Alryt guys, my source again has told me just has he did about Rooney signing and RVP that united are going to break the bank to bring ronaldo back.
I'm not giving a date of when we will bid as my source was a little misinformed of the date of when RVP would sign.
But nevertheless my source has been correct on both occasions.
So take it as you will guys don't no a date of when we will submit a bid, but you heard it first AGAIN that united will re sign ronaldo.
My source hasn't been wrong before about players.

Are you saying just that we will bid or that he will come here because he wants to rejoin us?
Agree1

Was glad to see him go, yet would welcome him back with open arms :)
There might be one or two small problems though, i.e we can't afford him and we alreay have a wealth of attacking talent.
Chances of this happening? Maybe 5%

So "your source" knows that United will break the bank for him, that Ronaldo will choose United over everyone else and that RM will accept the United offer? Damn your source knows his stuff.
I wish I knew the future thoughts of a football player.

Just looked at your previous posts and all you have predicted is RVP and everyone knida thought he was going to join. Maybe your right but I think it will be unlikely to happen without players leaving.

Well first we can afford him the question is more would the Glazers sanction a move for him,I would say unlikely.Secondly you appear to be saying that the attacking talent at Utd is not in need of a player of Ronaldo's calibre. We have no player at Utd who is as good as Ronaldo and imho only Messi is better than him.If it is at all possible we shoud bring him back to Old Trafford ,however as I have said I don't believe the Glazers would go for this.
Agree0

I believe this to be true, we are or will be looking into him... and with him saying its not about money...
Make me think that he will be back and I believe it will be sooner then later....
But that's IMO...

"There might be one or two small problems though, i.e we can't afford him and we alreay have a wealth of attacking talent."
...whatever about not being able to afford him but he is better than anyone we have! happily give up Nani and Young to get him!

You mean you read the papers...
JK92 {Ed007's Note - We are hardly hearing it first from him either, we have all been talking about it all week! He isn't even the first to claim to have been told, there are some strange people out there
Agree1
Disagree0
How can we not afford him when Rooney currently earns more than he does at real Madrid now?
And you can never have enough attacking players.
Also I'm sure Nike would happily help out with the deal, as they would make a large profit of him returning, and as for the glaziers, I'm sure anyone would realise the income ronaldo alone would bring in to the club, along with trophies. For them it's great business even with his high price tag.
I recon a bid of less than 100 million wouldn't even get taken serious, regardless of him being 27 151 in 150 is amazing ild value ronaldo around 110-120 million
Agree0
Disagree0
A bold prediction, especially that he is coming back and we are going to sign him when no date of a bid even to be made.
Would love it to be true as I didnt blame him going being a boyhood Madrid fan. For me he is the most talented player I have seen in our jersey in my lifetime. I see it all as an effort to get a better contract on his part, but that is just my opinion

Ronaldo is haggling over a new deal you fools. It is all to do with a new contract, nothing more, nothing less. Why do you think he waited til the window was shut?
Sydney!
Agree0

I know we don't have anyone as good as him, but Rooney is already having to fight for his place and if we should buy any world class talent it should be a midfielder.
Seriously, spending god knows how much on Ronny, when our midfield is so lacking is just ridiculous.
Also, what would his wages have to be?
We are paying Rooney & RVP a huge fortune, and you can bet that Nani's & Anderson's don't come cheap either.
I really don't see how we could afford it.

Something I know a great deal about is sources. I had English mustard on my mixed grill today. And I never had to read the latest press to get this info. You ever considered that the window has closed there's not much happening in the rumours market at the moment and Ronaldo to united sells papers and get you on people's web - site ?
Agree0

So just to stir the pot even more what do people think if we offered Rooney and Cash for Ronaldo?

Sydney! Don't think there was a problem until the Champions League draw day Aug 30th if I am not mistaken.

My source has also told me that united are going to bid to resign Ronaldo. Also, that we are going to try and sign Damiao. The daily mirror is really not that reliable though....
Agree0
Disagree0
Jesus guys what happened to One Love and all that lol.
Clearly we will be interested in Ronaldo if he becomes available. But equally as clearly its not unknown for a player (or manager) to throw his dummy out and claim he is unloved etc only to pocket a hefty salary increase to keep him sweet.
Bottom line is we have to bid for Ronaldo IF he becomes available.
Do we have the resources to do that ? Patently not given we seem to have a fixed £50m budget per year to play with.
However, Ronaldo is one of the few players in world football who will more or less guarantee success if he joins you. I accept it takes 11 men to make a team but anyone who can afford his wages has the finances to bankroll a decent team hence should be there or thereabouts anyway. Ronaldo, like Cantona before him many moons ago, can be that bit of star quality that galvanizes any team to be more than the sum of its parts.
I think this asks a serious question of the Glazers, i.e. SAF can 'guarantee' success / additional revenues via shirt sales etc IF the, for argument sake, £160m package we would need to secure him (£100m signing fee + £250k pw for 5 years) is granted.
Are the Glazers willing to invest £160m to ensure the team's success ? Bearing in mind team success = greater revenues ?
Personally ....I think not. I think they have realised they have got as much cash out of United as they can and will look to sell when they find a suitable buyer (hence the IPO to value the club / check its value in the real world).
So...if you are unwilling to invest in an asset certain to make your overall product better....then is it not time to go ?

Those who are claiming that he did this to scare Madrid into giving him a better deal, just think about this: Had he done that when the transfer window was open, that would have scared Madrid even more than when the transfer window is now shut.
There could be more to it than meets the eye.
