I posted before we signed Bruno that I actually didn't think he'd be the best signing and would take a while to settle.

Could not be happier to say I was wrong. Today he showed all the strengths of Lingard, Mata and Perreira rolled into one, plus being a set piece specialist.

I can't wait to see what he can do once we get Rashford back and a RW in. Makes you wonder where we'd be in the table if we signed him at the start of the season when we should have.

I've been banging the Bruno drum since last summer, he is the ideal player for us, his style, creativity aka character. Of course it is early days to be getting giddy but I feel we can build around Bruno and he could be the key we have been missing.

2.) 23 Feb 2020 19:41:41
If Ole gets sacked at the end of the season then it would be because we didn't sign Bruno in the summer.
Of course we wouldn't be top of the league if we had signed Bruno in summer but we would be atleast 10 points better off. And by now we would have seen much better chemistry between him and other players. We should not expect man of the match performances from him every week as it will take him time to adapt to the league and understand his teammates.

3.) 23 Feb 2020 21:07:55
I don't want Ole to be sacked and if we achieve CL I don't imagine he will be but any manager coming in now will love to have Bruno Fernandes and tbh most likely Maguire and wan Bissaka too so shows our recent purchases have been better. I am looking forward to seeing Bruno and Rash linking up.

4.) 24 Feb 2020 00:16:03
Obi Chong kenobi, Lingard, Mata and Perreira have strengths? Can you enlighten us?

5.) 24 Feb 2020 02:46:26
Lingard can dab.
Mata can write.
Andreas is consistent at making poor decisions.

6.) 24 Feb 2020 04:47:16
An important attribute of Bruno is his leadership.
He is constantly instructing players where they should be.

7.) 24 Feb 2020 07:20:13
Before we all get too excited we have some tough games coming up, if we are still within 3 points of 4th by the end of March then CL is definitely on.

22 Dec 2019 17:37:00
Is it time for Romero?

Obi Chong Kenobi

1.) 22 Dec 2019 18:30:57
Definitely! A season and half of poor form now from him.

2.) 22 Dec 2019 18:51:51
Give it Romero till the end of the season then next year have him and Henderson fight it out.

3.) 22 Dec 2019 20:57:48
Jesus, I've been saying for three years that ddg is not a complete gk. Good at shot stopping, not today, but rubbish at communication, distribution, and commanding the area. He is a liability. Now then, which manager is going to have the balls to drop him? Solskjaer is like a mouse, so that won't happen.

18 Oct 2019 20:15:12
What do people think of the possibility of Emre Can coming in January?

For the quoted 35m tag I think it'd be an inteligent signing if true. At one point I would have said good squad player but let's be honest he'd def be first choice now.

Obi Chong Kenobi

1.) 18 Oct 2019 21:59:45
Good player technically and tried hard enough for Liverpool, but he wasn't consistent in his performances. Dunno what he's been like with Juve.

You could do a lot worse very easily, but he's not going to solve all your midfield problems.

2.) 19 Oct 2019 13:05:18
Hes not started a single game this season.

Excluded from the europe squad.

3.) 19 Oct 2019 20:44:05
Can would add very little to our squad. He is not particularly creative and I can't see him providing any leadership. He's better than Fred and Pereira, but so are a multitude of average midfielders.

11 Aug 2019 20:38:05
Wow, what a win!

I was so pleased to see us fully commit to a pressing first 11 by leaving out Mata, Matic and Young.

They'll play their part this season (hopefully mostly in the cups) and guide our youngsters in training but to have every player able to press was amazing to see.

We have some real possitive personalities emerging as well with McTominay and Maguire being particularly vocal on the pitch. Was good to see Lindelof giving advice to WB, after the mix up, as well.

I have no doubt we won't be winning 4-0 each week but with strong positive characters like this in our team hopefully they'll keep other's chins up when things don't go our way.

Great win, GGMU!

I think we're done buying older players on high wages. He's a fantastic player but you'd imagine he'd demand Sanchez type salary. Just doesn't seem to go along with Solskjaer's plan.

I can understand why established players would want to leave or not join but surely this is the best time ever for u18s/ youth to be at the club.

Why go to other big clubs where you have almost no chance to play. If these reports are true, youth players seem to have way too much ego these days.

Why not work hard, establish yourself here and if we're still not a champions league team by the time your 23-25, then move on.

Just like Angel Gomes, he could have signed a contract this year and had so many games this season like Greenwood, McTominay and Williams. But instead he's had his head turned by Barcelona. Does he genuinely think he's going to get more gamtime there?

Does nothing but 3 goals, 6 assists (most in the club this season) tracks back, win free kicks, and goes past people.

James has been one of our most consistent performers this year with a goal or an assist every other game so fizzled out is a bit harsh.

What's wrong with giving Lindelof a new contract? He's everyone's first choice CB alongside Maguire.

Second the season before, true. But with Fellaini, Herrera, Lukaku, Valencia, and an onside Pogba (at the time) .

Can you not see the difference between the two Midfields alone. Pogba, Matic and Herrera vs Fred, Matic (in further decline) and Perreira.

I'm not saying Solskjaer is perfect but we can only play one way because of the players we have. What team would you put out against Burnley yesterday?

One word - Giggs.

I wasn't that into football until THAT Giggs goal in the FA cup against Arsenal. Every thing about it just seemed impossible and I've been hooked ever since.

That's probably why I'm so excited to see another pacey welsh winger running down the left for us again!

Ken, Eriksen is not a Spurs cast off. He's a player who rejected their contract offrr so he could move to a better club.

Sorry pressed post before I finished by accident.

I am worried that with our current midfield we will struggle to dominate possesion against the likes of Leicester or Wolves, who have better midfields then us, let alone City and Liverpool. I'm not saying we won't win or perform well in these games but we will be playing on the counter attack for more games then I personally would like this season and we are definately too reliant on Paul Pogba for creativity. But as i said, now we have a solid back 5 this can be the main focus in what's left of this window and the next two. Not all doom and gloom in midfield though, as McTominay has shown huge improvement and has leadership qualities that you would not expect in someone of his age.

Up front, we still need a right winger but i'm glad we didn't get Pepe because I think he would will be a flop in the Premier League and I'm still hoping for Sancho next year. I'm going to put my neck on the line and believe Rashford is going to get his first 20+ goals this season. From what I have seen in pre-season he seems far more composed and confident (please no more free kicks though) .

Overall, this is the most excited about our team I have been in years. We have our identity back. Bringing through home grown tallent and playing fast paced attacking football. Hard to predict where we finish this season but we have certainly improved and I think through luck more then judgement Ole and co are the right men for the job. I just hope the board give him time, if they do, we will have a United to be proud of.

Bring on the season, GGMU.
