If man united are going to get Juan mata for 40 million pound what's the future for kagawa in my eyes there the same player. Wouldn't it be good to try an get Reus in a swap deal. Eds do you see us getting a centre back in January.

2.) Think your right jay22 if we get mata the swap deal with kagawa for gundogan would be a good move. We sure don't need mata and kagawa would get us the attacking midfielder we need in gundogan

Eds how many more players do you think van gaal will need. I was thinkin he will need a centre back and maybe a attacking midfielder left side. What players you think he will let go and what future does Zaha have. Just asking for opinions be4 everybody says your not van gaal so how's you going to no. Cheers
{Ed004's Note - Over the next three windows we need atleast one centre back, centre midfielder and a left winger. Will probably need a new striker while possibly needing a right back, cb and winger depending on how are players perform}
1.) We need at least one CB during THIS window. We could in theory plug the gaps elsewhere, but I suspect we will sign three more players in this window alone.
2.) Sydney other than your imagination what leads you to suspect we will sign 3 more players?

We've been linked with CB's, CMers and wingers so I expect us to try for 3. A CB is essential, hope we get at least one on top of that. If we can't get our preferred CM or winger it may make sense to wait a year.
6.) I think vermalen,de vrij ,depay and carvalho will all arive ,I suppose this also makes me crazy
7.) CTR I didn't write that I didn't think we would buy 3 more players, I asked Sydney why he thought we would. I'm sure he can answer for himself but thanks for your input.

9.) Carloto, we lost Ferdinand and Vidic therefore we will sign at least one CB this summer. We still need one more midfielder. We also need an injection of pace for the left side of our attack. Arguably we need a new RB, although I guess that wouldn't be a priority. Then there will no doubt be one or two youth players looked at. So Dwight Yorke thinks we will sign seven more, I think we will sign three more.

Eds do you think 27 mil for shaw is abit much. I do to say he's only 18. Think he's going to be a really good player but there asking for too much.

1.) If you think of the investment in terms of the number of years he could potentially be our 1st choice left back, I think the value is pretty reasonable.
2.) Jonny659 - I think it's a bargain to be honest! He could be our LB for the next 10 plus years and with so much potential his price will only rise in coming seasons if we don't make a move now. I'm liking the urgency from United, no messing around this window, I hope it's a trend we see all summer. And we are going to have to pay a bit over the odds etc. seeing as we can't give players Champions League football

I think its excessive for a fullback considering what they've sold other players for but given 12-15 years potential service then it balances out.
4.) I think it's a great price. Shaw could realistically be first choice LB for next 13/14 seasons. So £2m a year for a lad barring injury who could become real class. Great price for all parties and he'll get say 80-100k pw. That's most likely quadrupling his wages. Win Win.
5.) I reckon he'll stay as a left back for a while, but his future lies as a left sided midfielder, once he bulks up a little he could emulate gareth bale and play practically anywhere. It's a good start to the summer though, let's hope we get everything sorted before the world cup starts. I'd imagine the players who are coming in are being made aware of the new manager too, the absolute disgrace of a window last summer, will be forgotten by an awesome, exciting and reassuring window this year, can't wait.

Miranda 24 mil is abit much. Would rather get vermaelen for half that price. What about martins indi, Mangala. What centre backs do u think we will go for eds or who we lookin likely to get?
Agree with u domi b. if we could get someone like robben and hummels that would be class. Would finish in top 4 wiv 2 more signings
If it's not Vidal, Herrera or shaw. I think it could be angel di Maria. He's ment to be not happy at real. But we will see
Khedria for 30 mil wow. For that sort of money I would go for Vidal he's there player we need and had a class game last night. We hvave got players who play the same role as khedria
