Fergie to bring in 3 players in january,an attacking midfielder to cover cleverly,a left back to cover patrice evra,,and a defensive midfielder..,berbatov,carrick,owen and gibson to be sold,,,,diouf to be loaned out

Believable8 Unbelievable59

Agree about players goin out except owen, think we should keep him, also think about time evra went he was not trackin back enough last nite, 2 of the goals he was at fault

Agree0 Disagree0

And for your next random guess, how about predicting Friday's euro millions? Honestly, that wasn't even a second guess of what Fergie might do... it's 'what would I do if was in the hotseat? having completed the last 3 seasons on fifa's manager mode in the top two.'

As it's been said before, Fergie won't buy big in January unless it's absolutely needed. So I doubt he'll bring in 3. Maybe a midfielder depending on how we look after Christmas (CL included). If not, I guess we'll all have to wait till the summer :(

Situation

Agree0 Disagree0

These 3 players you talk about... If they're only coming to cover for injuries then I wouldn't expect anyone big.

I'd like to see Joao Moutinho, Javi Martinez and maybe Aly Cissokho but if they come to United, players like Fabio, Cleverley and Fletcher are going to get shoved out because these 3 players have alot more experience.

Saying that though, if we did sign any of these... they won't be able to play in champions league matches because they've all already played in Europe this season for the teams they're currently playing for.

Agree0 Disagree0

No we won't be buying anyone in January, regardless of our squad situation. SAF hates Jan window, he won't buy and be held to ransom. Stop creating excitement, it's too depressing - I don't think I can face yet another transfer window of getting my hopes up, only for the old "no value in the market" or "we're happy with the squad we have" to be trotted out again.

We DO need a CM, but 99% of fans have been saying that for 2 years now. Only the blindly loyal were claiming we didn't need any more numbers in CM and now that the Cleverly/Anderson honeymoon period is over, everyone's now outta the woodwork. It was blatantly gonna happen,. but we will not strengthen the squad in Jan.

People dismissed the Krasic rumours, but what if there IS something in it? In my mind he could be excellent, he can play central or wide. Look at last night, when Rooney doesn't play the whole side looks flat...Krasic could fill that position. He wouldnt'nt be a regular but he would be excellent to utilise in midfield and he wouldn't cost as much as the likes of a Modric. Get him in and get Bruno cheap and we could have a cost effective, winning bonus

Believable6 Unbelievable22

I only know him as a right winger but could work

Agree0 Disagree0

We dont need anymore wingers we have about 7 already

Agree0 Disagree0

Please try to count...Valencia, Young, Nani, Park...4

Agree0 Disagree0

A bit off subject. does anyone think that maybe Nani could play through the middle?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani could easily do a job behind the main striker but to be honest i would prefer to see him out on the wing with those crosses

sf

Agree0 Disagree0

Giggs can play winger thats 5, if you count the da silva twins thats 7 plus we have van velzen (spelling) coming through the ranks so 7 with another comingthrough

Could see one of these joining United in the summer:

Higuain, Cavani, Llorente

Believable19 Unbelievable26

Cavani is a no... £100 million price tag on his head.

Higuain or Llorente could happen though. All depends who leaves.

At the moment we don't really need any more strikers. I still say we need a world class midfielder like Schweinsteiger.

Don't get me wrong, Cleverley is awesome. He just lacks in experience especially when it comes to champions league and the fact that he is injured doesn't help.

Anderson is decent but he has his moments when he's coming forward where he'll give the ball away because of how hard he passes the ball sometimes.

Fletcher, he has lost it a bit for me since last season. I know he has been ill and it happens but he doesn't seem the same player he was last season.

Carrick, don't get me started on him... Against Basel last night, there were times where he was passing the ball back all the way to the goalkeeper... We were 3-2 down! We don't want to see that when we're losing... We want to see the team full out attack when we're losing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would like to see Martinez replace carrick..

Agree0 Disagree0

True we need a midfielder but we do also need a striker.

When Rooney is missing it is obvious.

Hernandez and Welbeck are still earning. Owen is coming to the end and Macheda, Diouf and Berbatov aren't good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente could be available as soon as xmas bilboa have changed there style off play and there are rumors Lorente could be surplus to requiremnts at the right price.
I would to see Martinez in a united shirt

Anybody think alan dzagoev would be a gd shout preferably next summer as he's cup tied for champions league.

He scored a quality freekick last night and did really well against us when we met them twice in the group stage 2/3 years ago.

He's a good all round midfielder with great technique and creative instict.

Him or javi martinez in my eyes, dzagoev probably cheaper option tho.

Manchester United Firm Up Bruno Soriano Interest

Headline from an article from inside futbol. Spanish radio station reporting a bid of 10m Euros has been put on the table.

I have no idea what he's like, anyone have any opinions? He could solve our defensive midfield problems until pogba and tunicliffe are ready to step up!

Sanshine

Believable4 Unbelievable7

'Sanshine'

He is also a left footed left-back.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

'Sydney!'

I just read that in another article, I'll have to look at him further but sounds like the sorta player we'd buy. Outta absolute nowhere!

But in all seriousness. I see the logic in a signing like that. 27, experienced, not expensive, versatile and by the way things are going Villareal will go out in the first round!

What are other peoples thoughts on it, and him as a player?

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not gonna lie i would love to see Yann M'Vila i always go on about him, but he'd be great at united! I saw something the other day saying he could end up at barcelona but i think that's highly unlikely all the while mascherano, keita and busquets is there..

Agree0 Disagree0

We defo need a holding midfielder.we will be punished by any half decent side if we continue to play so openly.this problem has been blatently obvious for quite afew seasons now.i really cant understand why this problem was nt addressed over the summer.has di rossi signed a new contract at roma yet?

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a defensive midfield who can play at LB or CB .
a good player who has just started to break in to the spain team
