I think Coentrao on loan will be the only signing in January.

Ed do you know if we might go back in for De Rossi in January? Just read an article with the Roma Chairman saying he would have gone if we didn't leave it so late. {Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so.}

That's depressing if true. To think we could have signed de rossi instead of fellaini is quite disturbing.

More media rumours appearing that Kagawa is going back to Germany, Borrussia Dortmund, in the Summer with Subotic coming to us. Dreadful mistake if we let Kagawa go, really talented footballer and may say a lot about the style of football we want to play if Moyes can't find a place for him.

That would be a backward step :(
We have crap wingers and younger talented wingers who need experience who DM won't blood. Play Kagawa on the wind and he WONT be as effective. Play him behind RVP with a certain Mr Rooney on the wing and it would a different story .
. oh no I forgot, Rooney gets to play where he wants!

True Paulo, but for some reason I just think Kagawas departure has been done for a while now. We need a winger anyway more than a Kagawa type player if Rooney keeps playing how he's playing. Januzaj is a more than capable replacement in my eyes, a once in a generation genius, the boys a bit special IMO.

Subotic would be a very good buy

At the end of the day Subotic is a very good defender, which we could do with and, as good a player as Kagawa may be, we aren't getting the best of him and we won't do as long as Rooney is at the club IMO as they both need to start in the same position if they are to excel. If David Moyes sees a long term future for Rooney then a potential swap may make sense so long as we also improve on the wings.

Rooney is playing well at present but what if rooney still wants to go next season and doesn't sign a new deal? We would be mad to sell kagawa.
