Following the De Gea saga, he obviously wants a return to Spain leaving us needing a goalkeeper?

A lot of goalkeepers have been mentioned on the site, but one that has an awful lot of potential is Mattia Perrin? Young Italian goalkeeper who is tipped for a very bright future and tipped for the top?

Does anyone know whether we have looked at him at all?

Thanks, Ronnie.

Tbf Mattia Perrin is quite well known, he was arguably the best in Serie A last season.

Id rather have an experienced keeper with European and international experience. Like for sake of argument lloris or cillesan.

We have plenty of young keepers in johnstone, Pereira and Milinkovic.

{Ed002's Note - To answer the original question: Both Roma and Benfica were trying to negotiate the transfer of Mattia Perin for the summer, but the player said he wanted to move to Inter to replace Handanovic. However, at that time, Inter were more interested in Cech and Begovic. A rejected offer was made by Sporting who were fearful of losing Patricio. Arsenal also looked to Perin when it looked like Cech would be heading to Italy. In the end Cech moved to Arsenal, Begovic to Chelsea and Handovic and Patricio decided to stay a little longer at their respective clubs. As expected Perin took Genoa's offer of a new contract and will bide his time.}

AND FOR THE LAST TIME.I DO NOT PLAY FOOTBALL MANAGER FFS!

I research on the new bright stars for the future, find the good from the bad and then ask the Edds if we have shown or at least been looking at certain players?

Thanks for the reply Ed, as for you other guys (excluding Mpez) I'm not pulling RANDOM names, these are footballers we all should know about in the footballing world! Perhaps before comments are made and you start judging people, look up the players name, find out abit more about them, THEN make judgement?

Thanks again Ed and Mpez!

Ronnie.

{Ed002's Note - They are players the club has no interest in that you keep asking about. They are random.}

I see you've decided to trade in your nakkered old questions marks for some brand new straight and shiny exclamation marks ronnie.

I give up! What's the point of voicing my opinion only to be knocked down again.

{Ed007's Note - But it's not just your opinion, is it? It's always a question if Utd are interested in the latest random player you've discovered on the internet or seen in a match. You don't even want to actually discuss the players, you only want to know if Utd are interested in them and it's just becomes endless mundane drivel day in and day out from you. I asked the tech guys if we could set up something that would automatically just answer 'No' to any of your posts and dump them on the Other Posts page, that way us Eds wouldn't even need to read them.
So the next time you're posting in to ask if Utd are interested in X player, take a minute to catch your thoughts and remember this, the answer's no, it's always been no and it'll always be no. You should get that printed out and put above your desk in big bold letters:

THE ANSWER'S NO, IT'S ALWAYS BEEN NO & IT'LL ALWAYS BE NO!

It'll serve you well just now and - I'll give you this advice - when you get married the same rule applies.}

Ah Ed007, don't go ruining a possibly beautiful marriage before it's begun, it's not that bad Ronnie, you'll be right at least 10% of the time, but never voice it when you are!

How about if you just say such and such a player looks quality and we should check them out, maybe a list now and then as opposed individual posts about individual players. Not all of us have time on our hands to look at young talent from Europe so I'd appreciate it at least. Anthony Martial was a total surprise to me, but I'd imagine Ronnie would've been well aware of who he was. We all have something to offer.
