A lot of people is missing the point last night, moyes is testing out combinations and last night the evans and phil jones performance reaffirmed that we have the defence to handle this season, the most positive thing was shinji kagawa performance, check out moyes comments about it he has seen the light with the lad, for a footballer to come through at united and playing under such pressure he doing the right things, it wasn't a perfect kagawa display but a man of the match performance without having a run of games, plus the adnan rise have made things intersting.

1.) I'm much happier ADA, but I would be more confident if we were playing against premiership quality. The guys they were up against wouldn't get into most prem teams. Let's see what happens on Saturday.

2.) Agreed. The most obvious sign is the fact that nobody was sold in the summer. This is a long term plan, everyone is starting from scratch under Moyes and being given a fair chance. This will naturally mean some topsy turvy results and performances in the short term but will ultimately prove beneficial in the long run.

3.) Elbow 55 - I think this is one of the key reasons people need to respect the job Moyes is trying to do. I've lost a bit of patience with him over the past few weeks, but he has conducted himself brilliantly and the fact he took his Everton boys with him just shows how he doesn't care about reputations (even if most people think he should have stuck with the old backroom), if he is going to fail he is going to fail because he made the wrong calls, not that he followed the wrong advice!

A bit like what Holloway said yesterday, if you can't do the job you want to do then walk away.

I'm hoping the players start repaying that faith and decency. Otherwise he will be another good guy fed to the wolves.

I love the way our club works, despite what is said about what happening behind the scene, fergie left the club with alotta talent, I would love coming to manage a squad where I can have rooney up top with with nani left and zaha right with kags in the hole linking with double midfield of carrick and hererra, hererra wil be good buy hope we pull it off.

RVP needs to be managed from this point to be brilliant for a long time.now if we don't get anyone I'm all for looking at our talent pool at the club and with new manager to proof yourself to it can be good for some players to kickstart there careers again cause there not much bigger than UNITED
