Hi Guy,

What is the injury with miki and carick? How long does it looks like they will be out for?
Thanks.

Tin

It's just guess work, but a thigh is usually 4-6 weeks, a calf could be 2-3. It's impossible to say though without knowing the full extent of the injury.

Either way, we are well covered.

2.) 25 Feb 2017 07:45:05
Thank you Wazza.

3.) 25 Feb 2017 11:43:13
Seems Carrick may be fit for the final now.

Edd001,

What is your opinion on Baily.
Do you think he has what it takes to make it at United?
Thank you, much appreciated.

Tin

{Ed001's Note - I think he will be fine once he has his confidence back. He is a bit rash, but that came from trying too hard in large part, so he should settle down when given a run and not feeling like he has to prove himself.}

1.) 04 Jul 2019 11:01:04
i love bailly he defends with a no nonsense attitude, not afraid to get stuck in and throw his body in.

hopefully he gets a good run of games. and stays fit.

2.) 04 Jul 2019 14:19:24
Thanks Edd.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

Hi Guys,

Very difficult to do business in January.
Out; Fellaini wants to go, Shaw is the surplus ( loan likely), don't rule out James Wilson ( loan)

The club would like to add;
LB-Danny Rose/ Aaron Martin.
CB-Samuel Umtiti/ Dayot Upamecano (very expensive), can play as DM too.
DM-/ Casemiro (possible at one point)
CM- Sergej Savic (first choice, very expensive and would be difficult to get at this point), / Carlos Soler ( possible but very expensive)
AM- Ozil ( if the price is low) / Lorenzo Peregrini (unlikely)
Mourinho would like Fabrigas at
reasonable price (Available),
Vidal ( available, if the price
is reasonable Manutd would be
interested)
LW- Asensio (unlikely), / Bale (available, to be priced out considering is injuries, / Perisic, ( Manutd could return) / Jose Arnaiz ( viable option, )

CF-Robert Lewandowsk (possible if Mourinho stays) / Greizmann ( very difficult, wants to stay in Spain)
Dyabala ( Interest could have gone but Mou likes him)

2.) 25 Nov 2017 11:19:08
Thank you very much for that Kenedy.

3.) 25 Nov 2017 12:01:48
You're welcome.

4.) 25 Nov 2017 13:07:58
There's a few there I not like to see sign.

5.) 25 Nov 2017 14:55:22
I don't think mort there is anyone who will want any of Vidal fabregas or bale.

6.) 25 Nov 2017 21:05:11
Hmm mind reader this one is.

Hey Guys and edds,

What is your outlook on CL winner this season? Is it time for english clubs to start dominate in competion again, or will it stay as it is with usual culprits in semifinals?

In my opinion, PL can make 2 semifinalist this year, not sure about winning it though.

Bayern - seems they are a bit aging and starting transition, would have them go out in last 8.

Dortmund - good side, but still level or 2 below top.

Atletico - very good side, but seems to regresed a bit in last 2 years, or not as strong as 2 years back.

Madrid - great side, one of the best teams ever. But ronaldo is slowly getting on, bale half a season out injured, modric not getting any younger and they seems to strugel in the league, although its still too early. Can they pull it of again?

Barcelona - great going forward, defence a bit doggy, plus loss of neymar amd not that great last couple of years, plus in transition?

Monaco - great young side that lost its best players.

Juventus - can they keep their consistency and make a finale step this year? With dyabala going strong.

Psg - can they make that step up and win it this year? Lots of great players plus neymar and mbape. I think being in final this year is a big possibility.

Then we have english sides.

Chealse - great balanced team, would have them down as possible finalist

Spurs - started well in CL this year, and can make last 8, but that woukd propably be it due to lack of experience.

City - great going forward with lethal attack but weak defence, can be found out.

Liverpool - with 8 "world class" players in their starting 11 plus "world class" manager in kloop, you never know.

United - much better balanced this year, with trasition almost done. Solid at the back, good going forward, but still short on winger and full backs. Got us for semifinal.

Tin

1.) 28 Sep 2017 14:41:58
Who are the 8 "world class " Liverpool players? How can Klopp be described as world class when his team has defensive and goalkeeping issues that he either can't or won't address. Apart from that I agree with most of your post.

2.) 28 Sep 2017 14:56:03
English teams should do well or better this year . Chelsea and United are both solid so should be hard to beat over 2 legs .
City are set up to go toe toe can they do that against the likes of barce and co .
Not sure what to make of the scouse .
Spurs could be a real dark horse but have they got a deep enough squad for the league and Europe.

3.) 28 Sep 2017 14:58:08
liverpool having 8 world class players 😂.

4.) 28 Sep 2017 14:53:54
Good post Tin good assesments imo.
Madrid have had a sluggish start but were without ronaldo. They are still the yeam to beat imo. Really poor window we have seen here over tbe years if you don't invest in new players especially when your winning then players go stale and can become complacent if their place is not challanged.
If we can keep our top players fit for the latter stages we can put it up to anyone. We have not played a top side yet all our games have been won against teams in bottom half and burton basle and the worst of the lot cska. Not having a dig just tempering expectations. We have battered most of them so we can do no more than we have been. But when it comes to the big matches we need our best 11 to compete. (That can be said for most teams madrid are a case in point)

5.) 28 Sep 2017 15:07:13
That liverpool was according to their fans. so i was being sarcastic.

6.) 28 Sep 2017 15:44:47
Jesus junction that was obvious sarcasm.
I would fear liverpool a lot more if they had any other msnager except for klopp. He is a tool and will drag that club back into the gutter. A total bufoon.

7.) 28 Sep 2017 17:29:30
Would you fear Liverpool if the had Moyes?

8.) 29 Sep 2017 00:41:19
Ive mire respect for moyes than klopp.

Hi,

Just would like to ask what role can club play in dietary requirements in regards of players? Can club force on players certain diet or ban certain food that players can eat? As surly this has an impact on players overal condition.
I heard/ read somewhere, albeit it's ice hockey, in particularly in Russia players get taken blood samples on regular basis in order to identifie what is body lacking or has in an access of and diet is created for the players to keep them in best shape possible .
Is something similar Being practiced in football?

Thank you.

Tin

{Ed001's Note - clubs usually have a dietician who sets up the diet plan and arranges the food available to the players while at the training ground and when they are on away trips. I know of a few clubs that go further.

Liverpool's new dietician, brought in this summer from Bayern Munich, is also a chef and she produces specific dietary plans for individual players based around data the club has on them. With her being a chef, she also creates dishes for them based around their specific needs that are tasty as well as nutritious. That made it easy for the players to accept her input as they actually enjoy the food.

This is an area I expect more to be done with over coming years, it is just that English clubs are a little behind the curve, as usual, due to the drinking, partying, pubbing and clubbing culture prevalent in England. The players are not as professional here as in most countries, so it is difficult to introduce dietary changes, as Moyes found out.}

1.) 10 Mar 2017 10:24:23
Thank you very much ed. Much apriciated.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

2.) 10 Mar 2017 14:31:49
It's partly related to the social pool from which the vast majority of English players and indeed managers come, where a diet much unhealthier than in Mediterranean countries prevails.

3.) 10 Mar 2017 19:46:10
Agree and then these guys move into senior jobs within football clubs.

Hi Edds,

I would like to ask what is the situation regarding Martial.

I don't read papers or watch news at all, but I stumbled on an article regarding martial and his position in the team.

Is it true that there is some issue with his attitude and if he doesn't clean up the act and start working harder he might go in the summer?

I guess what I'm asking, is there a rift between Jose and Martial.

Thank you

Tin

{Ed001's Note - no rift, he is just not consistent enough to hold down a place. He doesn't quite do enough for Jose, but it is not a rift as such, he will just be sold if he doesn't learn to work harder.}

1.) 23 Jan 2017 10:19:01
Thank you for the info edd. Much appreciated . If you don't mind, what is your opinion on him as a player?

{Ed001's Note - still young and learning. Plenty of ability, but he needs to learn drive and desire now to get the most out of his talents. If he can develop that hunger to succeed then he can be world class in the future.}

2.) 23 Jan 2017 11:42:19
Thanks again Edd.

{Ed004's Note - One of the combinations I was looking forward to this season was Shaw, Pogba and Martial. Hopefully, this treatment works like it has with others and both Shaw and Martial come back fighting and fully fit}

3.) 23 Jan 2017 12:40:57
Let's hope so Edd. They look very talented.

4.) 24 Jan 2017 09:08:10
Martial was up against an inexperienced 18 year old against Liverpool and didn't do much, so he got dropped. Simple

5.) 24 Jan 2017 09:50:43
I agree ed. His hunger to play is very inconsistent. One week he could be very passionate about it, and one day he jus doesn't seem to care as much. However, since being benched by jose, the time he is on the starting 11 is when his mind into it. So i think it was spot on by mourinho. I can see the kids climbing over these barriers. I hope at least, because both of them have so much talent.

I got a question though ed. Rash hasn't been starting that much as of late i think. Is it because he's still young and wants him to ease into the 1st 11 or tactical reasons, or is it jus me that thinks he deserves more chances.

{Ed001's Note - age. Jose is being careful with him. Not a bad thing really. It always used to be like this in the past, with a player only making sparing appearances to keep them hungry. Nowadays the clamour from the media makes it difficult and the players themselves tend to be too impatient and expect too much. Hopefully this lad has his head screwed on and will use it as a learning experience.}

Hi Ed.

About Martial moving, is it the player who is considering his options going forward, or is the manager who is not happy with him.

Thank you.

Tin

{Ed002's Note - He is a player the club think that they can improve on.}

Why don't we just wait for investigation on this? If he has done what is shown, he needs to be punished accordingly, but what if he didn't?

Im not taking a side here, as its the easiest thing to do. Let's hear what police investigation shows 1st and see his side of story before we throw away the key.

World is full of sick people and social media don't help. One video and you are already convicted in the eyes of others.

How many times have woman framed the man for rape, destroyed his image, life etc. and later it was found out it was not true.

Let police and court system do their work before making any decision and judging.

Tin

{Ed001's Note - a lot less than men that have got away with it.}

Wilbot, do some reading about the virus and it's strains. China is propably not disclosing true stats, but what country does or really can? China has one strain of virus, so does italy and another efected countries in Asia and Europe. There are about 5 of them strains which mutated from the original virus. Only one country has all 5 or 6 of them, so that is the most likely country where the virus came from. Do some reading around, not only what msm is feeding you.

Ed, if you don't mind, what is your take on Herrera as a player, and if assuming he is better than Fred, why not to play him.

Ed002 mentioned last year that there was some issue with josse, was this sorted out?

Thanks in an advance.

Tin

{Ed001's Note - I like Herrera, he has that bit of devil about him you need, though he goes down a little too easy for my liking. He is very good at breaking up play and getting forward in support.}
