Yeah a good listen. Honest about the mistakes of eth and ashworth.
Honest about the finances and honest about the players and wages etc.
Right man in the right place at the right time. Looking after the club a lot better most is sjr.

Not seen it, but did Neville have the bottle to ask how SJR feels about being seen as a Glazer enabler? Will he take dividends when the club returns to profit?

Agree tumbleweed, he handled himself well and gave some good insight. People can make assumptions on the state of the club but he is the one that knows the truth and what needs to be done.
I think it was good that he done the interview and that it was with neville as he is a fan and united through and through gave him a bit of a rough time.

Just shows how bad the glazers and the likes of Woodward, Arnold etc have ran this club to the ground
The fact we’ve lost money for the last 7 years and even without buying anyone we have to pay 84 million in the summer on owed transfer fees
Shocking and what’s more is that I get some decisions are not the most popular that Jim and ineos have had to do but why is the media and co not searching for answers from the glazers
No one has hounded them for answers on why the club pays 35 million in interest for the debt, why have they not put any money in themselves to bring it down
Hopefully Jim and co can do what he’s aiming and get the club out the slums.

Always interesting to see interviews like this, although a shame it only happens as a last resort when we're at boiling point.
A few candid answers, but quite a few bizarre ones that appear to throw specific players (and ten Hag) under the bus which IMO should be kept behind closed doors, much like some of Ruben's comments recently. Clearly he's a successful businessman but he doesn't inspire confidence for me.

You can watch the full interview on the YouTube Overlap channel. It's well worth watching. He doesn't 'throw anybody under a bus'!
