Not long left now guys. Ideally I'd like to keep pogba, reluctantly sell martial, bring in pulisic sell jones / rojo / darmian and bring in Toby and sandro. 3/4 out 3 in. What do you guys think?

Wishful thinking Deano5, in the history of late transfers at Utd I can only really remember last minute signings being one offs.
E. g. Berbatov, Rooney, Fellaini, Falcao.
Not in groups like you suggest. I reckon It’s hard enough to get one deal done in a day or so, let alone bringing in pulisic, Toby and Sandro while shipping off martial, Jones, Rojo and Darmian.
Ed and his team haven’t managed this number in the window so far, what makes you think it will all happen in 2.5 days? I like your thinking in terms of players but personally I am not optimistic.

First time poster enjoy the site good banter.
Like to talk about transfers I don't understand why we haven't bought a LB I can't go through another season of watching Ashley young running down the left only to cut in on his right to cross its so predictable .
We should be going for Alex Sandro a natural left back who can stretch the play I thinks it's the most important transfer we should have done.
If we go for a CB it has to be Toby and we should be play 3 at the back if we get him a 3 of Toby bailly
and lindelof would do just fine.
I don't agree we need a RW why are we not playing Sanchez there he played there for Barcelona so why can't he do it for us in order to accommodate either rashford or martial on the left.

Agree with everything you say. I have no idea why sanchez could not have played from right since joining, played for both Barcelona and udinese regularly there, I have been screaming for this since Jan, maybe Tony m would be a bit happier also.

It's ridiculous that he wouldn't at least try it for a few games its got to be better than playing mata or lingard neither of whom are anywhere near what we need for the right.
I'm afraid it's gonae much of the same for this year and if that is to be the case then we need to
seriously need to ask questions of the manager.

With Valencia being injured ( don't think he be out for too long tho) and dalot out until September, who would give TMF a run of games at right back at the start off the season. Played well at palace last year and even Sane said he was the toughest player who went up against last year. I hope Jose goes into the season with him, I think he hit the ground running :-) .
And 1 last thing on here, let's hear some more positive post about the upcoming season. We are UNITED!

Does any of the eds know if anything has changed with the board over Jose or pogba? Or in your opinion if it comes to It, who do you think will go 1st? .
{Ed001's Note - there is a lot of money tied up in Jose's contract and Pogba has been trying to get out, so you would expect Pogba to go first.}

Zouma is not a bad player. I think he is better than rojo and Jones. But he is not the world class centre back we need. Would rather fork out on a left back or right winger. I wonder who were get linked with 2mo.

Boeteng was shocking at the world cup as well. I'd stay clear of him. I heard SS staying we have 5 centre backs on the list but we have only identified 4. Like I said varane would be a dream, but also Godin is a good shout if we can get him.

Brenden81. Great post :-) . I'll admit that I think we could do with 1 Or 2 more players but we still have a good team that can beat anyone. Your right about Jose. He has improved us over the last couple of years and the stats do back it up. It's not all doom and gloom.

The only person I would like too replace pogba now at this late stage of the transfer window is Eriksson from Tottenham. Be a great buy. Plus he is proven in the league. I think any1 else is too much of a gamble. Maybe Eriksson and Toby for martial +cash. What do you guys think?

TOT66,not sure about ended youngs career. Only have to look at how young kept salah in his pocket all game last season. Still think if we can sign a world class left back then we must, but still hoping for Shaw to kick on now this year. People seem to forget he had a really bad break 2 years ago. He does look in better shape now, and hopefully mentally he can improve.
