Eds, I had a post on the banter page that has been deleted. May I ask why, not sure what rules were broken?

popester

{Ed002's Note - No. Editorial decisions are final.}

1.) Editorial decisions being final is fine but I don't find it unreasonable to ask why. On that note I think I'll impose a self-enforced ban till, hopefully, things get back to normal, if they ever do. If not good luck everyone and, like you I'll be cheering us on I've really enjoyed my 18 months posting here and much longer reading. Be safe.

{Ed002's Note - It is up to you man - all of the bollocks has gone to the Other page, but it won't settle until Manchester Unite sack the Roy Keane/Paul Furlong dream team as joint managers.}

I agree about the structure being changed so that so much on the club doesn't fall on the manager, but this is a big change that doesn't happen overnight.

Red Man, there is sentiment at every club, of course. Your original post said that we had been 'run' on sentiment for too long, which is not the case.

LFC might well have been 'decisive' with BR if they hadn't paid off Benitez and gone through Dalgleish and Hodgson in relatively quick succession.

Move on, but don't be blind to the unsavory aspects of this season that extend beyond the results. We might well be having similar conversations with frequency from now on, depending on results.

When you say we have been run on sentiment for 'too long' do you mean >10 months? The 20 years previous we were winning things so sentiment didn't need to come into it.

Sir Matt and Sir Alex were both given time to create a winning team. that's not sentiment either, its allow someone the time to make the changes required.

BR had an unspectacular first year with Liverpool and perhaps LFC are about to be rewarded for their patience.

Ed0002 - are you in any way related to Yoda? You share your wisdom in riddles and are so often spot on!

Good post, sums up the situation very well. I would keep Valencia and Wellbeck as squad players, at least for now.
