Henderson has finally secured his loan back to SU.

Hope he has a great season.

Wilder mentioned that the deal was hard work which is exactly what ED02 said the other day.

Great work again ED02.

Thanks.

Great news - hopefully he has another really good season.

It won't have done any harm him coming back to Utd for a bit during the summer. Reconnected with the club and staff and got his contract sorted.

2.) 27 Jul 2019 00:06:17
Every chance the club were stalling to see if DDG would stay.

26 Jun 2019 19:55:25
Ed02 - do you know if we have shown any recent interest in Ozan Kabak? I saw your last update on the 4th March and wondered if the situation has changed or if the recent stories are recycled old news.

Many Thanks.

PogtheDog

{Ed002's Note - He remains a cheap option being hawked around many clubs.}

1.) 26 Jun 2019 22:10:07
Many thanks for the reply ED02. Have a good evening.,

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

2.) 27 Jun 2019 14:33:59
Kobak moving to Schalke04.

11 Aug 2018 13:51:48
Ed02 - do you happen to know if we are still in dialogue with anyone regarding the sales of Darmian and Rojo?

Many thanks.

PogtheDog

{Ed002's Note - Inter remain keen on Darmian and Barnett spoke with Comolli about Rojo.}

1.) 11 Aug 2018 19:09:09
That’s funny, because I need to speak to Rojo about his barnet.

2.) 11 Aug 2018 23:38:18
So we may still see Darmian go to Italy and Rojo to Turkey before the window closes.

Thanks as always for the info ed02.

{Ed002's Note - Stuff will happen.}

3.) 12 Aug 2018 11:05:14
Fingers crossed.

4.) 12 Aug 2018 12:42:33
That is great - thanks for the info ed. I wish them all the best but neither have been able to progress to the level required whilst here.

This will mean more room for movement in the transfer windows to come.

5.) 12 Aug 2018 20:59:59
Well with the Italian window closing this Friday the 17th we will soon know about Darmian.

If he does go i guess we will see Young at RB until either Valencia or Dalot are fit.

6.) 12 Aug 2018 22:18:33
Makes sense. Surprised we let TFM go out but may mean Jose will give Shaw a run out for a few games.

7.) 14 Aug 2018 04:50:05
I agree about TFM but he needs games and once Valencia and Depot are fit we have 4 for 2 and he needs games so this is best for him and us long term.

ED02 - if you were in charge of Manchester United with all its wealth and world wide fan base what would you have for dinner this evening?

I'm stuck between southern fried chicken, rice and sweet corn or a Chinese meal?

😀.

Great result for the u19's against AC this evening.

Gomes again looked good. Hopefully see him get some minutes in the 1st soon.

If not he needs a loan as this level is not challenging him enough.

PogtheDog

1.) 20 Dec 2019 22:49:35
What was the score?

2.) 21 Dec 2019 09:00:04
Goals from D’Mani Mellor, skipper Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong gave the Reds a 3-0 win.

3.) 21 Dec 2019 13:22:11
Excellent, I think our under 17's won 9 - 1.

4.) 21 Dec 2019 15:27:04
Gomes is leaving i think.

06 Aug 2019 21:03:01
Great result for the U21's tonight against Rotherham.

Greenwood not included which suggests he will be this Sunday.

Some good performances all round, but Gomes looked really good.

If he is not going to get any game time he needs a loan until JAN and judging by his performance tonight i would say Championship or lower PL club would suit.

PogtheDog

1.) 06 Aug 2019 21:19:56
He has all the teckers that's for sure.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 21:27:43
Gomes was outstanding, but I thought Ethan laird was the best player on the pitch. The keeper was also impressive on the ball. It was a really good performance especially second half.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 21:41:11
Watched the game and was really impressed with Laird and Kovar, not mentioning Gomes as i think he is cut above everyone at his age. Looking forward to Mellor as he has some devastating pace.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 22:19:12
Ethan laird did look very good. Will be interesting to see how he progresses. We could have 3 very good young right backs next season at this rate when for the past several years we have been crying out for just 1. haha.

Kovar did look good also, and had the ball gone in off the post he would have started a fantastic team goal with his little drag back and turn in the box.

Agreed Gomes is a cut above the rest. The short cameos he played for the first team in pre-season have shown that. The glaring example being when he turned 3 AC Milan defenders. He needs to be managed correctly and we may have some player on our hands. If we don't sign an AM then i would love to see him given an opportunity at 10 in some games.

14 Jun 2019 20:21:08
ED02 = have you got plans to do a transfer sharksopod for either each team or a joint one again at some point?

KEN - have you heard any further updates from your friend in the legal sector?

PogtheDog

{Ed002's Note - Theisea will be to do a few individual versions and then compile the rest - but I am on the road which makes it tough,

1.) 14 Jun 2019 20:59:04
No pog. Not a word. I would assume nothing had changed from what he told me. I don't ask for daily updates its not that type of relationship. He is doing work on behalf of parties feeling with the club he own does for a variety of reasons. He was very confident we would be signing bruno fernandes, and suspected it would not be our only Portuguese signing. He has given me 3 or 4 before and been rigjt except with matts humells whom he said was made a very attractive proposal and was sure to sign.

2.) 14 Jun 2019 21:23:16
Thanks Ken. Guess we all wait until it happens then.

3.) 14 Jun 2019 20:51:58
ED02 many thanks for the update. All the best on your travels then and i await your response when you have more time.

18 Apr 2019 21:00:28
We all keep talking about the top 4 and how important CL football is, but it is looking possible that we may need to finish 3rd at this rate.

PogtheDog

1.) 18 Apr 2019 22:12:49
How does that work if an English team wins Europa and champions league, 1 of the winners being outside top 4 and we finish fourth?

{Ed002's Note - Then a fifth side enters. If both win and neither are in the top four then fourth drops out - but it is impossible for that to happen this year.}

2.) 18 Apr 2019 22:21:41
Only if spurs win cl and aren't in top 4. Europa winners are guaranteed a spot from day 1. champs league winners are expected to qualify by league position. I'd like ajax to win champions League.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 22:30:30
Europa League guarantees a spot to the winner only change if a non top 4 wins is that 3rd then has to qualify. It's only if the champions League is won by a non top 4 that 4th doesn't get champions League football but again 3rd would have to go through qualifiying. So basically forget the Europa league it's all about champions league as the winners are expected to qualify by league position.

This is how I believed it to be or have they changed this now to a maximum of 5 from any one league ed?

{Ed002's Note - 5 is the maximum for England.}

4.) 19 Apr 2019 06:55:58
Cheers ed.

5.) 19 Apr 2019 08:17:35
ED02 - why is it impossible for that to happen this year? Spurs could potentially win the CL and drop out of the top 4 and Chelsea the EL and also finish outside the top 4.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry, yes it is possible still.}

6.) 19 Apr 2019 11:24:52
Bloody hell i thought the situation was dire already. I know one is supposed to back the English teams in Europe, but sod that for a laugh.

7.) 19 Apr 2019 11:39:35
What a terrible state of affairs, hoping certain teams wins and lose and not qualify so we can have a modicum of success. Big work in the summer, I agree on a post above about Ole wanting to change how we play, I feel Ole wants to be a pressing, high energy team with counter attack, as we’ve gone thru change after change we need to have patience now and Ed needs to let the football men make the football decisions, including transfers.

This just shows that we need to sign a really good DM.

Neves
Soumare
Zakaria

Imagine if we were lucky enough to sign Neves. A DM that can play and score and set the pace of the game.

As Dan said it was Neil Ashton and it was a Leeds game. They passed each other coming out into the stand. That was it. They were not sat together. Poch did have a coffee though if that helps one sugar.

Add Darmian to that list. I can see them all gone by this time next year as well as Young and Matic.

Other Italian resources reporting Bruno will be completed Monday after the Portuguese super cup on Sunday. hopefully we will know more by the this time Monday.

However before then we have the much more important matter of a match against AC and our last match before the premier league kicks off. We need a big game and i can't wait.

Come on lads.

DOF. let's start from the top and get rid of the current senior management and bring in a new DOF and club management team that have a clear vision for the club for the next 5,10 years.

The DOF can then d3cide on a new team manager, he can choose is coaching staff and they as a group can decide on what players they need. The DOF and his team can then set about trying to sign those players.

We need new owners that want to invest in the infrastructure as well as the squad. We need a new management structure including a DOF, and then we new a new manager and coaches. That is a lot of new faces without even looking at the playing staff. So much to do.

Schnauzer1 - it is not what he said, but when he said it. Why now?

We need to get out of this current cycle and the only way to do that is hope that the Glazers sell the club to someone/ group that put footballing people in charge that know what they are doing and we start to invest in the infrastructure as well as the team/ squad.
