ideal signing for january would be javi martinez and alba.
martinez would also be allowed to take part in our champions league games.
alba i think could also be able to play due to us being allowed to register one other player who has played in the champions league (eds know if this is allowed?)
also i really don't want us to sign rodwell, the guy is sooo over-rated and i don't like him at all, we already have a young talented cdm...pogba! why on earth he hasn't had much game time is beyond me..

Why does everybody think that pogba is a dm. He is just nit. He is more like cleverley than viera. He is a normal md and classy with the ball. He shouldnt be considered as the new viera just because he is big

Viera was never a defensive midfielder. he was the box to box player with gilberto silva being the defensive man. pogba is alot like viera in the way he plays he puts in a gd tackle can pass well and has a great shot.

Right mid-field issue solved.
"PSV Eindhoven starlet Andreas Pereira has confirmed that he is joining Manchester United in the New Year.
The Brazilian-born Belgium youth international has accepted an offer from United, and will leave the Philips Stadion for Old Trafford in January.
The 15-year-old, regarded as one of Europe's brightest prospects, told VoetbalPrimeur: "I knew that PSV had given me my chance, but Manchester United is obviously a great club.
"Other British clubs were interested. I thought about it, but Manchester United is a dream club for me.
"I have been a few times to Manchester United to have a look. I got a tour and spoke with Sir Alex Ferguson. Being a 15-year-old and being able to talk with him is great!"

He's 6ft 2",already 12st,can do 100mtrs in10.6 secs ,strikes the ball like a rocket with either foot and is decent in the air. His main strengths though are his reading of the game, his tremendous close control and his ability to open up the oposition with one killer pass.From what iv'e been led to believe, a very good prospect indeed and one to look forward to seeing in the future.

He is a clever lad too, speaks three languages. Turns 16 in January and will sign a contract with us on 2nd January. He says he has turned down offers from other top PL clubs to join us.

Just wondering does anybody know if we will even make a bid for any players in January or will we wait till the Summer? We badly need 2 midfielders and quality at that, also just wondering where people see Jones playing for us long term I think right back but with Rafa there too its a hard one to call, no doubt Jones is a better defender.

Has anyone got any futher news regarding our purported interest in Wycombe's 15 year old starlet Jordan Ibe? He's already scored for their first team and I think he's a striker. Good news about this Belgian lad though, as he sounds like he's got a load of potential. {Ed007's Note - I read somewhere I'm sure that in a recent match he was watched by 38 scouts including United, Chelsea, City and LFC, in fact, most of the EPL bigger teams and also a few foreign teams were represented.}
