Just heard that Manutd are in talks with Ajax for Christian Eriksen for a fee of around £ 12m. As part of the deal Alex Buttner will be sent to them on loan till end of season and that will be the only signing till January.

But Ajax have Daley Blind for LB so have no need for Buttner.

2.) Looks like this could happen. Not sure about Buttner though. Eriksen would be a remendous buy and value for money. United have muted in the past about forging closer links with Ajax and them taking some of our youngsters on loan. This would suit both parties we would get options on some of their up and coming young stars. They would have a constant supply of young talent that they could develop, with no cost involved

5.) I would like Eriksen to come to United, but find it hard to believe we will not buy a strong tackling midfielder as well. I also think 12 million is wishful thinking, as soon as a club sell a player to an elite club, like United, they look for more cash. If he were to join, it would be around the 18 - 20 million euro mark (16 -18 m pounds). Eriksen, Fellaini, Baines would represent a good transfer season for us. I must add that having Ozil, Cesc, Cabaye would be my first choices, but Eriksen is a very good midfielder and is young. The one problem with him is his desire to finish up in Spain.

10.) Twaddle. Eriksen is an attackign midfielder, a position we really don't need to reinforce. Never seen any links with us for him at all. Never going to happen. And personally from what I have seen of him and read from Dutch fans as well, he is a good young player but not a special one either

I would love Moyes line up for tomorrows carling cup fixture against liverpool to be as follows;

ddg, fabio, vidic, Smalling, buttner, anderson, Cleverly, Zaha/ januazaj Nani, kagawa, Hernandez

lets have something different from the ordinary

1.) That's what I would like to see as well, except for Evans instead of Vidic.Come on, he's at his 30's now, he can't play so many games in a row!

2.) Think we would all like to see a line up like that or very similar smalldaddy

3.) I hope he does that, it would definitely indicate if he has the balls we need him to have or not.

That team would beat Liverpool in my opinion.

hey good fellas. With the mentality and selection of players that our manager has I doubt if we'll beat any of the top teams. Am surprised that zaha, kagawa and januzaj are not being involved and are much better than all the wingers that played today. I have also noticed there's little believe and morale with the players. I don't think any top class player will get attracted with our system of play at the moment.( so let's not wait for deadline day with so much enthusiasm since the lot that will come will be of the same quality with what we currently have)
