Do you know of any Utd interest in De Jong and Veltman?
Think De Jong would do a good job for relatively little money and Veltman is a promising young defender plus both used to working with Van Gaal's systems.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of an approach for Veltman. De Jong might be a short-term option for midfield but I would not think the first choice.}

He's not what we need but he's world class and you should always buy quality when it becomes available.

Utd seem to expect other clubs to sell their players to them on the cheap!
If the other club says the price is £20m then pay £20m if you want him.
Might as well just bring through academy kids as we are not being serious in the transfer market.
Never heard of him! 4 weeks ago we were looking at Hummels, then Benatia, then Rojo and now were going after some lad from Stuttgart who appears to be our 4th choice for a centre back! Might as well stick with Blackett & Keane, they will be of same standard to this guy and we already own them!
It will be an apology to the fans for his conduct and 'misunderstanding' over his future! He will say he is committed to Sporting and loves the club.
What else would it be? Who gives an interview saying they want to leave! When have you ever seen that!
