A genuine question to those that are very frustrated.
What do you think the club should have done differently this summer?
Particularly around signings and sales?

Moved a bit quicker. Its not like they didn't know what was required. They brought in Amorim mid season but are still not backing him enough. What good does it do to take kids to the tour. The team yet again will be ill prepared and will play catch up after just a month. They are playing football manager but not with the players, they are busy doing it with the non playing staff.

I am sure the club is working hard on ins and outs, they not all sitting on the beach thinking let’s just wait and see what happens, like many on here seem to think
Those same people moan if we over spend on transfers and salaries then moan when we won’t pay over
Then they also need to come to real world and realise we are not such a strong draw for players especially if we not over paying anymore
The childish comments we are United are just that out of date and childish!

Closed the Mbuemo deal, this haggling seems to drag on. Apart from that, I think we are where we are.

Im surmising that we need some income 1st ajh or surety of same.
We can't over spend and need to be sure of sancho and rashford leaving and if we are on hook for wages if they only go on loan.
We can't force them out.
Very frustrating but understandable.

Ua. How do you propose we move quicker in selling players without offers?

Do the obvious and sell onana, give him away even, and a proper striker, stop goals at one end, put them in at the other end. unless they want to finish 15th next season again.
Get rid of the boys that are half arsed, comcentrate on football not their image and how they look.

I think Leahy sums up perfectly what we'd all love to happen, what should happen, without addressing any of the hows. I think if clubs gave away every flop or negative player they had most clubs would have gone bankrupt by now lol.
It does feel like it will rumble on until very late in the window when clubs pull out of the game of chicken and one snaps with an offer. Apart from Sancho who'll probably take a year out and pick up his wad of cash in a season.

So leahy your suggesting we just give him away fail psr and take a 12 point deduction. Brilliant. corks hurling success must have made you dizzy???.

We are fckin screwed if this carries on simple as. I don’t have any more info as i’m not clued up on it as i’ve not been watching what’s going on. But 1 major signing isn’t good enough at this stage at all. No major sales either.
Players need to be able to bed in, and them joining when the season is about to start will not work.
Strap in for more of the same as last season. Another year written off, maybe when Liverpool used to say next year is our year, we can tag, the year after next will be our year instead.
? show club.

The Antony deal looked to be the easiest to conclude from the outside. Betis like him, he likes it there. We want rid. We know it’ll be at a loss but it felt like a deal could’ve been done.
Look at possible options for Garnacho. Amorim apparently told him to find a new club so he’s not wanted here for sure. Napoli, Atletico and Chelsea were reported to be interested. Surely we’ve got people at our club who can negotiate a deal?
Rashford and Sancho are more difficult because of wages but it sounds like a deal can be done with Barcelona and Juve respectively. Loans will maybe have to do for now.
All these things are maybe going on behind closed doors but they feel like they’re being drawn out again. We seemed to pull off the Cunha deal fairly easily without too much fan fair. The Mbuemo one probably should’ve been wrapped up by now.
I’d put money on us overspending on a new striker very late in the window who hasn’t even been mentioned yet.

2 Tom's we may well over spend but I doubt you'll find one not mentioned yet ??.

I didn’t expect to see Calvert - Lewin to be fair. Or Wilson!
If we were to panic buy and over spend, I would like it to be Osimhen.
