Manchester United Rumours
Ed, next month Liverpool have to find a huge sum of money or could (would never happen) risk going into liquidation, what do you think will happen on deadline day? What is likely to happen? {ed's note - it is not Liverpool that has to find the money, it is H&G that need to pay this debt off. It is not liquidation that is at risk but the banks taking the club off them and putting it into administration, even though the club itself makes a decent profit.}

I did think it was their debt and not Liverpool's, so the problem is they used Liverpool FC and Liverpool's assets as a guarantee against the? Would a bank put Liverpool into administration or would they not be better taking control of the club then the bank selling it for as little as possible, sell it for exactly the amount that they are owed?

Liverpool could get plenty of buyers but not for the 600m that Hicks wants, if the bank seized control and sold it for around 350m wouldn't Liverpool be better off than they are now? {ed's note - it is really up to the bank what they do. The likeliest option would be for them to take it in lieu of the debt then sell it off to the highest bidder. The only problem for Liverpool will be if the FA decides that, even though the club is solvent, in fact profitable, that this counts as going into administration and deducts points. Are you worried this might happen to United then? Only I think it is highly unlikely as the club makes enough to service the current debt easily. I don't think you will get rid of the Glazers quite that easily!}

On this weeks edition of Revista De La Liga, Graham Hunter claims that Man United want Julio Cesar to succeed Edwin Van Der Sar.If they fail to land Julio Cesar, they may make a move for David De Gea.

*Ferguson should be going for De Gea straight away. With VDS coaching we can use his already natural talent and mould him into a keeper suited for the Premier League. .i.e. sound when coming for crosses and not just a good shot stopper. Cesar is a good keeper but he would cost more money and is older. Thats just my opinion though.

id take de gea or igor akinfeev both still very young and very talented, im sure we will get one of them in jan, wouldn't mind casillas but can't see real selling him to us, i wish we thought the same when it comes to real buying our players

My mate BIG SHANE works on the stalls outside old trafford he says he was flippin burgers when Diego Maradona came up to him and asked for a double cheese burger with red sauce while waiting he told my mate that he had just been for an interview to become fergies NO 2. . He also told him that utd would be placing a bid for sergio Aguero or Forlan in the summer. . Afer he had finished his burger he rolled the wrapper up and started doing keepy uppys for 10mins what a legend. .

This is garbage . . tell BIG SHANE to lay offf the bottle (or wacky baccy or powder or whatever) and get on with selling his grease burgers.
