{Ed022's note - brand new player profile on Jordan Rhodes of Huddersfield Town. I've chosen him as my player of the month for February 2012 hense why I've profiled him at such a young age. 36 goals so far this season in League One, and would be a bargain for any team who decides to challenge for his signature. www.player-profiles.co.uk - thanks all.}

Eds do you have any updates on Pogba? A lot was said at the start of the week about his future but all seems to have gone quiet now, at least in the papers anyway. Thanks.

#ags 19 {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware nothing is settled or signed, but he is talking to other clubs, not just Juve, I am told there is a club in Spain extremely interested (probably Valencia) and Dortmund too.}

Thanks Ed. Do you know whether or not he has been talking with United or has that ship sailed?

#ags 19 {Ed001's Note - I believe that he is still talking to United, no decision on his future has been made, or at least that is what his reps are saying.}

Manchester UNITED to makea bid for Iker Munian. about 15million kaylem1300 {Ed002's Note - Muniain was touted around the clubs on behalf of Bilbao - and the two clubs in England that were approached were Chelsea and Manchester United. The asking price was 40M euros. They won't get it. I don't think clubs would risk half of that on a player who is young and has shown himself to be pretty immature. Roma interest is still there but perhaps an eventual move to Barcelona beckons.}

I agree that a move for Muniain would be one of the best that we could make. Him or Hazard.

I don't see Bilbao selling Llorente, Martinez etc, but Muniain may bring in a bit of revenue for the club.

£20-25 million would be a fair price.

There are far better players than Muniain to spend 25 million pounds on.

Altho munian scored he didn't do all tht well in my eyes he was about average composited to how well all Bilbao players played martinez was immense how he stopped us creating an running with the ball an he had a few amazing passes that only scholes in our team could do

Agree0 Disagree0

Go on then Simmo, name them...

Before i name them tell me why we should sign this kid and pay out 25 million pounds. Tell me that you watch every Bilbao game and how fantastic he's been all season. He's a prospect that has had a few good games this season, that's it! (Dont judge him one the one game!)
Im pretty sure that Fergie has targeted who he wants (if there is anyone) and we will hope fully see a couple of players coming in.

So you answer my question with a question, I wasn't disagreeing with you, I know little about muniain other than what I saw last night. You said there are loads better so was seeing if you could name then. Otherwise you have made a statement that you can't back up.

Im not going to claim Muniain doesnt look impressive and I dont mean to belittle the views of those who want him at the club but we get this kind of response every time a player performs well against us. Muniain plays on the left of a front 3 at Bilbao and drifts inside, in that respect is he any different style of player than Nani? If we are to sign that type of player then I would prefer to see us make a move for Hazard. I think Hazard has the potential to be a much better player than Muniain has the potential to be.

If any of you had taken the trouble to attend last nights game you would realise how good Muniain is.
Iv'e only seen the lad previously on the box and although mildly impressed, like with all players i reserved any judjment untill seeing him in the flesh and let me tell you last night the boy lit up Old Trafford. His movement going forward was tremendous , to such an extent that we were unable to deal with the space that he was creating for his team mates. Also impressive was his chasing back allied to his overall work rate.I have rarely seen a player with so much all round abillity put in the work that this lad did last night.
Over the years ive witnessed all the great players that have performed at our great stadium, most of whom wore the red shirt, but believe me Muniains performance last night was up there with the very best and should it be at all possible i'd love to see him playing for us in the near future.

Muninan actually did very well and so did llorente. both of them where really hard to handle and tbh munian looks perfect for Barca.. if we do go for him, i wouldnt b upset spending 20M+ the boy can definately live up to the expectation.

Sorry been away...the answer to your previous quest. Eden Hazard, Christian Eriksen, Gaitan, to name but a few.

Plus i would rather Nani / Valencia play on the left as they are alot better
