Long time reader, rarely post.
I remember Ed002 saying awhile back that Manchester United had a long term goal in mind and employing Mourinho would scupper those ideas. Does anyone know what the long term plan is as I personally wouldn't take Jose as I still dislike how his Porto team performed in Seville!

From what I recall the plan was LVG til 2017 then Allegri until 2022. I'm not so sure that plan is available now and I'm not sure on anything regarding Jose other than he would like the job offer to come his way.

He said he identified four signings and wanted them done early, finished with saying and after they're signed the transfer window will still be open. So say Bale or some other player that will improve the squad becomes available they may be signed also.
