I know we would love pep, but our only option is mourinho. Carlo A is bayern bound. What are people's thoughts on Mark Hughes or Pards as genuine contenders?

I don't think many on here are looking past the so called big names that seem to want to jump from club to club. Or do well then get fired.
None of the big clubs seem to want a manager in situ for too long nowadays.
I argue that it doesn't have to be that way but I'm in the minority I'm afraid.
It's hard to argue that the revolving for policy does not work for some but you can argue it doesn't work for all.
All I know is that asa club Manchester United have had our best periods of success under the very long tenures of Sir Matt and Sir Alex so it's a proven method of success at our club. We backed both those men under the most difficult of circumstances and nobody now doubts that backing.
I would like a long term appointment and I have no issue with us demoing or own next 'super coach' and backing him. It's the proven way of success long term at this club.

Firstly, we have a Manager. Secondly, if we were to change, why is Mourinho the only option? he would be a disaster, his recent spells have been poor and his behaviour is becoming more and more erratic. Who had head of Wenger before he went to Arsenal? Pochetino? Me neither. The same old names are being trotted out when RedMan had it right. As and when we need a new Manager it needs to be a careful rational considered decision with a long term plan in mind. Not a knee jerk reaction that sees us try to sign the biggest name.

Hi guys, little disappointed with our failure to land pedro, due to Ed Woodwards strategy of misbelief that we are the only club interested in him, however I have heard from sources that we are trying to guzump city on the de bryne transfer and that he is genuinely interested in joining us over city. The guys got a great engine may solve our right Attacking midfield issue. Also neymar will never happen, LVG will destroy the lad!

sources. you mean the papers.

why does everyone claim to be "ITK" when it's blatantly obvious they're just reading the papers.
