Any truth to van persie rumours he'd be a class act at united cuptied in Europe but would def help big time in the league and allow rests for Rooney ( he's got one Tuesday nite anyway) and hernandez between europen games & cup games

Wenger won't sell to us mate.... HERBIE

Agree0 Disagree0

Things have calmed down alot between saf an wenger your prob right though

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh he will bring his bath chair and play 15 games a season, he is useless

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

If he stays fit, with rooney he can be devastating up front esp since he is left footed.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way van persie spend 5 months of evrey season injured waste of money if were buying dutch id like ruud van nistelrooy back
THE HEMMINATOR

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think he'd be great if he is fit, he'd be cheap than alot of strikers and he'd give that experience up top that we'd be lacking if Owen and Berbatov leave. He's one of the most clinical finishers in the world for me and I'd love to have him here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Too injury prone, he'd spend a third of the seaosn out crocked and another third just trying to get fit after his latest injury.

Also over-rated he's not as good as Bergkamp or Ruud were in their primes.

I reckon he'll end up in Spain or Italy someone like Malaga or Inter maybe. Unless Wenger can con City out of 25 mill in the summer...

Agree0 Disagree0

On the top of his game van persie is a top striker if you could get him on a pay as you play contract i'm sure it would work

Agree0 Disagree0

Pay as you play is for old crocks like Hargreaves.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think hes only injured so much as wenger tries to rush him back when hes not 100% fit as he relys on him so much.

I agree with you jamesmack8
Forget Fabregas & Nasri, Arsenal have only ever looked to have a cutting edge to their team when Van Persie has played.
I think he would be a class addition to the squad maybe releasing Berbatov & Owen to pastures new.
It would give us a good mix of strikers with Welbeck, Chicharito & Rooney all offering different styles of play but at the same time i reckon they would compliment each others game.

I think Javi Garcia would be a perfect signing in the near future. This article proves why:

Believable6 Unbelievable11

His display against us proved why too.

Devil Dust.

Bring him in for ¬Ł10m, sell carrick for as close to ¬Ł10m as possible.....net result - a much better 1st eleven and more balanced squad

no brainer!

Goetze's agent has said he's highly unlikely to leave Dortmund before his contract expires in 2014.

Believable9 Unbelievable18

I doubt Dortmund would want to let him go when his contract expires. they will want some money for him.

Woffsta {Ed002's Note - I think you may have misunderstood what he said. What he was saying was that he expects him to stay three more years in Dortmund, no run his contract down. Later this season he will be offered a new contract. It seems likely he will be there for 18 months unless a really big offer comes in.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 - I would like your opinion on this, what would you say is an offer that Dortmund couldn't turn down? ¬Ł25m? ¬Ł30m? more?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I would be guessing but you need to accept they don't want to sell and he does not want to move right now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 - I suppose it will depend on the method of payment too wouldn't it? How much will be paid upfront etc etc. I guess it also depends on who wants to buy and whether or not he demands to join a particular club.

It was probably a silly question, I think we can agree on that one mate?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - Dortmund fill an 80k seat stadium pretty much every week, they are German Champions and any interest in the player will include a number of high profile clubs. I would say that he will not be moving to Manchester anytime soon (say within the next 15 years or so).}

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day how long he'll stay at borussia dortmund all depends on how quickly he progresses this season.. If he does well then he's more likely to leave sooner than later, either because top clubs will want to snap him up asap or just the fact that he starts to realise that his skill has outgrown Dortmund and he feels he should be playing with the worlds best (i can only see this happening if he becomes frustrated with borussia dortmunds performance this season). Seeing as borussia d haven't really lived up to expectations in the CL so far however..

Ed002, but how can you be so sure that (a) City or United will not attempt to sign him and (b) that he will rather move to AC Milan or Bayern over Manchester United? I regard your opinion very highly, but how can you be so sure that he will not be moving to Manchester when he leaves Dortmund?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - Because my focus is on the reality of it all rather than on some Fantasy Manager game or on what happens on Match of the Day, or on who is the hip player at any moment in time. Teams are simply not built that way by most sustainably successful sides. I did give leave the window open to him joining after 15 years though - so it is not all bad news.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 - I am not disappointed like some spoiled kid, if I am honest I am not fussed whether we sign him or not. It just amazes me that we scout a player for the best part of two years, yet you think it would be completely implausible that we would follow up that interest with a bid. After all he is exactly the type of player that we are looking for. He is a carbon copy of Sneijder.

I have been talking about this kid since January 2010 Ed, he is not exactly a flavour of the month player that has recently caught my eye. He may have only just caught a lot of other posters eyes, but I have been talking about him ever since I knew United were scouting him, even scouting his training sessions. I imagine we had an eye on Subotic & Kagawa too, but when our chief scout is renting a property in Germany specifically to scout Goetze, then surely we have some interest?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I don't recall saying that there has not been interest.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see him going to madrid or munich 30/35 mill

i don't know how reliable the source i have been told of but i cant name it is propabley s**te but i will tell yous anyway i have been told man united are linked with putting an offer on the table to bring tevez back to old trafford i do doubt it as i think sir Alex Ferguson wont bring a clown to old trafford but just thought i would say

Believable6 Unbelievable64

I think ronaldo is more likely to come back than tevez, sir alex actually still likes ronnie.. but seeing as i don't see ronnie coming back anyway.. i think tevez is a big no no!

I think it was a waste of time posting this sh1te bud. SAF h8s Tevez.

Italian agent Peppino Tirri
?˘‚Ǩ?ěI really think at this point Tevez will be sold during the next market window,?˘‚Ǩ¬ů Tirri revealed.
?˘‚Ǩ?ěWhere will he end up? I think the hypothesis is not currently viable at Inter: Inter do not need him, they have already forwards like Forlan, Milito, Pazzini, Zarate and Castaignos.
?˘‚Ǩ?ěThe same is true when it comes to Real Madrid. More plausible is the road to Juventus which would certainly be more convenient.
?˘‚Ǩ?ěDo not discard the possibility that he could still stay in England and maybe return to United.?˘‚Ǩ¬ů
thats were the rumour has come from, but there is surly no chance
jred {Ed002's Note - The most viable option is Real Madrid if a deal can be struck. Real Madrid will offer a player plus cash deal but my understanding is that Manchester City will stand firm on their valuation for a cash deal, but are interested in a player exchange (but for a different player). I really do not see a return to Old Trafford.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right it is sh--e.

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be Real Madrid who is behind Tevez' latest escapade. Real Madrid and Kia will be orchestrating his escape attempt. Real Madrid always get what they want and will pull any little trick to get around any obstacle. I think Real Madrid will end up with Tevez, Neymar & Hazard next season. With Higuain, Kaka, Khedira, Lass & Di Maria all exiting the club.

Ed002, Do you think there is a chance they will go for Martinez too? They have always been a big admirer of him, haven't they?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I can confirm that your assertion about Real Madrid is entirely incorrect and that at present Kia Joorabchian has not been able to get his desired meeting with Miguel Pardeza. However, Real Madrid maintain their interest in Tevez and are looking to buy him on the cheap (although Manchester City will not sell for less than their valuation). Real Madrid are willing to offer up Khedira as part of the deal but it seems Manchester City have eyes for Di Maria in what could be a straight exchange deal. If that were to happen then Hazard becomes a reality. Neymar - the situation remains unchanged. Much will also depend on what Ancelotti wants.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 - But it is very possible Hazard, Tevez & Neymar could all be signed next summer isn't it Ed? What do you see for Javi Martinez' future Ed?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I would not say "very possible" at all. There is nothing right now to suggest that Martinez will move next summer.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Tevez would never be aloud to come back to UTD, he burned the bridges once and thats all it takes.... HERBIE
