Haha oh come on Elvis, it’s not even been 24 hours, let’s just enjoy the season now, football isn’t all about shiny new signings, it’s about getting the most out of the squad we have and enjoying the games. I’m glad the window is closed, maybe ask in December or something, until then we have who we have.

Men against boys? They put their chances away and once we were 2 down we collapsed but they literally scored with their 1st 2 shots, it was a pretty even game and we missed chances and had a goal disallowed by a millimetre.

I’d suggest you go back and look at the posts after the Brentford 4-0 last season, it was all the same, we are going down, all of the players are useless, everyone needs to be sold, ETH is out his depth. We finished 3rd.

Ah ok, I remember them going for the title the year before and then struggling the year after when their defence was injured, only getting 4th at the end when a few players were back and Allison getting that winner.

{Ed001's Note - the defence was still out, it was just Klopp finally took the plunge and gave Phillips and Williams a run and put the midfield back together. Having everyone in their natural position made a huge difference.}

It is madness that we ended a premier league game with them 2 at the back but it’s also madness that the reason was because our first choice 4 centre backs were all ill or injured at the same time. Most teams would be screwed if that happened, when it happened to Liverpool they played Nat Philips and Rhys Williams for a while and were shocking. So as much as it’s a joke they had to play, you’d like to hope that it isn’t something that will happen regularly.
{Ed001's Note - actually when Phillips and Williams were the pairing Liverpool went on an unbeaten run to get a top 4 place. It was when midfielders were used in defence before that and the useless loanee lump Kabak played that Liverpool struggled.}

I agree, I feel like I watched a different game to others, we conceded at an awful time as we were well on top at that point, they scored off their first 2 shots and then our heads went down. We need players back, it’s our first home defeat in over a year so the overreaction is a little mad but expected as it’s always the case.
