People are getting carried away with this full backs tucked inside thing and obviously think pep is utterly stupid. They did it in the first game against Sunderland so everyone thinks that is how they play, but they didn't do it in their last game so they have a variety of ways to play. If we set up to counter their full backs in the centre then they will just play as full backs.

I also really don't understand this obsession with Mata in behind, or is just a case of anybody but Rooney? Every time he has played 10 for us he has been awful, Zlatan is not the quickest so we would have 2 slow players in the centre, Rooney isn't super quick anymore but he's faster than Mata and I imagine will play there. I think Jose will want us to be calm in possession tomorrow so the same front 4 as the previous games with rashford and miki to come on as impact subs. The only change would be rashford possibly coming in for martial, although I think martial deserves to keep his place and hit some form.

Martial on the left, mkhitarayan/ lingard on the right and rashford behind ibrahimovic is the way I'd like to see.

Martial has not had a great start to the season IMO. I would have Lingard Zlatan Rashford as front three. I would prefer to see Mikki play in behind them or Mata.

gds is right city only set up that way in thr first game .
and mata plays better out wide for some reason, his worse games have been at 10 imo.
i would start with linders or miki if fit .

rash must be pushing for a place but where do you play him .

Why are people picking Micki ahead of Rashford to play wide right? Rashford is bang in form, Micki has hardly played. Are you just wanting to play with your shiny new toy?

Regardless, it will be the same front 4 that has started all season, as this fixture is the one Jose has worked towards.
