Interesting read, not to repeat yours and from the top of my head, i would pick Karius, Andre Wisdom, Phil Babb, Caulker, Dossena, Jovanovic, Arthur, Aquilanni, Mark Gonzales, Robbie Keane, Veronin
Dont know if Ed001 would agree, but this is purely subjective based on what i saw.

Good player technically and tried hard enough for Liverpool, but he wasn't consistent in his performances. Dunno what he's been like with Juve.
You could do a lot worse very easily, but he's not going to solve all your midfield problems.
