the only reason I can see for loosing today is bad team selection. hernandez should have start in welbacks place and why is he not playing kagawa? we had the ball but we lacked creativity. there was no one to make that last pass.

people might get angry at me for saying this specially guys with no names. I don't think we lost thiago either due to our manager or any fault of our club. he just decided to join bayren, because that's where he wants to be i'm sure that has to do something with pep being their manager. yes we lost a chance to sign a great talent but if we find the right players who wants to play for us I don't think we have to worry about the future.
i won't cry now and say we are doomed but at the end of the transfer window if we have not signed few midfielders and a quality winger then we might struggle a bit but who knows what will happen. ( sorry if there are any mistakes )
1.) If you were a footballer what would be the factors for you to move to a club. I would sugest:
1. Money
2. Club
3. Location
4. CL
5. Genuine trophy contenders
I don't believe club history is a deciding factor anymore.

i read this site almost everyday not just during transfer windows but also during the season and it seems every time there is some negativity there seems to be new posters popping up from every where and all they do it act negative and try to say how bad we are as a club. we might miss out on thiago but we will move on. i'm sure we will sign good enough players who are ready to play for the club, yes it is sad to miss out on potential stars or big players but that doesn't mean we are going to loose everything
1.) It's not a case of 'the club' being bad - but an element of it.
People complaining that those directly responsible for transfers are inept is no different than people critisicing The Glazers or Rooney. As far as I can tell they are damaging the club far more than the aforementioned - and so the criticism is more than warranted.
If a teacher couldn't teach, a baker couldn't bake, a driver couldn't drive, etc - they would be removed from their position. The people responsible for dealing with transfers have shown time and time again that they can't deal with transfers; so why are they STILL at the club?

hi guys I read the site a lot but post very rarely, love the site.
i know you guys keep talking about we need a new LB I know most of us want a tested all ready classy LB but what do you guys think about Ben Davies of Swansea.

Good young player, but I don't, think he will be quite good enough for us. If were going to sign a young english prospect then it has to be Shaw who will. be the best english LB in 3/5 years time.

Shappy the media today look to be saying Shaw is off to Chelsea. Bit of a shame as he won't get many chances there with Cashley staying on another year. So he'll probably get set back a bit. Also feel for Bertrand as he's not a bad player.

Its not suprising, first off Shaw is a Chelsea fan, second he is the perfect replacement for Ashley Cole, and thirdly when since Abramovic bought the club has a youth product been actually given a chance? So Bertrand was never going to get the chance to be first choice. I expect Shaw to move to Chelsea then go back on loan to Southampton for a year then back to Chelsea to take over from Cole for the 2014/15 season.

I feel he won't do that and I feel he will give anderson a chance to play on the left and show what he can do. I agree with u that thiago should play as a cm along side carrick and if we get strootman I think he will play carricks role when needed and giving carrick a chance to rotate
We didn't have thiago last season but did we get hammered in Europe?
