Wes Brown is not going to Sunderland, he is going to Guadalajara.
This transaction was part of the deal to bring Chicharito to Old Trafford and was agreed at the time, although not stated publically.
It seems that Wes fancied a change. Apparently, Sunderland have offered him more money but his mind was already made up.

Everyone is saying Ashley Young is a done deal. A couple of things I've heard-
1. Gibson to Sunderland
2. There are currentely 2 bids on the table for W. Brown
3. Blackburn are interested in getting Diouf on a permanent basis
4. The Juventus - Nani thing is quite well known I guess
And now onto the interesting stuff:
1. SAF is willing to offer Carrick + Berba + add-ons for Modric
2. Sanchez, Kagawa and Hazard (as mentioned several times on this thread) are top priority targets along with Jovetic and Martinez (expect atleast one of these at OT next season for sure)
3. Both Young and Sneijder are being looked at but due to various reasons the Gentlemen above (in point 2) have been identified as the primary targets
4. I have it from a good source that we infact will bid for Sanchez pretty soon
5. Interest in Defour, Ninis, Pjanic, Hamsik and Rossi seems to have cooled off lately

Man United (apparently) have already agreed - in principal - a deal for De Gea. He is a very good young keeper - very much in the same mould as Joe Hart - confident, classy, quick and modest. Schneider has hinted that United would be his preferred destination but there is an outside chance that Man City could swoop in for him. However, I think with the type of guy he is off the pitch, he would prefer United as they are more grounded - and have an established, successful mantra (that isn't a criticism of Man City, whom I expect to be winning more trophies over the next 3-4 years). Apparently Neymar has turned down Chelsea and he has told friends that he would like to join the Brazilian contingent at United. Whether that will happen remains to be seen - but Sir Alex didn't seem massively keen. My preference would be Aguero. Enrique is widely tipped for United, but with all due respect to him - he is not a United type player (yet). Currently, his style is more geared to the way Liverpool play (who are also purportedly interested in him). All in all we could well sign, De Gea - Schneider - Aguero. . .now. . .that would make for an interesting summer!

Man United lead race for Sanchez
Manchester United could land Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez right under the noses of Barcelona.
The highly-rated Chilean was thought to be on the way to the Nou Camp after his agent claimed a deal with the Catalan giants has been reached.
But Udinese president Franco Soldati issued a statement on their official website claiming there are no signs of a deal taking place between the Italian club and Barcelona.
"With regards to the statements attributed to be about a supposed transfer of Sanchez to FC Barcelona, I wish to point out these are without foundation, " he wrote.
"There is no agreement between Udinese and Barcelona for the sale of this player.
"It should also be noted no meetings are planned between the two clubs to discuss any such transfer."
Now according to The Sun newspaper, the 23-year-old prefers a link-up with Sir Alex Ferguson over a move to Barcelona.
Reason being he sees himself having more time on the pitch at Old Trafford as compared to Nou Camp, where he is likely to be used as a back-up.
However, Udinese will not be entertaining any offers below £30million.
Manchester City, who earlier indicated their interest in Sanchez, have dropped out of the race to sign the highly-rated winger, which leaves Chelsea as United's main competitor for his signature.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa winger Ashley Young will complete a £20million move to United within the next 48 hours, if reports from England are to be believed.

According to the daily mirror , we are in the running to sign Phil Jones from blackburn (also evens on skybet to sign him) hopefully we can get him as Smalling and him would be brilliant together.
Ed - any chances you feel ? {Ed007's Note - Like I said, I heard a murmur about Jones about a week and a half ago, but I dismissed it out of hand. Whether this is a rumour being regurgitated or not, I don't know yet TBH}
