Rumour that preliminary talks with juve about vidal have taken place. but no negotiations

How can talks take place but no negotiations?

@Fresh clearly we are negotiating wether we will bid and who will blame who once it invariably breaks down :p

Perhaps that's what we did last summer? had chats with various clubs about players just to be social like with no importance on negotiations.

Tbf I think last summer Woody just fancied a wee drink to make some new friends

Hi Eds just have a quick question. I read on the Arsenal page that Arsenal have met Barca's valuation of Sanchez and can now speak with the player. Have Manchester United also matched the valuation for the player, or does our interest lie elsewhere? Thanks for your input!

Ed002 in your opinion would now be a good time for united to make there move for vidal with hope juve would be more willing to do a deal in order to be able to pursue sanchez?

We are looking at Wolfsburg's Rodriguez as a replacement for Evra. I think he may be a little expensive for a back-up LB.

Not only would he be too expensive to be a back-up lb; but also too good.

Sure it isn't we were looking at him as an alternative to Shaw?

Can't see it for the money he would cost and also he's far too good to just be a back up

Add to it Atletico's Filipe Luis not being any near to a Chelsea move, we can be sure that Chelsea is going to launch a 45 million GBP bid for Shaw. You heard it here first. ;)

A few sites are reporting that Bayern are interested in Vidal as a replacement for Kroos, who looks to be off to Real.

Wouldn't completely discount it but sounds a little like lazy journalism because Vidal turned down Bayern before he went to Juve. I mean why would Bayern really need him anyway?

I'm sure Rummenigge has already said they don't want him. Something about Vidal having no morals because he didn't sign when he left Leverkusen. This might be an old quote, just recycled by lazy journo's.
