@But when he said to me about Chamakh to Liverpool, it was all in the papers that he was going to Arsenal, although he never publicly said it at that time that he was 100% going to Arsenal, my mate was convinced Liverpool was going to sign him.
A strange one Ed in it! That was the only other Liverpool rumour he has told me other than this Cole rumour.

Yeah ed, but Alonso is the player Perez coveted for almost 5 years. He is not going to let him go because he does not see eye to eye with Jose. In any case, I expect Jose to leave in the next 2 years {ed's note - you might well be surprised mate.}

I'm good friends with Jonny Evans and after talking to him he revealed that after the west ham game he got absoloutely tore to shreds by fergie and was told he needs to improve and be ruthless if he wants to make it at the worlds best club. However fergie did say that he had complete faith in his ability and that he would have to earn his place in the team and recapture his form again.
Also heard that fergie is using the schweinstager deal as a cover to work harder for Sanchez! He wants both but would prefer to conclude the deal for Alexis Sanchez first.

Man United are apparently interrested in signing Aston Villa's young defensive midfielder Ciaran Clark. Would probably be a good signing as he would improve the tackling from midfield and he would also provide an edge, plus some goals from midfield.About £12 million I reckon, and he would fit in very well to our team.

Ed the atmosphere in their dressing room doesn't look the greatest, does it? Do you think they (or any other club) can realistically keep a player who wants out, at the club and make him honor his contract? {ed's note - clubs no longer have the power to do that mate, all they can do is maximise the return they get.}

Ed i meant am i right that the players can buyout the last year of their contract? I know very well that they are doing it just to put pressure on his agent and other clubs as well. {ed's note - there are a number of factors that decide it, but he should be able to legally yes.}

The bayern president is so confident of making bastian schweinsteiger honor his contract and says that he will not be allowed to leave until his contract ends. But don't regulations nowadays allow a player to buy out the last year of his contract? Or am i missing something ed? {ed's note - it is just talk to keep his price up.}
