The Eric Bailey transfer goes to show that the majority of people don't know who our targets are. He wasn't on anyones wish list. He wasn't flavour of the month. Jose has been doing his homework off the field for awhile now. Hopefully there's another few surprises in this window of players that come from left field. One thing is though, Jose knows a good defender. Exciting times ahead.

So far very good. We have needed a CB for 3 years and finally a manager who starts his rein by a signing that is relevant. I also agree that very few people know what we are up to.

That is our last 2 signings that came absolutely from nowhere and took us all by surprise, let's hope this one is as good as the last!

We do have to admit we are amateurs when a prospect comes out of nowhere. Jose could be building a young athletic team, with a few experienced leaders to guide them along. And I still have the feeling that Jose will love the potential of Fosu-Mensah as well as Bailly.

If it's one thing mourihno is good at it is identifying the weakness in a team and fixing it almost instantly.

I may be a little bit over excited and positive but I think we are going to have a fantastic season I genuinely can't wait.

Its a good point, people go on about the same people, you would think there are only 3 or 4 players out there that could possibly make us a better team .

Lot of good players out there with the right attributes to make a good team.

He's very young and inexperienced, I hope he does really well but m not sure he is the rock we were all hoping for. I, one I may appear somewhat grumpy right now, but the page seems to be infected with unrealistic optimism (apart from Beastie Boy) . We have signed a green CB and look like signing a 34 year old CF. We have some good young players and we need 2 or 3 top quality signings to suplement them, so far I'm not seeing them.
