massive clearout, that has been confirmed by EW. Also with only around 40 games (Max) left to play and no UCL money, MU will want to cut costs and there's no point having players in the squad that won't play.

Agree0 Disagree2

It's fine saying that United want rid, Syd, but if no-one wants them, they'll have to stay.

Agree0 Disagree0

SOSM, exactly, couldn't agree more.

Agree0 Disagree2

Talk is that Villa's bid of £8m has now been accepted.

I feel sorry for the lad given the amount of stick he's gotten over the last few years - but ultimately he is not a Manchester United player. I think he will do well at Villa and wish him all the best for the future.

Agree1 Disagree0

Also worth noting that the #23 shirt is now vacant. Hopefully it's taken up by another #23!

Bid rejected by Juve for Vidal. MU will go in with 2nd bid, buy won't pay crazy money.

Believable9 Unbelievable30

Clearly you follow Agent Edward on Twitter.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Aug 2014 09:45:33
So, yesterday it was a done deal, according to you. Now the deal has been rejected?

Think you need to work on a new source other than twitter!

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Aug 2014 09:48:57
Seems crazy not to pay crazy money for Vidal when we've paid crazy money for our last 5 signings

Agree0 Disagree0

When did we bid for vidal? seriours question

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Aug 2014 10:09:27
I think the Carvalho rumours are to put pressure on Juve to accept our offer before DL day. I think hell end up in a red shirt before Tuesday morning.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks @Agent_Edward.

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to "Vidal is a done deal"
get your facts right!

Agree0 Disagree0

Appreciate the post but confused after your previous post stated the deal was done. What's changed?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm getting bored of all this Vidal talk now. if he really wanted to come to man utd then he would have forced it through by putting in a transfer request.I would rather go in for carvalho and then hopefully get strootman at a later date

Agree0 Disagree0

@scartho

No matter how much he wants to move to United
He won't push for a move as he's stated he's happy there and he won't dare upset the fans and be in their bad books

Agree0 Disagree0

Utd will give up on Vidal and end up buying Carvalho for £27m and blind for £18m.

Still need a centre back but doesn't look like that is going to happen!

Tough times ahead.
