Ed quite a few reports today that we've submitted a circa 20 million pound offer for sanchez. Has one of your wives heard anything?

Will Reus still move to Barcelona despite his injury or might their interest move elsewhere?

The eds on here provide reliable information but they are only human beings not mind readers, do you think they have been on the blower to barcelona this morning to ask if they still want reus because he got injured last night.

RS, whilst someone is injured, they cannot complete a medical. That is it in a nutshell. Much like Strootman, they cannot move anywhere whilst they are still injured

Have Manchester United any interest in Xerdan Shaqiri at the moment? From the rumours linking him to Liverpool, he would cost 15 million which would be a brilliant deal for him. He can play on the left, right or down the middle and would be a vast improvement on Young, Nani, Welbeck and Valencia.

Also, Manchester United should definitely make a bid for Arturo Vidal. If there's a chance to sign him, even for around 50 million, we should be jumping at the chance to sign him. He's arguably the best midfielder in the world at the moment, strengthening the defence as well as adding an attacking threat. And if a player like David Luiz is allegedly going for 50 million, then signing Vidal for that much would be great business.

{Ed002's Note - Shaqiri is one of the players Bayern are very keen to sell. Liverpool, Sevilla and Fiorentina have a declared interest with Napoli and Juventus having made tentative enquiries. Bayern are taking an interest in Pogba and were looking to include Shaqiri in a deal - but Shaqiri apparently does not want to go Italy and Pogba is settled, at least for a week or two. Any real interest from Juventus has gone. That leaves Liverpool and Sevilla, and perhaps there will be interest from Valencia if they fail to get a target they are working on.}

Pogba is settled for a week or 2 sums that up nicely. Ed do you see Valencia now as another contender for the big purchases such as city, psg, Monaco etc?

Ed002, do you think Valencia will take another look at Hernandez or is he Inter bound? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - One of my wives tells me today that, amongst other things, Valencia will look to buy Jackson Martinez and will try to get Hernandez.}

Ed002, thanks for the reply. If I am not mistaken haven't MU agreed a fee with Valencia before, but Hernandez rejected the move? He also rejected them to sign for us didn't he? I wonder if he will finally end up in Valencia.

{Ed002's Note - There is interest in taking him on loan and buying him from clubs - Valencia's priority is sorting out another transfer first but they remain interested.}

I don't know if this is true but apparently marquinhos is very close to signing for Barcelona, this could be good news if it's true we're in for hummels

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona are after two centre backs and their preferred target looks like he will not be available. PSG and Barcelona have not agreed a deal for Marquinhos yet because the value of Dani Alves cannot be agreed. Other clubs who have been offered Marquinhos are not interested at the price quoted. I am sure that they will. Barcelona remain interested in Hummels.}

Why are PSG so keen to offload him? Whenever I've seen him he's played well and he's only been there a year after moving for huge money

{Ed002's Note - They have to balance the books and are looking to spending a large amount of money to bring players in and therefore they have to raise significant sums by moving players out.}

Cheers Ed002, I take it there offering dani alves as a sweetener in the deal? If they do sign marquinhos, would you see them going for hummels as well? Jus that they already have pique so I would of thought they might go for a bit of a lesser known name

I know its been ages since we were linked with this player but what has happened to the links with Everton Ribiero? I'm not interested in United signing him anymore but he was heavily linked with us last year and now no one seems to be linked with him?

{Ed002's Note - Everton Ribeiro was of interest to Manchester United but all interest seems to have gone. A work permit would certainly have been difficult to obtain.}
