I know someone who plays for United, his name is Kenji Gorre, he is very close with a lot of the players and Fergie and he says that United are looking at a new Centre-back, could be Benatia from Udinese or Cahill.

Believable9 Unbelievable32

Why would he be chatting to fergie about who he is going to sign?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Fergie chat back ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want a 6th Centre Back, behind Rio, Vida, Evans, Samlling and Jones.

Do us a favour mate and slam your laptop shut on your fingers.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm glad Kenji Gorie is useful for something,he's been at the club for years and has hardly ever played, however Kenji does get snippets of info, not from within the club because none of the staff know whats going on as far as transfers are concerned, but probably from his father.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cahill won't be coming. Chelsea are going for him and they're going to use Anelka as part of the deal to get him.

Last CB I heard that was linked with United was Neven Subotic. He would be a good buy. He has a powerful free kick on him and a pretty decent long range shot on him, not to mention his tackling ability and how well he can read the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way cahill having a laugh

I see that United have been linked with Martinez again according to reports in Spain.
Supposedly he has a buy out clause of €32m and United are ready to trigger that and make a move for him in January Ed are you aware of this or is it just rubbish ??

Devil Dust. {Ed007's Note - I've seen the reports DD, I would file them under gossip.}

Believable21 Unbelievable19

Wow I hope this has even the slightest of truth to it, imagine a CM of Martinez & Cleverley! Immense

Surely too good to be true though...(sigh)

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Ed,...we are going after Inigo Martinez or Javi Martinez.?(wat ever the rumour is)
Please clarify

DC_9 {Ed001's Note - the rumour is Javi, highly unlikely to happen as Bilbao are looking to sell Munain and build around Martinez and Llorente.}

My uncle who is a steward at Old Trafford told me that madrid will be bidding 22m for hernandez in january. And believe it or not Franco Di Santo is being lined up as his replacement, affordable and proven goalscorer.

Fergie also looking at Lee cattermole to fill the void within the midfield, as apparently he was left furious at the sacking of bruce.

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

InTheKnow.

Believable15 Unbelievable86

I would normally be the first to shout 'BS' but this is just slanderous. Surely you felt disgusting typing this?

Jack

Agree0 Disagree0

A Cheslea reject and a player who gets sent off more than an australian's visa extention in the UK? No thanks.

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know why people bother to write stuff like this. How would a steward in Manchester know what a club in Madrid are going to do in January? And how on earth is Franco Di Santo a proven goalscorer? I will tell you who is a proven goalscorer......... Javier Hernandez.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Deary me. I'm going to echo the sentiments of the previous posts...
Franco Di Santo? In what way is he a "proven goalscorer"?
Lee Cattermole....Bruce made a mistake making a hot head like him his captain....he would be both useless and out of his depth at United. We need a player to "fill the void" on the pitch, not in the dug out, suspended.
We need quality, not mediocre.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do idiots come on here with this stuff, and why don't the eds post it in the dodgy rumours site ?

they only seem to appear when it's close to a transfer window...

keightley!

Agree0 Disagree0

Believe it or not a steward does not have access to this kind of info. Hernandez will not leave and he is now injured. Lee Cattermole is going nowhere near this club as he is a liability with discipline and not good enough to fill any whole.

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll never sell chico
plus cattermole is not united quality

Agree0 Disagree0

Someones been at the sherry already lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hernandez has just signed a new 5 year deal at United. He isn't going nowhere.

As for the Cattermole rumour... that's even worse than the Hernandez leaving one!

Agree0 Disagree0

How about re-signing Djemba-Djemba too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ferguson has already stated that he will not sell Hernandez for any price, and Hernandez has also said in a recent interview he wants to stay at United for the rest of his Career.

Agree0 Disagree0

We bring back prunier aswell while were at it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to see that everyone on here can take their rumour with a pinch of salt and not over-react at all

Agree0 Disagree0

If franco di santo is a proven goalscorer then heskey would be regarded as the best striker ever ...... utter rubbish post !!

Agree0 Disagree0

This post and all the replies just made my day ! :)
Thanks mate.

Eds what are realisticly the chances of signing eriksen cause i think he's top notch and i just have this gut feeling united would get him open to opinions fellow red devils
Berbatude {Ed001's Note - not much chance of him coming to England at all, he wants a move to Spain.}

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Ed001, but what if Spain don't want him? Barcelona signed Sanchez & Cesc last season and tied Thiago and his brother down with a new contract. That is four attacking midfielders. They will not want Eriksen. Real Madrid have Kaka, Oezil, Canales & they want Goetze, so where would Eriksen fit in there? I know Kaka will be sold or loaned out, but Goetze is the player they want. Eriksen does want to move to Spain, as does Hazard, but if the Spanish two do not want them, then they will have to keep an open mind to where they will end up. Ajax are a selling club and if offered a decent price they will want to shift him on. So I think City, United & Liverpool if they can get a top four spot have a chance of signing him.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

What about marek hamsik from napoli , he would be a great replacement for paul scholes

Agree0 Disagree0

Have been watching parts Ajax's games recently (usually just halves), and I've been incredibly impressed with Eriksen's play. I think that he will be a top draw talent within a couple years. Would love for Fergie and United to snap him up.

TomBomb

ps - Eds, any chance he could be swayed from his Spanish desires if SAF personally attends to the transfer?

Agree0 Disagree0

@TomBomb , why would you want another Ronaldo debacle. Eriksen would just be using MU as a stepping stone to Spain if he came. And LMAO at SAF personally attending the transfer. Maybe if he wears his wizard outfit and brings Santa and the Easter Bunny he can persuade him to come.

Agree0 Disagree0

@noname

Here is why I wouldn't mind another Ronaldo:

3 PL Titles
1 CL Title, another finals appearance
1 FA Cup
2 League Cups
1 Club World Cup
118 goals in 292 appearances
67 million pound transfer profit

People come and go; better to bring in a star, win, then sell than bring in expensive/mediocre players who won't help you win/sit on the bench (ie Berbatov, Veron)

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above poster, Completely agree with you on your view of getting erikson and maybe later on selling him if need arises. Better than getting players like Berba.
