As much as the win is obviously important, I love the fact our mentality is so strong, now. To go a goal down to a great City side, when they were controlling the game, and to come back. That's what I'm most proud of, and what I love about this team. We're a bit thin on the ground for a proper title challenge imo, but as long as we're up there making a nuisance of ourselves, I'll be happy. Enjoy tonight, folks ?.

I thought we were the more dangerous team in the first half. Rashford could have had a couple, a few times Brunos final ball was poor but overall I thought we applied ourselves well and nullified City.
Second half we were poor. The game got stretched and we lost our shape. They capitalised and scored from their first chance. After that I thought we lost our heads to be honest. A lot of long balls to no one, couldn't string a few passes together but got a bit lucky with the goal.
Garnacho was fantastic when he came on and we got the second we deserved. The back 4 were immense. Shaw and Varane did great and both full backs in AWB and Malacia were also great.
Very proud of that performance and if we were more ruthless we could have been out of sight by halftime.
We've beaten City before over the last few years but this is different. Adding our recent form and results this is a huge turning point in this teams evolution.
Title race? Why not.

Think today showed our fight 6 months ago we lose that game 2 or 3 nil.

As long as we're up there, we'll always have a chance. Just think with the schedule and a drop off in quality if we get an injury or two, it'll be tough. Probably a season too soon, but well ahead of where I thought we might be at this stage. Nice to be up there again, though.

Sorry Mumbles, I meant controlling the game at that point.

Do days get much better? Win the Derby and Liverpool get hammered as well to put the cherry on top! Class!

Flying high here! What a game. We had a very good first half and if more ruthless in the box could have been 2 or 3 up at HT. They then scored and were in control. Pre ETH we would have folded but, against the flow when they were controlling the game, we just kept fighting and completely turned the match on its head. And we deserved the 3 points over 90 minutes. If the board can back ETH, which might be tricky given the sale of the club, I see a bright future with this ‘manager’ who is showing he’s also a proper coach. Onwards and upwards.
GGMU.

I know the big names will get the plaudits, and rightly so, but shout out to young Malacia, today. Mahrez is a very good player, but that's the quietest I've ever seen him for City. Love his all action style.

Malacia started off the season well then got destroyed in the first city game and fell off. He’s back on form again and showing the right mentality to match his ability.

Varane was exceptional he and Shaw were near faultless Imo AWB and malacia also had really good games. City had 1 shot on target.
Palace away now is all that matters.
