Trending on Say Sports today "Utd are a rich man's Stoke"

Gotta love all this hate and jealousy. What are Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool who are all below us then?

1.) 21 Jan 2018 14:47:45
Yeah man really love the sudden love and attention shown by the biased media and the sudden influx of scousers fans coming in here stirring 🤣🤣🤣.
As GDS said great time to be a Man Utd supporter. Such attention and “love” 🤣😂😂. Sanchez already making his wages worth. Imagine he starts his first game?! 🤣🤣.

2.) 21 Jan 2018 15:13:37
Us against the world.

3.) 21 Jan 2018 15:57:09
That was a comment taken out of context on Sunday supplement from that journo Oliver holt! Basically saying mouriniho teams look to out power opposition and not concede but dnt excite going forward! He has a point but hopefully with the addition of more world class forwards our are play will develop!

4.) 21 Jan 2018 16:15:41
To be honest listening to them lot talk football is a bit like listening to Robbie savage when he covers games for BT talks absolute rubbish.

5.) 21 Jan 2018 16:20:07
Neil custis was bang on on Sunday sup this morning yet was being patronized by the rest of the panel for being Mourinho biggest fan its pathetic and I love it 😁.

6.) 21 Jan 2018 16:36:46
Yeh I saw that Deano. They were all ripping him to pieces when he said as a Newcastle fan that he wished that keegan had been more like mourinho in some games in the 96 season. He said they would be premier league champions rather than that ‘entertaining’ side that nearly won the league.

7.) 21 Jan 2018 16:59:19
All these Journo, s keep making stories up about Utd, I think they realise we're slowly on our way back, what's worrying though is where was Sanchez all day Saturday, they reported he left Arsenal, s team Hotel at 11pm, Friday night, and was seen this morning boarding a flight to Manchester,? I suppose it sells papers.

{Ed002's Note - Why do you bother reading the papers if not to lap up all of these little snippets?}

8.) 21 Jan 2018 17:18:22
Oliver Holt is one of the few journalists I bother reading. His article today on the Sanchez signing was refreshing to read, in amongst all the usual tripe.

9.) 21 Jan 2018 17:17:35
ED002 🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏. You were born to answer questions like that 🤣.

10.) 21 Jan 2018 18:55:00
He is one of the worst Nou. Although his article on Sanchez today like you said was a really good read.

08 Jan 2018 00:10:05
Anyone think a punt for Oscar would be worth it? I thought he was a good player when at Chelsea, and I'm sure he knows Mourinho well. Can he play across the three behind the striker? Surely he's missing playing in a top league by now. Maybe a better alternative for the Miki/ mata role. I know it's just guess work but how would people feel about it?

1.) 08 Jan 2018 00:23:20
Not for me.

2.) 08 Jan 2018 00:59:31
Would rather keep Mata if Oscar was the best we were looking at.

3.) 08 Jan 2018 01:24:39
Good player but bit lightweight.

4.) 08 Jan 2018 03:50:42
Better than Mata, but as Kurtis says I'd rather keep Mata than spend a fortune on another so-so player. We need the best of the best now.

5.) 08 Jan 2018 08:39:38
Have to agree. I liked Oscar at Chelsea but no massive improvement on what we have. Ozil on the other hand would be and will be cheaper.

6.) 08 Jan 2018 10:03:29
Oscar, better than Mata?

7.) 08 Jan 2018 11:43:37
He chose to go to China at the peak of his powers. Not interested in him if he isn't interested in football.

8.) 08 Jan 2018 12:20:25
Trebled his money. We’d all do the same.

9.) 08 Jan 2018 12:31:04
I genuinely wouldn't have. I can manage on 80K a week. Just.

10.) 08 Jan 2018 12:42:49
I'm not sure I would to be honest. Money isn't everything. I'm sure he earned enough at Chelsea to live in comfort once he retired. i'd want a move to a club that would be challenging.

18 Nov 2017 19:39:49
Very accomplished performance. Pogba gives us that something special in midfield, you can see there's a big difference compared to when it's Matic and Herrera. Not really sure on Herrera, apart from covering a lot of ground, I don't think he does much. Was glad to see Martial and Rashford start with Lukkaku aswell. Thought Matic did his job brilliantly. Glad Lukkaku got his goal too. Onwards and upwards.

20 Oct 2017 00:50:45
Anyone believe these Ozil rumour's? How much do you think we'd have to pay in January if we went in for him?

1.) 20 Oct 2017 07:13:33
Anything below £30mil and I think it could be a decent deal. Cover for #10 position and can play in mid 3. However we do still have Mkhi and Mata for this position. Strength in depth never hurt us, we definitely need it atm with Micky off the boil. I think if we could get him in in the summer on a free and offload Mata it would be the best deal. Seems to have lost his way at arsenal - still a class player imo.

2.) 20 Oct 2017 08:07:22
Everyone has their opinions but I wouldn't swap Mata for Ozil, Mata should get a proper run again.

3.) 20 Oct 2017 08:33:17
Be surprised if Ozil would want to stay in the Prem after getting battered by the media at Arsenal for being perceived as lazy, be under even more scrutiny at United. Top player imo.

4.) 20 Oct 2017 09:00:12
Im with tony. mata every day over ozil.

Now let's bid for sanchez 🤣.

5.) 20 Oct 2017 09:42:25
I'm also with AJH i'd rather keep Mata he genuinely seems to love the club, I'm not a fan of ozil.

6.) 20 Oct 2017 11:21:01
I would take ozil ahead of mkhi all day long, mata though should be given a chance at no 10 before turning to ozil.

7.) 20 Oct 2017 13:08:16
Why is it that under any united management mata hasn’t really played in or nailed down that number 10 role? Rooney in the way, Miki now or isn’t he trusted there or is it because he is trusted more than any other on that right side?

8.) 20 Oct 2017 13:57:45
I don't like Ozil and his attitude. No thank you.

9.) 20 Oct 2017 16:47:16
maybe one for commercial reasons. Mesut Ozil has near 20m followers on twitter,

10.) 20 Oct 2017 21:20:57
Not one that I would be excited about but that doesn't mean he couldn't prove me wrong and either a summer free or January tiny transfer fee could be good business.

11.) 20 Oct 2017 21:21:28
IM7 - I don't think it has anything to do with that mate. Jose likes him and he's going on the cheap. He's also versatile and has that killer final ball. He can play in a three man midfield too. We lack midfielders.

12.) 20 Oct 2017 23:48:21
SchMidfield, I get that he looks like he has a bad attitude but I do think a lot of that is down to his demeanour. Since he arrived the English media have unfairly targeted him. The majority say he's lazy, but he covers more ground than anyone in that team. I'll admit his desire to defend can go missing but you're not signing him for that.

Put him in a Jose team that is well drilled, balanced and solid, wind him up and let him go. He's one of the world's best at what he does and for free. No brainer for me!

13.) 21 Oct 2017 14:58:06
Like lukaku ozil disappears when needed most can't have 2 players like that if it wasn't rumoured to sign would any on this site call him world class.

15 Oct 2017 16:59:03
Got to agree with Ed 004 further down, no one is going to be happy with the performance, we all know that. But a point away against one of the big teams is always a good point. Liverpool are a force going forward and who knows, we might of gone for the win and been beaten 3-0. I'm sure there would be a big meltdown on here if we did. Let's see how we play at our place now. Get Bailly and Rashford back to 100% and Pogba back and we'll be a lot better.

1.) 15 Oct 2017 17:50:03
After cooling down a bit, i'm not as bothered now by it all we didn't lose, I just wish I never watched it and probably won't watch the big away games in the future.

2.) 15 Oct 2017 19:26:15
Feel for the fans who paid to watch this. A point is good and better than a loss but not looking forward to the big away games now.

3.) 15 Oct 2017 19:42:56
Does anyone actually believe that is Jose had a fully fit squad he would have adopted a different strategy. Maybe we would have been better on the counter and Pogba would be able to hold on to the ball but in essence the bus would well and truly be parked, just as it will against spurs, arsenal, city and chelsea away.

Not good enough options in my opinion. Shaw is playing better, I'm happy with him as my first choice atm, with young and depot as cover. We need a top class rb because we have nothing down the right. I like depot but not sure if he's ready to be first choice just yet. We could do with someone who's about 29-30 in their prime for a couple of years till dalot is ready. That and a top centre back and we'd have a good foundation to build from.

That's got city written all over it. They missed out on Fred, not a bad alternative.

Great post mate. Couldn't have put it better myself. If the club couldn't afford to get Sanchez and pay him, they wouldn't. Simple.

Ask yourselves this, would you rather have Sanchez or not? I know what I pick.

This is a desperate attempt to convince yourself that were getting a bad deal Benny, but how would you honestly feel if Sanchez ended up signing for Liverpool? Just have a think for a minute before you post because your coming across as bitter and jealous.

It seems like a mistake pal. You finished top last season. What position you going to finish this one?

So your saying pogba doesn't perform to your high standards enough but Fred does Shappy? That's another blinder from you.

Dont agree with much that Shappy says but completely agree here. Football is a luxury, that is all. Something to keep us entertained at. How many people are going to put stress on the NHS due to football starting again? If it anything above 0 then it shouldn't be started in my opinion, not so people can have some sort of entertainment. I'm missing it as much as the next guy but waiting a bit longer will make it all the more sweeter when it finally comes round again.

Is it now a case of none of them wanting to work with OGS then ed?

{Ed002's Note - They are not interested in the job at Manchester United.}

Come on ed, he, s by far our worst signing because he doesn't score a hattrick every game and throw in 10 goal saving tackles aswell. He should be doing at least that because he's our record signing.

{Ed004's Note - Agreed. I would love to see him in a fully functioning side. A capable holding midfielder behind him with legs and Sancho on the right. Would be an incredibly exciting side}

If pogba wants to leave then I'd be happy to get rid but if he wants to stay, which I don't think he does, I think he'd be a hell of a player with more creativity around him such as Bruno and hopefully Sancho. You could have put Messi in our team in the last 4 years and he wouldve been crap.
