Ed002 - Do we have any interest in Ibrahima Sangare?

Steve10

{Ed002's Note - Ibrahim Sangare (DM) Newcastle are keen on the player and the interest of both Leicester and Southampton remains. The player has said that he does not wish to return to France and wants a move to England, but perhaps not this summer. Has been watched by a number of other PL sides including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea who sent an ex-player to take a look at him with two scouts. An approach from Aston Villa has been rehected. PSV have no intention of selling and will work hard to avoid a sale.}

Hello ED 002,
I just wanted to ask that what is the actual problem at the club. You have said that the owners and Woodward are not the problem but the amateurs who look after the footballing side are. Then why are they not being replaced? Or is it the fans who are the problem who lead to the sacking of van gaal and put all plans in disarray. If you could please just give us a brief overview of what the problem is.

Steve10

{Ed002's Note - The problem is a number of individuals - the supporters find it easy to blame the owners or more often Woodward alone.}

1.) 28 Aug 2020 11:24:48
Would you say Ed Woodward is good at his job then Ed002? what's your opinion on him please?

{Ed002's Note - No, I am not interested in any of this.}

2.) 28 Aug 2020 12:26:33
I was wondering the same Steve.
The people who are accountable for making poor footballing decisions, is there any system in place to scrutinize their actions?

Ed, If I may ask, are the decision makers aware that they are conducting amateur transfer dealings.
Is there any system in place to improve on these areas or are there significant efforts behind the scenes to improve the club's structure?

{Ed002's Note - I have no interested in discussion the annual witch hunt.}

3.) 28 Aug 2020 13:42:08
the FANS were not the reason he lost his job, his own dire football which was sending the fans who pay to give the club income was sending us all to sleep was why he got sacked

people can bang on about the manager being the problem but look at all the other successful teams they have proper owners with a proper structure and the people who are best suited to each job role.

all the club give a crap about is MAKING MONEY. and as long as they don't have to use thier own money they are not bothered

this is not an annual witch hunt this is fact the club from the top is run by clowns that have no idea.

4.) 28 Aug 2020 14:13:56
That includes the manager bolger?

5.) 28 Aug 2020 19:32:24
The fans were the reason he lost his job. Ed002 explained this to us in the time, maybe you know better?

6.) 28 Aug 2020 22:23:54
He lost his job because the product he was supplying was substandard and us customers didn't want to buy it anymore.

7.) 29 Aug 2020 00:41:54
Yes MancMan and as result we as fans forced the board to sack him. There was a plan, it doesn't matter how we played back in time, we had to stick to the plan. It was a process and we would see the fruits after 2 years.
If fans do the same with Ole at some point then i will say the same, fans have power and can force a team to sack the manager as we have seen before with Van Gaal. So nothing wrong to say that fans were the reason for his sacking.

8.) 30 Aug 2020 02:13:56
How were the fans meant to know there was a bigger plan? All we had to go on, was the most boring football I've ever seen at Utd. Why would anyone put up with that anti-football, unless they knew it was only a means to an end?

Fernandes is a good player. He just needs to pick his passes and keep a bit more possession. This will come with good coaching. And ED he is easily better than any Arsenal player. Maybe if you had him you would have created one decent chance against Newcastle ?.

Steve10

{Ed014's Note - wouldn’t touch that tool with a barge pole and maybe if he was actually any good you wouldn’t be wallowing down in 6th place. ?

Did you say Mctominay is worth hanging on to. He is just a waste of space who keeps fouling everyone.

He is not that good defensively that's why we are selling him. Check out euro 21 semifinal, single handedly gave the other team a chance for a comeback. Made 2 errors leading to goals when in fact he was one of the most experienced player in the squad.

DDG is poor at coming for crosses, bad at distribution and stays rooted to the goal line. Have a look at his stats in these areas and he is near the bottom in all these areas in the league. Although I agree he won't be an immediate concern since we have other pressing issues but renewing his contract at this stage and giving him a higher salary would be stupid on the club's behalf but not unsuprising.

Rashford was the worst player on the pitch and cost us the goal by not tracking back. Hassenhuttl will again be an average appointment. We need Ten Haag.

Slandering Maguire for no reason again Herrera? Sterling was at fault there you can't expect Maguire to to outpace Muller when he as 10 yards on him. Also look at Walkers action for that chance, He should have kept running back instead of committing which led Muller to be free.

Just any chance to take a swipe at Ole. This fan base is really toxic. Ole stayed with the club for many years and was a great option from the bench. Without him we wouldn't have the treble mind you ( Fa cup vs Liverpool and of course the champions league) . 91 premier league goals that too not as a guarenteed starter is very good. You can judge him for his management but stop disrespecting him as a player and his loyalty to us by saying he wasn't ambitious.
